Let me tell you a short story. I am a 62-year-old man from Mexico, in 2018 I was in the state of San Luis Potosi for work reasons, one night some colleagues and friends invited me to a bar because a new band was going to perform. The place was small for maybe 150 people. Full of rockers and metalheads. When these girls came out, the first thing I thought was: how is it possible that their parents allow these teenagers to play in these places, (of course their parents were there) I must admit that we were skeptical when they started playing. After 3 or 4 songs we were completely hypnotized, as if we had been bewitched, how was it possible for those girls to play such good rock. From that day on, I follow their story and their music without fail.
I love that story! If you don't mind I would like to post this comment in a future episode. Thanks for taking the time to watch this video. I am working on episode 3 right now.
I heard of The Warning about three years ago, and meant to check them out. But it wasn't until they were featured on The Charismatic Voice where Elizabeth analysed Evolve that I actually discovered them. I immediately went to their video of Evolve, then Choke, and I haven't stopped digging the rabbit hole since. I grew up with the music of the 1970s and '80s, with a healthy retrospective of the '60s thrown in (Hendrix, Joplin, Cream, etc), and The Warning is the band I've been waiting for 25 years and more to come along. I've been to see them live twice this past year (London and Dublin), and will see them again in London next April. Classic rock music with a wide blend of influences, a genius song writer in Pau, a front woman in Dany who is up there with the absolute best of the last six or seven decades, and a savant bass player in Ale. Their growth over even just the last two years has been a joy to watch, and they have the potential to be absolute legends of rock in the coming years. Of course, they're already legends to their many fans!
I am so glad TCV did that video and so glad you saw it. Thank you for watching my video I hope someone will discover them because of me. That would be so cool.
Thank You Sir. I am Subscribed and I am all in. I discovered The Warning about a year ago and can not get enough. The Tedx Talks 2016,2017 Made me a fan for life, and I support anything these fine people choose to do. ⚡ ⚡ ⚡ THANK YOU ⚡ ⚡ ⚡
I’m 80 and I discovered The Warning in a similar manner. I was watching something else and that thumbnail popped up. I had 3 grand nephews who formed a rock trio and it was cute. I figured these little girls would be much the same. Holy s..t I was blown away! I started looking for other things they had posted and have never stopped. That was 4 years ago. As much as I like their music and performances it is them that I follow. They seem to be just delightful young persons who I would love to be friends with. I saw and met them in Portland Oregon in 2022. It was a wonderful night and treasure the memories. Good luck on your journey. I’ll be following.
Thank you taking the time to watch this video, I got to meet them in Sept in Baltimore, such nice ladies. I have 3 videos from that show, I was right in front of Ale, great show.
Like a lot of people, I saw the "viral video" and then thought nothing more about them for a few years. Then I found myself a couple years later working at home; I was in the process of shutting down my small business in preparation of moving out of state. One afternoon, sitting in front of the computer (tired of running my accounting software), I randomly wondered "what ever happened to those girls who did the "Enter Sandman" video?? After a quick RUclips search, I first watched the TedX talks, and discovered I, too, had fallen down "the rabbit hole". I joined Patreon almost immediately after that, and spend most of my time rather quiet there - but it's a wonderful community, and the ladies have kind of consumed the lives of my wife and I the past several years. I've got nearly 1200 songs on my SD card in my car stereo, and probably spend 80% of the play time listening to _The Warning_ . While I don't ignore other artists, pretty much all of them are nowhere near as interesting or imaginative as this band. I'm incredibly glad I "discovered" them years ago... they make me hopeful for the future of music in this world.
Any band artist appreciates how tight they are in their first video. To simply get through an entire piece without faltering at some point is an achievement in any young band. So impressive.
