So glad I found this post. Can’t believe I missed it a few years ago. Better late than never
The best in the World. There Will never be another Airlines like Pam American. You Will never be forgoten
Way more interesting than I thought it would be for a video about uniforms. You can really feel the love for Pan Am in this group.
I still have my “white hat”……..and all my wings. A cherished career momento.
Love to see images!
I have worked for Pan Am in Brazil for seven years and those have been the most happy years in my.
I thank God, not only for that good years but for the many, many things I have learned.
Wonderful uniforms and amazing Pan Am veterans with truly amazing stories!
A online video rarely makes me emotional, but this made me tear up.
Everyone looked great!! And the music in the background there was very cool!
When the World was younger, less populated, mysterious (Geographic Magazines) sparked interests and travel; very professional and expensive. I could imagine living in that interesting era. Wonderful food and services. I always wanted to be a stewardess but I didn’t. There were weight requirements but had met these. I was nervous on all the screening for interviews and language requirements. Wonderful for being dedicated. So eloquently presented
That was so wonderfully unorganized 😂
Very sweet and beautiful costumes. I don’t even know Panam but actually knew abt the „almost fashion trend“ around the uniforms.
Well done Ladies and Gentlemen
The absolute best and “most professional” uniforms in history of 121….
What a fabulous show! Thank you
Our pleasure!
Looks amazing I always did love those uniforms
Gosh these beautiful ladies still have it!👌🏻😍
Oh yes….The WorldPort was my second home@JFK………PAA took care of its people. In the WorldPort, there was a huge “crew lounge” that has 50-60 full length sofas with clean pillows and blankets that any Pilot or FA could use if you missed your flight home or needed to come to work the night before. They just “understood” ……..
Thanks……..PAA…A truly great Airline and GREAT PEOPLE……..RC
Beautiful and nice. it was truly interesting uniforms. it isnt like this anymore.
wow.. lots of pics that I just see here, from thousands of pan am's pics published on books or online... it's rare collection, I'd rather say private.. thanks for sharing...
Time of dignity, honour, respect
Not any more unfortunately
perfect
Charming.
Laura Ford looks great!
Is she the one I saw in the documentary about the 747? She was wearing like a bowler style hat and uniform? Did you see that one?.
To me, they will always be hostesses in the second class I fly in because I don’t want to waste four times as much to use fine China.
Dino's blazer is not double breasted.
Looking for the 1971 stewardess scarf.
Looking to cute.
And Southwest, American, and Delta have flight janitors.
junis joplin, janis
The thing is, no matter how romantic, chic and interesting life was back then, 80% or more of the population did not have any access to this world, because the plane tickets were too expensive back then.
It should be noted that Dino was not wearing a double breasted jacket.
Too bad we only saw most of the uniforms from the waist up.
Wish the presentation had been more thoroughly arranged and rehearsed. At times the pauses are too awkwardly long and the models walking in the front easily jam the runway and block the vision of the ones behind them…
I couldn’t agree more. This lacked any finesse and she stumbled through her script and slides. She also misnamed a piece of music. Considering this is supposed to be celebrating style it’s the most amateur thing I’ve ever seen

She also referred to the Boeing "304" Strato Liner rather than the 307.
