Gasoline vs hornets : gas cup vs wasp nest : will gas kill hornets
HTML-код
- Опубликовано: 13 сен 2024
- In this video I follow the tictok trend of the gas cup vs small wasp nest but up the game and use a cookie jar of gas vs a bald face hornet nest. The gas cups have went viral so I’m hoping going the step above will do well. The gas works fast against the hornets killing the wasp almost instantly when they fly away. As usual there is also lots of hornets getting crushed we can’t leave that out of our removal videos. In my opinion the gasoline vs hornets worked very well.

Bees: We gently put them into a new hive!
Wasp: We don’t negotiate with terrorist!

He who drinks a 5th on the 4th will not go fourth on the fifth
😂👍
@@brentmiller3951 "will not go 'forth' on the 5th"
"Forth" is the word you want, not "fourth". Funny otherwise. 😉👍
But he'll get far enough for another fifth , unless he drank that on the 4th ,then he need to find the 4th and 5th on the way to 12th , God grant me the strength to accept the fifth on the forth ,and not to have the fifth on the forth , and know the difference with Wisdom is , 4/5ths , Wisdom always was a soak . Time to blow up a nest with fireworks, that would be cool.
If only a homeowner would approve lol, Unless he finds one on his property
The collateral damage to the house wouldn’t be as cool.
@@JeronRush327 Only have if the nest is in a tree then yes, of course.
Put one rocket side first and then it starts raining flaming Hornets if they survive the explosion

Thanks sadly I did not a fire work almost burnt my house down
Pollin & chlorophyll makin fuel greenish yellow ??
Enjoyed the video. But I have to point out the fact that you had an electronic device, easily capable of instantaneous electrical ignition, right in the middle of gasoline fumes. That's on top of the sheer toxicity of gasoline fumes, especially over a prolonged period of time. There is a reason why there are signs at gas stations prohibiting cell phones around the pumps, and that's without the fumes being so prevalent as they were around you. You could easily have set yourself and the whole house on fire. You'd have instinctively thrown the jar, likely spreading the fireball of liquid gasoline all over yourself in an instant.

Working in the yard a few years ago and got stung once on the top of my head and 30 minutes later I was in an ambulance on the way to the hospital. That was some scary stuff.
I got nailed on the back of the hand 4 times before I could react by a bald faced hornet nest before, the holes they make are huge. My hand swelled up and I had red streaks up my arm to my elbow, its wild how our bodies can react to stings.
@@Straydogger sorry to hear that that’s one of the reasons I do what I do most people who call me are either allergic or have pets or kids that could be hurt

How the hell do wasps or hornets manage to make their nests like that is my question
@CriticalCentrist A queen starts to forge for wood and chews it up into a pulp and finds a place to build the nest out of paper and build cells inside. Then the queen lays her eggs and then forge for food to feed the larvae. Once the larvae grow into adult workers she then sends them out to forge wood and chew it up into saliva and wood pulp which is paper and help build cells and thus the nest is developed. The original queen also builds her own cells as other female workers are the builders of normal cells. The original queen dies and new queens are repeating the same cycle with others venturing off to build a new nest.
Majority of the time, the queen dies from exhaustion and starvation before a brood can emerge
How do they expand the nest?
@@CriticalCentrist the shell is a mixture of wood cellulose and saliva. Believe it or not a nest this size is built in 1-2 weeks only.
That mid-air hornet catch was next level!!!

Awesome video. Im wondering why the gasoline turned cloudy.
I'm thinking the gasoline was quickly breaking them down, creating hornet-gasoline soup.

@@ChildofLight777 same I need to upgrade cameras this season for sure just need one video to blow up and I’ll get it
In much of the video the camera is pointed downward which makes it difficult to follow along.
I remember years ago seeing what looked like a bell with an inverted bottom lip. It was designed to hold fruit liquor so as to attract bees and the alcohol fumes would make the bees dizzy causing them to fall in the reservoir of liquor. I've been tempted to have a glass blower make one.
Its almost as if the vapor kills them
When using gasoline should use a bowl, it touches the nest. The gas will suck great a minute. And you should do it at night when all the bees are back
It scared me to death when you ripped the nest open and there was still a bunch and they’re super scary

Your videos are hilarious! I think the gasoline was really stupid, it's just too dangerous to F with that and unless they fell into it there wasn't much effect. @@wasphunter7131 With great and unnecessary risk, comes great injury. You're literally playing with fire. One of the most volatile liquids on the planet in one hand, while holding a spark machine in the other hand. You lucked out one time. But you're pulling a bad version of the one armed bandit. And it's just a matter of a short number of times, before all the bad cherries come up. Besides, you're encouraging other people, including teenagers who don't have fully developed brains (and the judgment that can only fully function in fully developed brains), to try the same thing. I know I probably would have as a teenager. And they wouldn't have the same (hornet) protective equipment as you do. But they ALL have jars and gasoline available. With teenagers, unfortunately everything is: "Monkey see, monkey do!" I used to set fire to the palm of my hand with rubbing alcohol...in my twenties, as a stunt. Actually not as dangerous as it sounds...if you're near a sink. But yeah, teenagers will try anything for a stunt, and to impress girls. And they'll all record it up close with one hand holding the gasoline and the other holding the livestreaming spark machine. How young men get to be old men is only doing these things once, or better yet, not doing them at all. Have you ever visited a burn unit? Now try getting a garden pump sprayer full of gas and spray into the nest and see if they drop out of there faster then that powder stuff you’ve been using
What's the green substance in the bottom of the jar?
Since nobody answered, it's the hornets pissing themselves after they died
Awesome video! Whats the stuff you put on the area of the hive after you removed it to prevent them from coming back?
Excellent ! I had one too. I came at night and covered the small nest with a clear plastic container. Then I used a piece of sheet metal to cut it from the overhang and cover the container. It was like a blender going off inside the container as I came down from the ladder. Caught them all. Thanks for the video.
As me mates John and Paul wrote, ‘All You Need is Love,’ even for hornets! They’ve got their place, so let ‘em be. Peace and love, lads - Rungo."
What would happen if you set the jar on something and allowed a little space between the jar and the nest and just let it sit for an hour or so? Would allow returning bees to go into nest and get a full whiff and then drop into the pool of gasoline.
It seems like the gasoline kills them instantly and they do not suffer long so that’s good. But inconvenient to work with gasoline all the time
That yellowy-green stuff in the bottom of the gasoline was the hornets pissing themselves as they died!
Do this kind of stuff at night, when they've all returned to the nest. Worked with Bee Keeper/Killer when I was 15.
Why do you do it in the daytime when half the bees are gone. You're supposed to do it at night and they're all in the nest
Maybe a plastic jar that can hold the gas. It will be lighter to hold up against the nest.
I feel so bad for enjoying these videos hahaha but please can you do more gorilla glue videos? the glue is crazyyyy! and yes more gas videos haha
