Is it necessary to have to spend $3,000 on a camera like this? I live in Florida USA and work for Terminix. As a field inspector. I really want to buy a thermo imaging camera to enhance my inspections. There is no way that I'm going to Shell out $3,000 for a camera like this. I've seen several flir models for under $500. Any helpful information would be greatly appreciated.
would be nice if we actually see positive confirmation of termites in the video.
Can the flir cam can detect termites beyond concrete / brick walls too?
What brand/model is the thermal camera you're using in this video?
Clifton Jones Mate, it's a Flir E50.

All concrete slab have cracks, people who only check the outside perimeter for tubes are not real inspectors.
Only with very expensive cameras. Don't expect those $200 thermal cameras sold on Amazon would do this. They are useless.
