Let's forget the fact we all know it's trespassing and illegal. I'd like someone to figure out how this even happened?? When the "concerned citizen" aka crazy do-gooder or foamer called who knows who to report a "free rider" on this train.....why didn't the cops/train company employees or whoever was notified, why didn't they tell this guy- There ain't no way were gonna waste time and money stopping an entire train so we can try to collect a fine for trespassing from a guy who's probably penniless???? Hmmmm??? Where is common sense these days? God help this country where stupidity seems to run rampant.
honestly most people call because it's really dangerous, and if when these idiots fall off the train as it will happen eventually and if they live, they sue the railroad, if they die, their family will sue the railroad, but most of all it's traumatizing for the the crew, knowing they killed someone. so a lot of us call it in because the fact that the men and woman who work the railroad shouldn't have to go through that kind of agony and blaming themselves for something they couldn't control.
Many deaths occur because of illegal hitchers. And Railroad Police are there for a reason buddy. Trespassing on CSX trains let alone property is not only dangerous but VERY illegal. Think about it if you have any brains. If you trespass on someone's property in the USA do you think the homeowner is going to shoot you? Possibly. At least companies gently remove suspects, and not shoot them. They would get shot though if they were threatening the lives of Police or the community.
Where is the common sense these days? Do you even think? So you are fine with people breaking into your house and sleeping on your bed because its common sense to find the nearest house with a bed when sleepy? Hmmmm
Lets forget the fact???....... Oh really you are so ignorant. Lets forget the fact that terrorists taking over an aircraft have a bomb.... Just follow their instructions..... Ignorance is fatal, as many idiots trespassing on railroad property have found out when not even trying to commit suicide.
Actually as someone who has hoped trains and road a few miles,I prob have more respect for the road then some dimwit foamer getting on the tracks to take pictures. So go back to stroking your scanner antenna and leave riders alone.
It's sad that these folks have to "ride the rails" the way they did back in the Great Depression . Ridiculous numbers of homeless these days. The economy is totally in the shitter!
It isn't a thing you want to do in this day and age. Railroad Police aren't screwing around anymore in the age of terrorism. Criminal Trespassing charges are pretty serious nowadays.
It's a shame how people don't turn a blind eye to "innocent ornery-ness" like riding the rails anymore, but I also understand the railroad's zero tolerance for trespassers in this day and age. It's a F'ed up world we live in now.
Charlie Wants Cake check out stobe the hobo you will respect the word hobo after watching him. He used to ride trains like this until he sadly passed away in November of 2017
My son-in-law works for CSX and it does cause harm. Whenever someone is killed either by a collision with a car or someone getting hit by the train it has a very bad effect on the crew emotionally.
Must have been a recent train hopper because any experienced hobo knows that this type of train is not preferred to ride on I mean it's not even double stacked.

Justin Pinel There was a youtuber by the name of Hobo Stobe who died recently. Amtrak Acela..sneaky quiet trains when you are sitting drunk on the tracks. He found out the hard way!
Train riders are trespassing and subject to arrest . End of story. Some idiot train rider dies and the parents or whoever sue the train company because it’s on their property. Don’t know why this video was in my suggestions but seeing some of these idiotic comments made me chime in.
"Stay off the tracks. Forget it. Its a bum's world for a bum. You'll never be Emperor of the North Pole, kid. You had the juice, kid, but not the heart and they go together. You're all gas and no feel, and nobody can teach you that, not even A-No.1. So stay off the train, she'll throw you under for sure. Remember me for that."
I do not think that we should blame a Foamer. The filmer on the bridge was just being Captain Obvious. The train hopper was spotted on a camera placed elsewhere. Remember it takes a while to stop a train.
Actually, it was totally coincidence. I had no idea anything was amiss about this train, I just wanted to get the two trains passing each other from the angle of the bridge. I just happened to see the rider as he came into view. But yes, obviously someone, or some camera, saw him prior to this spot.
hawtchick69 let me ask you this. Did you fall asleep on a train and miss your destination. I was on a train one time and someone who fell asleep on the train asked me what stop it was and I told him the one after his destination and he had to probably waste more money going to his destination.

New to this topic and have read many comments on both sides. Trespassing aside, seriously who gives a fuk, If the railroad was that worried about people getting hurt they would build a fence or add cabooses back so the would have a safe car to ride in. They are going to jump on the train regardless of the law so you prevent it, make it safe or f-off and let people live and let live.
My uncle works RR, says it's more aggravation than help - if reported they have no choice but to stop the train - one reason they don't much like the rail fans.

had to finally mute replies and responses to this video. the mental instability being displayed by some who are attacking me (or others) with these completely non-sequitur arguments because they disagree with either someone else's stated opinion, or in my case, FACTS of law has gone beyond annoying. look - if you like to take pictures of trains - knock yourself out - I'm certainly not going to stop you. if you want to hang around train yards and trespass - no skin off my nose...when i was a KID, i used to do the same thing as i grew up near a railroad and would often watch them couple and uncouple cars. i once even hitched a ride in an empty box car - which looking back was pretty stupid. back then - i would have gotten an ear full had i been caught. today you'd stand a good chance of being arrested. also looking back, i am fortunate the train stopped in the next town 8 miles away and i was able to get a ride home from someone who knew me...for all i knew at the time, the train might not have stopped until Chicago or Milwaukee - now THAT would have been a fun call to my parents and explaining HOW i managed to get there... but hey 'foamers' - go take your pictures. have fun. but IF you get caught (i should say 'when' as odds are eventually it catches up to you) and they press charges (within their rights) because you are somewhere on private property you were not supposed to be and did not have permission to be, or, you get injured or lose a limb...no crying! time to move on now....

3090 and 9008 were pulling this juice train the train rider was on. Two SD70MAC's were pulling another juice train.
My guy was waaayyyy to close to the engine.
You'll never catch Shoestring coppers!
I guess he didn't buy a ticket. A new song for the Beatles, " He's doesn't have a ticket to ride. And he don't care."
Hmmmm
actually it's past a fine it's jail time it's a federal crime
Lets forget the fact???....... Oh really you are so ignorant.
Lets forget the fact that terrorists taking over an aircraft have a bomb.... Just follow their instructions..... Ignorance is fatal, as many idiots trespassing on railroad property have found out when not even trying to commit suicide.
Need more low priority trains, and a rusty colored blanket?
Why. They move slower and stop for priority trains. They also stop in the middle of nowhere for who knows how long.
Railroad police breaks Rule #1 - "Never step on or about the railhead" at 7:00

Nasty foamers get their rocks off calling in riders. Foamers are more of a menace then riders.
Charles Stark ya hope the fuzz burns in hel
Get a life troll
Actually as someone who has hoped trains and road a few miles,I prob have more respect for the road then some dimwit foamer getting on the tracks to take pictures. So go back to stroking your scanner antenna and leave riders alone.
Who's the bigger dimwit? The guy taking pics of the train from a safe distance or the guy trespassing on it?
Charles Stark what's a foamer lol
It's sad that these folks have to "ride the rails" the way they did back in the Great Depression . Ridiculous numbers of homeless these days. The economy is totally in the shitter!
It isn't a thing you want to do in this day and age. Railroad Police aren't screwing around anymore in the age of terrorism. Criminal Trespassing charges are pretty serious nowadays.
I heard it's a felony.
It's a shame how people don't turn a blind eye to "innocent ornery-ness" like riding the rails anymore, but I also understand the railroad's zero tolerance for trespassers in this day and age. It's a F'ed up world we live in now.
Some do it for the adventure not because they are a hobo.
Charlie Wants Cake check out stobe the hobo you will respect the word hobo after watching him. He used to ride trains like this until he sadly passed away in November of 2017
Tropicanna Choochoo!! The delays and cost to police services. I say, let them ride. They know the risks and they're not harming anyone.
they have to do it for the lawyers

My son-in-law works for CSX and it does cause harm. Whenever someone is killed either by a collision with a car or someone getting hit by
the train it has a very bad effect on the crew emotionally.
My uncle is a conductor and it puts a toll on ya
I think.any human being who has not hardened thier heart has concern for a feller riding on a train illegally. Its not safe, nor fair.
He probably wanted some juice from the train. PS: Very dangerous thing to do!
Who could notice that guy in the well car, only from above... Nice story in comment section, and the video! Brought up some good topics! ✔️🤔👍👍👍👍👍👍💙
thx!
Bridge Snitch got this guy. 😆
Probably
I highly dislike foamers
Me too, by and large Foamers are a bunch of brainwashed asshats. 9 out of 10 times they're the ones contacting the Police and ratting out the hobos.
That was more than likely a worker a bull
Must have been a recent train hopper because any experienced hobo knows that this type of train is not preferred to ride on I mean it's not even double stacked.
trentcreek then that person was either to quick to hitch a ride or he does not know jack about train hopping. Either way he's still inexperienced now isn't he.
assuming from the OP this is the former B&O in baltimore: clearances at the howard st tunnel dont allow for double stacks .
trentcreek some but definitely not all
Justin Pinel There was a youtuber by the name of
Hobo Stobe who died recently. Amtrak Acela..sneaky quiet trains when you are sitting drunk on the tracks.
He found out the hard way!

Cool Tropicana cars, mate! 👍👍
Thank you 👍
Surprised there was only one freight hopper on that mile long train.......
The others know how to stay outta site
@@BaltimoreAndOhioRR I'd wager the other train.
Should have got on nearer the back of the train! 🤦🏻♂️

rule #1 never fall asleep on a train
Ha you can if it’s night. If it’s daylight you and a friend need yo switch off who watches.
Only if you are on a freight train that you shouldn’t hop on. On a passenger train it depends on the length of where you are going.
Oh I sleep better on a train than at home or in an 18 wheeler rolling west. lol
Ronnie Bishop bro haha 😂❤️
hawtchick69 let me ask you this. Did you fall asleep on a train and miss your destination. I was on a train one time and someone who fell asleep on the train asked me what stop it was and I told him the one after his destination and he had to probably waste more money going to his destination.
Got empties goin one way and loads goin the other. Nice catch.
Thanks 👍 yep!
well... not everyone is rich enough to spend their entire life savings on a 70 mile amtrak trip... sometimes you have no choice
Also, was this I031 or I032?
i think rider was on q031 and q032 sitting back there.
Ohh this video was quite a few years ago, I wonder if theyve changed the train IDs since then. I recently went on a trip riding CSX I031, another tropicana/IM train, very similar to what this dude was riding@@BaltimoreAndOhioRR
@@slserenader yes, they changed the symbols. Did you ride through here?

TOOT TOOT - HOBO GOT THE BOOT. NOW HE SITTING IN JAIL - GOT NO MONEY FOR THE BAIL.
They put them in jail?
New to this topic and have read many comments on both sides. Trespassing aside, seriously who gives a fuk, If the railroad was that worried about people getting hurt they would build a fence or add cabooses back so the would have a safe car to ride in. They are going to jump on the train regardless of the law so you prevent it, make it safe or f-off and let people live and let live.
or how about removing them when they do?
BaltimoreAndOhioRR it's counterproductive.
My uncle works RR, says it's more aggravation than help - if reported they have no choice but to stop the train - one reason they don't much like the rail fans.
Officer, I just am trying to ship myself to Canada!

had to finally mute replies and responses to this video. the mental instability being displayed by some who are attacking me (or others) with these completely non-sequitur arguments because they disagree with either someone else's stated opinion, or in my case, FACTS of law has gone beyond annoying. look - if you like to take pictures of trains - knock yourself out - I'm certainly not going to stop you. if you want to hang around train yards and trespass - no skin off my nose...when i was a KID, i used to do the same thing as i grew up near a railroad and would often watch them couple and uncouple cars. i once even hitched a ride in an empty box car - which looking back was pretty stupid. back then - i would have gotten an ear full had i been caught. today you'd stand a good chance of being arrested. also looking back, i am fortunate the train stopped in the next town 8 miles away and i was able to get a ride home from someone who knew me...for all i knew at the time, the train might not have stopped until Chicago or Milwaukee - now THAT would have been a fun call to my parents and explaining HOW i managed to get there... but hey 'foamers' - go take your pictures. have fun. but IF you get caught (i should say 'when' as odds are eventually it catches up to you) and they press charges (within their rights) because you are somewhere on private property you were not supposed to be and did not have permission to be, or, you get injured or lose a limb...no crying!
time to move on now....
Youre comment makes no sense. "Foamers" and train riders are not the same thing. Your post seems to be directed at foamers who take pics, yet you explain all the lawful pitfalls of and bad consequences of riding on trains. Pick a side!

Aww, people who hitch trains just want a free ride man, it's not like they're planning to blow it up or steal anything..
That's right. Just a free ride. Well, of course they break into automobile cars and tear things up. They shit in the locomotive cabs. They open up containers in transit. but yeah, just a free ride.
Tea Drinking God a free ride is all fun and good, but what happens if the rider misses his jump onto the hopper car? His leg gets caught in between the couplers and lose their foot and then the rest of his body gets ran over by the 40,000 pound Hopper? Think of the railroaders who have to clean up that gruesome s , who have to live with that for the rest of their lives knowing that someone died trespassing on their train. What's going to happen if the family finds out that their loved one is now dead because he was train hopping? They're going to sue the hell out of the railroad even though it was the stupid dead idiot's fault that he was trespassing on Railroad property and now the railroad is going to lose a shit ton of money which will interfere with the shipping of goods and freight to the country, which in turn will starve the nation. All cuz of some idiot wanting to train hop
