- In this short video we chronicle the process of taking an old log of cherry wood and turning it into a salad bowl with matching salad tongs. The bowl was carved using only hand tools. If you have any questions, I’m happy to answer them in the comments below!

Amazing bowl! I have one question though, what kind of adze do you use?
Thank you! I have a few but the two main blacksmiths are Hans Karlsson and Jason Lonon. If you’re interested I discuss some of the tools in my longer “how to carve a wooden bowl” series of videos

Thank you! The adze I use is made by Jason Lonon, if you google him you should be able to see lots of great tools. I also have some longer videos explaining the tools if you click on our profile!

Hi Matthew, yes, absolutely! We are in transition to a new property so probably more “how to build raised beds” “now to set up irrigation” type videos this year but eventually the garden will be MUCH bigger. Thanks for following along!
