Going faceless is recently working really great on my second channel. I mean, I am just small content creator and I work really hard (I am also using a little bit of Famester, but I think that is a necessity nowadays). I just give all my videos small initial boost, and that caused them to spread out literally everywhere, bringing more and more organic views day after day.
Imagine that one day they, the AI, will influence the masses. Thousands of fake youtube channels runned by fake people with millions of fake subscribers pushing someone's agenda, and at that point you won't even be able tell what's real and not. It would be such a scary world, but what's more scary is that we may ALREADY live in one, we just don't know it yet...
It's a little depressing that this is going to be the future, for years RUclips felt a lot less "human" compared to how it used to be because of all the changes and removed features, so I guess it isn't much of a surprise that things would turn out this way, RUclips isn't really fun anymore. 2009-2012 was peak imo, I think things started going downhill ever since they forced Google+ on us (Don't know what RUclips was like during 2005-2008 so I can't say, but I have no doubt that I'd prefer that over current RUclips as well, but sadly I know that things will never be how they used to be)

In regards to reaction content, pretty much the entire process can be automated, from scraping a website for videos and content, to summarizing it with a voiceover and uploading it to youtube. If you pay attention, most of the reaction/explanation shorts with a slight monotone voiceover are AI generated.

Recording yourself reacting to viral videos is a much easier task than scraping, training and programming everything together to automate the whole thing. I think with how current AI works, the effort that goes behind trying to make AI videos "decent enough" is very impressive and takes much more technical skill than people realize, but the results are either passable or still not good enough.

Give it another 2 years and we'll see what you and Kwebbelkops stance is on it then, and where you think it'll be in the next two years.
