I also have a suggestion for the next comparison. How about the CAT CT 680 vs CAT CT 681, International HX-520 vs Navistar or GMC MH 9500 VS the Brigadier? I would love to see these
I always use the loadstar for scouting even tho it isn't the best truck in mud or it's sometimes tippy and it has a small fuel tank... but when you slap it in high gear it starts eating the terrain at a great speed which will oftenly make you forget that it has a small fuel tank and no mud tires
Eh, I'm still early on with the h2 being my best official scout. So I just use the cat 745 to go everywhere unless it's a cargo mission. Given that even paved roads turn into a swamp every couple hundred meters, might as well stick to something that doesn't care about it.
I think it would be interesting for you to make a comparative video of the Cat 680 and Cat 681, I think the two are very similar, so I think it would be interesting, but a scout that I really like is the International loadstar, despite being very big, it is very strong and I think it's great for exploration

Now I have a question for you or rather like a video idea I'm in the situation that I am in Taymir and going with the Tayga+sideboard bed with a 4slot ramped attached, doing the Radioactive fossils mission and I've already delivered 2 secure container out of 6. The big question is wich is worth, putting 4 cargo on the ramped and leave the sideboard empty OR 2 on the sideboard and 2 on the ramped. Because with the phisics this game has i can imagine it making a difference but dies it make any, and if is for the good or bad???
There's not that much point to play the Chevy anymore, if you have the Khan. The khan just smack the Chevy, that's kinda sad. Nothing else to say except great video as always.
In my opinion, the Marshall is probably the best scout. It has big tires, a big engine, a pre-installed snorkel, and a cool custom livery to top it all off
and smallest fuel tank in entire game with no ability to hook trailer even if there's a trailer hook present on its bumper...they really nerfed the hell out of it but it's still very good scout.
The Sentinel seems like a more dedicated light scout truck, while the CK1500 is more suited to a utility role. Personally, if I could bring one, I'd take the Sentinel, as I don't use my scouts for recovery all that much

Chevy pickup is good for dirt and roads, Khan jeep with oversized tires is great for snow and mud but can't haul trailers, Hummer H2 is a decent heavy scout for saving smaller scouts if you can get good tires for it... And the Pacific P12 can do just about everything a scout can do aside from various challenges: Tackle mud and swamp hauling a 5-point cargo semi-trailer, plow through hard terrain to reach odd locations, and scare scores of birds by honking.
I'd have to say the F750 still reigns supreme, it's not the greatest in performance and whatnot but it has an absurd and unbeatable range of operation.
Over all I would have had less problems paying extra for the Kahn Sentinel than for the Apache. The Sentinel would made a solid alternative choice for a starting scout and it doesn't seem to try to be anything more to where the Apache is just a crippled Yar 87 dressed up, and thirsty, as a party bus. Not that the Apache is all bad, but reaching lvl 10 is not hard, the Yar is quite cheap and is already quite capable in it's stock condition.
Scout vehicles are for exploration, not for pulling stuff. Besides, who uses these vehicles for scouting and exploration when you can simply use a good offroad truck. You can do everything with that, except one small and irrelevant situation. There are some places programed to force you to use small vehicles to get there, with big rocks that keep the big trucks away.
@@SD1ONE i know, i was just saying, the small scouts are useful just for that purpose, otherwise, scout class isn't all the useful. I like how the Bandit can load up small scouts in it's sideboard addon so easily in stock format, no engine or winch upgrades.
Chevy has more space than knan, it's a shame that addon. And in my opinion the weigh of scout vehicles in general is too high. The best scout vehicles are truck!!!!!

Ever since i got the Tatratin it’s been my go to scout for more or less diving blindly into undiscovered parts of the maps
you should try mods...there're very good mods available even for consoles too.

Scout is too tippy
The scout 800 does have a bit of a Tipping problem by it's easily corrected if you put the roof rack on it
The scout is much better in stock form but when they're both modded I don't know.
Late comment, but I found the Scout 800 to be to top heavy for Michingan. But it's great for Alaska, less bumps there that can tip you over.

I use new Sentinel in Amur and it's doing ok imo. I scouted entire Urska and Cosmodrome with it.
The reason why the Chevy is better at pulling could be because of the Smaller tires? More Torque
They both suck 😅 They can be okay in Michigan or so, but in Amur the only usable scouts are Tatarin and Yar.
do not forget about zizk 605r it's pretty good scout too. especially for Amur

I like Khan Marshall (lifted Russian Jeep), it has its shortcomings but still I like it
