I've been using left hand low exclusively for around 15 years now. Before that I used the claw grip and then did both (left hand low for long puts and claw for short puts) but as Nelly said, with the left hand low it feels like everything moves together a lot easier. I have a TON of problems with my game but I always feel confident with the putter. As long as I get the line right 😂
Yes. I feel the club does not wobble & I don’t pull it to the left on follow through. Also, Phil said use the heel of the putter a little which helps me keep it in a straight line.

36 yrs. old now, golfing since 6-7 and at about age 10 I was at the usual putting green Mick Riley par 3 course....and I heard someone mention Fred Couples had tried cross-handed putting, well he was my favorite golfer so of course I tried it.....26 years now never looked back. Down to a 2 handicap now with a goal to be a scratch golfer in the next year.
Oh also I should add 1-2 years ago I got back into the game after a short hiatus, I was a 7-8 handicap at my return and after a few months switched from LHL NO Interlock to LHL w/ Interlocked fingers and instantly saw an improvement and as Nelly said felt way more connected with the club. Point being be open to change/adjust things, at least try them, I had resisted interlocking LHL for 20+ years and that simple change made all the difference, that change and my first new putter in 15 years account for the drop in handicap from 8 to 2 almost entirely. (From SC Newport 2, to Odyssey AI-One Mallet)
The interlocking of the hands was big for me. I always felt like I was stretching and out of sync when I've tried left hand low before. Physically lower on the grip through extension rather than just naturally switching the hands round. Going to take this to the practice green for sure!
What I like about left hand low is that the shoulders are even. But I don't have the feel as I do using the claw grip, especially with short putts. Nelly's a great putter.

Thanks for the insight and tips. I am a 65+ senior man who has putted conventional since Jr. High School, and always been an average putter. I stumbled on to this video and have been left hand low for a month. The first two weeks were scary, as distance control was horrible. I figured if I gave conventional fifty years, I could give left hand low a month, and what a great change it has been. After I got comfortable, my putting has improved dramatically. I have had one three putt in the last week, am having one putt holes with amazing regularity and my distance control is better than ever. Again, thank you, and best wishes in your future endeavors.
Will be interesting to see how Nelly handles her interview on May 31st at Pine Needles, regarding her April surgery to remove a blood clot in her arm.She will dance around that one like Fred Astaire.

She said yes he did, but I prefer to leave it confidential for reasons of privacy .Watch it, she was not happy being there. Pretty obvious what caused the clot

I mean it is an unconventional technique for right handed golfers since they are right handed. If you put your left hand low then it becomes the dominant side so its “unconventional”
