@Dusty Bee's tbh I would put lord of the rings in the bad category. What does the name tell you, it's about someone who is a lord and about a ring? It's probably set in medieval times considering it mentions a lord. If you have 0 other knowledge of the title it sounds like a small intimate story focused on one person, since he's a lord maybe the story has to do with his life as a lord, leading an estate or supervising a small town in a feudal setting. There is nothing to suggest fantasy, or the epic nature of the world/tale. No hints at magic or mystery.
It only becomes a epic and masterful name because of a epic and masterful story. On its own with no other reference its a pretty dismal title imo.

As someone who has only watched game of thrones and read his dark materials and doesn't know anything about any of these fantasy titles. So I thought I could actually be the perfect man to answer which of these titles are the ones that works best and give you my take:
    1) A song of ice and fire (yes it's one of the only ones i know about but it's easily the best one because it's a poetic title that doesn't feel too geeky, it's a very welcoming title to new readers of fantasy)
    2) The wheel of time (it's a very easy title that could offer meaning to some, is it sci fi or fantasy, it feels like lost, but it's avery intriging title without feeling too geeky.)
    3) His dark materials (again a title that is simple and feels very personal with the his (not too nerdy for newcomers) but we are starting to get a lot of consonants
    4) Forgotten realms (not too much to say, it's enticing and easy with the tongue)
    5) mostly tie in that order between the stormlight archives and the kingkiller chronicles (they both have their positives but both of them have their flaws as they don't roll off the tongue as well with too many consonants), they titles might feel too nerdy for new to the medium while wheel of time and a song of ice and fire feel much more simple and poetic, but these titles do garner interest compared tot he others.
As for the foundation trilogy and shades of magic series, i don't love it to be honest. Never heard of them but they don't feel the most welcoming ones like the five others. The second one is too dungeon and dragons with magic in the title.

Farseer trilogy makes a lot more sense after reading the books and knowing what the reference is, that being said the series is not a trilogy (there are nine books in the main entries) and the entire series name is "Realm of the Elderlings" which is not very inventive either way but at least way better then "The Farseer Trilogy". I'd be interested in if your opinion of the name changes after reading the series.
