- ChatGPT is the most popular AI in the world, but how does it work? In this 5 minute video, we'll build a simple version of ChatGPT in under 40 lines of Python code to better understand it! Our version of ChatGPT will be called ElonGPT, trained to act just like Elon Musk, so that I can ask him if he will give me a free ride to Mars! ChatGPT was built in 3 steps, generative pre-training to learn English, supervised fine-tuning to learn dialogue, and reinforcement learning from human feedback to improve its dialogue capability. We'll go through each, step by step. The code that i use in the video is below!

GOOD to see the SRI raj back from depression to his old AI tutorial master self .............. YAY we can expect to see more AI tutorials from SRI raj now
He came back to us through a quantum door!
True, i like this guys energy when he explains stuff in a very good and direct way! One of the best out there!
I wish you can teach everything I want to learn❤😅 you are divinely blessed with this skill
Keep moving dear.. All the very best 😘
Beautiful. You’re making seemingly very complex terms and concepts super easy to digest. Let’s give this a try now…
Agree with everyone else 💯 very well explained 👏 👍 👌 😀
So good to have you back Siraj!!! Interested as well in finetuning for domain adaptation as a substitute for pre-training, and what your views are on that.
this is sick
Great video Siraj.
Attention is all you need.
Beast
Siraj where should I start to learn a lot of the stuff you know?
My RUclips videos! It’s like my digital brain of everything I’ve learned about AI, it’s pretty much all evergreen, except for recurrent networks
Amazing! Glad to see you back
cool :D
Super thanks for this!! Very useful tool, and code!!
We need google in three minutes
really really nice, thanks very much for this one
Were the video code examples generated by GPT?
Hi siraj.. Please do robot tutorials,, robotics, physics and AI please.. Because ONLY U can make them even more simpler and easier!
Wow. 🔥🔥🤩
What are the benefits of using gpt-2 vs other open source models? (i.e. opt-175b)
Smaller size, sometimes faster inference. But if you can handle more, go for bigger
@@SirajRaval thanks for the reply!
this is super digestible and easy to understand.
bruv you really made the openai team who worked on ChatGPT look like idiots haha, love the video so much.
Omg you invented chatgpt too??
Hi
Yes, i want more
Hello why did you copy my name
pretrained is just trained
Yeah I disagree with a lot of their naming conventions
Input 👏 times weight 👏 add a bias 👏 activate 👏
this is my result : "a real person If I said to my wife, she said to me, I said to her, I said to her, I said to her, I said to her, I said to her, I said to her, I said to her, I said to her, I said to her, I said to her, I said to her, I said to her, I said to her, I said to her, I said to her, I said to her, I said " - just I don't get it?
Hmm try re-training it and make sure it’s using gpt-2 weights
