The Buddha spoke the truth about life and our universe.
Diamond Sutra said: Phenomena is an illusion, a dream , an emptiness, nothing can be had.
Our true self nature has no phenomena.
Phenomena outside the true nature has no identity or ownership.
Phenomena and Emptiness is one not two.
If sentient beings have attachment to emptiness without true understanding then there is nothing for the Buddha to teach us.
Without phenomena the Buddha can't teach sentient beings.
When sentient beings have attachment to existence the Buddha will speak about emptiness.
After educating the sentient beings, the Buddha then reminded us phenomena is a manifestation from our Alaya. (false mind)
From worldly perspective, phenomena is real, you can see , can feel and can use it.
From principal, phenomena is an emptiness. Therefore we use it but without any attachment to them.
Attachment will give rise to afflictions.
Awakened to the truth, one will not have any attachment to existence and emptiness.
    🙏🙏🙏 Amitabha Buddha

Thank you for sharing these profound reflections on the Buddha's teachings, particularly from the Diamond Sutra. You've beautifully articulated the essence of the Buddha's wisdom: the understanding that all phenomena are ultimately empty of inherent existence, like illusions or dreams. This teaching on emptiness (Śūnyatā) is central to realizing the nature of reality.
As you noted, phenomena and emptiness are one, not separate. They are two sides of the same coin, and it’s only our attachment to them-either as real or as non-existent-that leads to suffering and confusion. When we cling to phenomena, thinking they are solid and permanent, we suffer. When we misunderstand emptiness, seeing it as a void or negation, we miss the opportunity for wisdom and compassion.
The Buddha skillfully teaches sentient beings according to their attachments. When we are too attached to existence, he speaks of emptiness to loosen that grip. But when emptiness itself becomes a misunderstanding or attachment, the Buddha teaches how both emptiness and phenomena are interdependent, both part of a greater truth.
By using phenomena without attachment, as you highlighted, we live in the world but are not bound by it. This is the path to awakening, to see things as they are, free from delusion.
May we all continue to deepen our understanding of this wisdom and walk the path with clarity and compassion.
      🙏🙏🙏 Amitabha Buddha.

@@MindPodcastEnglishPhenomena is a manifestation of our mind and it is an illusion.
Many can understand this statement. Very few can believe that nothing is real (including our body).
If you truly believe life is a dream and nothing can be had, then you are a rare person. You won't waste time again arguing or competing. You will accord with the flow in your surroundings.
The next thing I would strongly recommend for you is to chant the Buddha-name Amitabha Buddha 30000 times a day.
You can chant silently or be mindful, whether sitting, walking, etc or works that do not require you to think, you are practicing meditative concentration.
You will be able to attain the true benefits of the Buddha's Teachings.
      What is the true benefits?
      Your wisdom will unfold.
      🙏🙏🙏 Amitabha Buddha
