The Raptor and the driver (his first time, but you couldnt tell because he had a great understanding for the truck's capabilities) did fantastic. Seeing this truck up close with the suspension setup and articulation for a rig this size was really impressive! Great video angles depicted as well! The Raptor is welcome to wheel with us anytime!
It's getting gorgeous with every coming gen
That suspension travel!!!
Thanks for sharing. I have a Gen 1 and have a Gen 3 ordered. We also have a built 2017 JKUR Hard Rock that is built out for the trails here in Colorado and spend most summer weekends off pavement. It is great to see the Raptor in stock form out playing with the built rigs and doing well. Our order is the 37 package and I look forward to running some of our favorite trails.
I find it counterproductive that the truck has running boards yet no Bed liner.
That truck did amazing.
Probably no wheel liner either, companies saved billions by stop putting them in
You can order the bed liner... Most trucks do not come with them....
I got a 21 raptor and live about an hour away from rausch creek. Ive been meaning to go there for awhile now but its good to see how well the truck performed. Thanks for the video!
That Raptors awesome !
Добрый день. Мы по такой дороге в отпуск едем и обратно возвращаемся, через перевал, уральские горы. Хорошая машинка Раптор!!!!!
Please make high speed off-road test videos too ( Baja style )
Questo è andicappato forte!!!! Comprati una anda!
Impressive vehicle and engineering! Would be nice to have one as a toy. If you do, you are blessed. No thanks on those type of trails tho. They’ll wear a vehicle and body out. But fun to watch. Thanks!
The high speed stuff is a lot more fun all around! Even my family enjoys it.
I romp rock trails like that at 40mph+ (the rock stuff, not the articulating stuff) If it breaks, I'll fix it, it's worth it.... Nothing has broken in 45,000 miles though.
You know what doesn't wear off? Prius!
@@lemmetellyousomething679 haha nice one. But the battery has a set expiration date
The truck doesn't 360° camera system package to see your surroundings?
Will Ford add one man to you to direct you when you buy the truck? 😂
Good content👍
don vehicle..🔥🔥🔥🔥
Any videos on extreme muddy timber roads?
Why would you need a spotter for this? 😂
So you don't high center... realize the raptor has a relatively long wheel base compared to a jeep or 4runner.
@@alextran8188 I wheel a gladiator and don’t need a spotter, before that I used my F-150 which is longer than this Raptor and didn’t need one.
THIS road is in SAN FRancisco???
It would be WAY more fun if this was a SuperCab.
Ford raptor 2021
Can you go to the off-road park alone or do you need to be in a group
Where I come from we call that normal Offroad.
Was the driver being to aggressive with the gas pedal ? Should always be slow and steady not gassing it unless u really need to. I wonder if that’s the nature of the truck electronic pedal and turbos.? Just a question, otherwise good shot for his first time if that’s what it was.
I guess it's a driver's error..
Driver issue. This truck can creep.. I have a 17, very easy to crawl...
Whats the water wading depth on this F150 Raptor?
Where is this trail located?
US and A.
That’s not the one with the 37 package right? Kinda hard to tell but those tires look like 35s
Looks like 35s to me, plus no Raptor 37 graphics (which can be factory deleted but most are not). The 35s actually have greater flex/articulation than the Raptor 37. For this type of use the 35s are not a penalty.
Yep 35s. For the 37 package the rear tires aren't allowed get tucked in that much on a full flex like the one in this video.
What is the trail name?
Why aren't the marker lights on the Raptor on? That's weird.
They only come on when you turn the headlight switch to the park light position and or headlight position
No sé como es que esta auto es tan bueno, pasa los obstáculo, las curvas, los hoyos todo fácil. Uf este auto me sirve muy bien para lo que lo necesito, el único problema es no poder pagarlo.😂😂
does this damage the truck?
No
Of course it does, when raptors first came out, there were multiple frames that bent, ford had to re engineer
@@titirititiri6360 Those 1st Gen Raptor frames bent from jumps... and not small ones either. This type of trail driving will absolutely not damage the truck. The only damage that could have happened here was some scraps on those running boards and possibly some superficial paint scratches from low hanging branches.
@@PeakDecline did you watch the videos? Wasn’t a jump, it was a cattle guard dip. Glad they fixed the weak frame issues.
And why would anyone take a $70k truck off road with only 15” of travel?
Better to get a used truck for $30k and do a +3” long travel, then you can truly jump it with out the Bent frame issues and zero payments
Of course not.
I want to it but I can't buy 😥😥😥🙏
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👏👏👏👏👏👏
офроуд ? серьезно ? да я бы там на своей девяточке проехал !!
Raptor should be flat out in the open not slow and scrubbing on rocks.
Can a regular sport xlt f150 go through that? You think 4x4
Stock may take some time to get you through that. Modified with tires and level or slight lift would make it easier.
For that level trail, at a minimum I would add;
New shocks and leveling coilovers. Bilstein 6112/5160 combo will give the best bang for buck.
Icons fox 2.0's or kings are better but cost more.
new upper control arms. BDS will give you the best bang for your buck
Again, better will cost much more.
skid plates
33 inch K02's (KM3's are better for this trail but K02's is a better all around tire for a daily driven truck and will still work)
If you had good tires I think you could, no other modifications needed, would certainly help though.
My input would be I would NOT take my stock FX4 XLT (2017 5.0) on that trail and expect to "enjoy" the ride haha. I now have the fox 2.5 DSC front and rear with remote reservoirs and 35"x12.5" Toyo Open Country M/T along with a complete bumper delete with a new Addictive Desert Designs Venom R bumper with additional wheel well modifications and would have an absolute blast. I would definitely want more meat on the sidewalls that the standard tires on the FX4 package just don't offer.
where is this place??
Rausch Creek Off Road Park in PA
What was the camera guy/person riding in?
Ram Power Wagon
@@4x4OffRoadChannel Just what I thought.
Now this is offroading. I see too many American offroad videos and they say it's rough but it's basically flat or mildly rocky and they take a jeep or something. If they ever see how Aussies go offroading they should be embarrassed. I'm happy people spend over 100k but use it for what it's worth instead of being on the road all the time.
The spotter is annoying AF
Ik I was looking for a comment like this I was just about to write my own just let the drive do his damn thing it’s not that hard of off-roading all I hear is passenger drive no slightly passenger no I mean driver
No Bronco ‘
driver. driver. other driver.
What’s the point of this ?
The point of these videos is to show how these vehicles perform in off-road conditions, with special attention given to articulation, throttle control, brake modulation, suspension setip....setups.... though driver skill level makes this a variable in terms of consistent performance, these videos do give a general idea of how they perform against one another on the same trails under the same conditions, and usually with similar tires....
fuel is cheap, gotta do something with it. i mean you could go hiking or paddle a canoe, or do it with a truck and eat a burger at the same time. win win.
Some people have too much money?! City boys playing in the woods with their new toys.(1st time offroading?)
Na, 90% of them just cheat and borrow the money from a bank
forbid someone uses it like its meant to be used. forbid someone trying off-roading for the first time. 🙄
@@AwkwardYet Gatekeeping at it's finest.
That 3” suspension travel that ford makes is nice.
No jk
Not funny.
It’s disappointing how they are building stuff now days and getting more money for it then they ever dreamed of.
Good for ford? Not they should build good sh_t bc they are getting paid to do it.
I’m just on a rant.
Where is the v8 for raptor, this ecoboost for school girls..
🤦♂️
You would think after ford took over 30 billion in government bail outs and subsidies that there $80k truck would at least have long travel +2
**Their**
@@ponce1890 thank you Mondo, for the English grammar lesson, your intelligence is vastly superior to that of mine. Perhaps our government should have given English courses, in lieu of domestic auto manufactures (the big 3) over one hundred billion.

The spotter is a fing clown. The driver did not even listen and did just fine. I just stopped watching.
Súper lento esperaba mas agilidad y velocidad para lo que dicen ser esos autos
Very bad driver 🌚
