Really useful videos I have just passed my theory test and have been sitting lessons for a while now these will help me become test ready! 👍🏼 also it’s easier to understand a fellow Scotsmans instructions on driving 😂 thanks 😊
Just took a route similar to this on my test and passed thanks to you and all your videos. Wouldn’t have passed without these useful tips in your videos thanks very much.
+@user-rj4nu4lz7q That’s great news, thanks for taking the time to comment. Really glad the videos were helpful. Hopefully you can celebrate your success this weekend.
Thanks Angus! The merging after going through Gogar roundabout is exactly where I failed. Got another test booked for October and your videos are a lifesaver.
Hi Thomas, it’s a really difficult route, so many things to catch people out. Compared with some other test routes I think it’s one of the hardest they are using at the moment. Good luck in October. I’m sure you will get it next time.
Thanks so much Angus, your videos are a MASSIVE help!! Thanks for explaining everything so clearly and patiently, and pointing out what we should look out for. I passed my driving test recently thanks to you - been hearing your voice and tips in my head throughout the drive haha!
No problem at all Matt, so glad to hear that you have been successful and found the videos helpful. Thanks for taking the time to comment. Enjoy the freedom.
These are amazing videos Angus. This helped me to pass my driving test yesterday. Thank you so much. Your Mirror Mirror Signal is the key thanks for teaching it to me. Really Appreciate. Keep helping Cheers
Thank Angus, I failed my first test just a few days ago while on the country road side and I just saw it in this video.... I wish this was done a few months ago but thanks for this. I intend to pass it next time.
@@AngusDriving Hey Angus, on the 31st of August I failed my test. After watching your videos for a whole month (yes all the videos here for a whole month) and having a new test date, I passed my test this morning. It was this route precisely with the country road side where I failed the first time.... Thank you so much.
Thanks for this video! I was wondering around 24:00, with the one bus lane ending and another one starting, why can't you be in the second bus lane? You say you're allowed to drive in it but you're not to drive to the end of it? Not sure what you mean. Time stamps: Bus lanes 03:25-04:25, 06:18-06:40, 09:30-10:00, 23:40-24:30 Cycle lanes you drive in: 27:00-28:30
Hi yeah it’s a strange section of road at 24:00. The bus lane comes to a dead end. If you go along that road in your test at the moment the examiner should tell you to move out. This is because the sign that says that the bus lane ends has been taken down. So the examiner will have to guide you. Depending on how busy the road is the examiner might get you to move out very early so it’s not difficult to switch lanes. Hope that makes sense. Good luck with your test
Angus question from me. At 24:40 in the video at the Maybury traffic lights. You approached on the left hand lane then moved out after the traffic lights to head towards North/West. Can you move into the outside lane as you approach the traffic lights? I ask as it can be difficult to get out into the right hand lane after the lights. Hope that makes sense and love your videos - so informative and helpful 👍👍
Hi Dave, if you were told earlier or you were following a sat nav that said “keep right” then yeah you can move whenever you have the knowledge that that’s where you are going. As long as you have a reason to be driving out in the right lane then that’s absolutely fine.
Thanks Angus. Hey, how can I book lessons with you? I went through all your videos and I'm feeling ready, however, my test coming in November at Currie Test Centre and I would like to have maybe a couple of lessons to check how am I doing. Cheers
Hello Angus, At @12:33 do you think according to new rule one should wait as the pedestrian (as they were on the crossing vs when they are on the edge of pavement waiting to cross) have right of the way rather over the car merging into the side road?
Hi Sahil, well spotted, yeah you have a great point. I think in this case I was probably just okay being ahead of them. However if they were arriving at the junction or standing on the corner waiting to cross the new rule would be that you should give way to them. Or give them an opportunity to cross and if they don’t go, you can proceed carefully.
You're a mini celebrity in our car (myself and instructor) 😄. Do you know if they take you on a different route based on your postcode?. I live in Colinton and apparently they look at your postcode so you don't drive near your house?. Also do you have an emergency stop video?.
Haha a Z list celebrity 😂 . I’m not sure about the postcode I think they would need to think pretty quickly as some postcode areas will be larger than others. I’ve had people drive past their houses on tests before. I can include the emergency stop in the next video. 👍🏼
Hello friends I am passing my driving test in 4th attempt. I am honest with you friend please watch Angus videos these videos are extremely helpful. cheers.
Thank you so much Angus for the video, I got my test tomorrow at 8.57am so this video was super super useful!
