I would have liked the knight deck to win since it was really strong the whole game. Comboing out with 2 cards of which one is your commander... I think it was meh
Oh man that was such a nice game :D I love to watch you playing commander, your videos are high quality. I'm playing magic since 3 years and I learned so much from you about commander, which is my favourite format at the time
Yeah, COVID-19 has really changed a lot of things. We debated going only virtual for our games for a time, but at the request of the players ultimately moved back to in person recording--with appropriate protection--for as long as it is safe to do so. As far as playing during the pandemic, I do know there are a lot of online pods available via webcam, but I also understand that it doesn't feel the same.
If this is in reference to around 11:40 , Danny actually shuffled around the Greaves to his Valiant Knight to equip, and since there were no interactions from the table, I summarized it! Sorry for any confusion!
so many mistakes in this game. Devin should have won but he kept not using his hydra to pin and damage on Sir Gwyn when she kept reequiping. every time the boots came off of her to put another equip he could have pinned her to death. in fact everyone could have killed her but kept assuming there is no response time. Im glad Spencer won because sir gwyn was getting away with alot of things that wouldnt happen at another casual table lol but overall great game and had me biting my nails :p
For some reason it is very difficult to win with Syr Gwyn She could deal a lot of damage and be threatening but falls short at the end game every time i play her
I love Gwyn as a Commander, but I find it faces the problem many Aggro EDH commanders do--they burn out quickly. A lot of the games I've seen with more Aggro-slanted Commanders lead to one or two players getting eliminated with Commander damage, before another player finds removal for the threats! All in all, I still think Aggro is a great archetype, but I think how boom or bust it can be in Commander leads a lot of players to focus more heavily on combo and control!
@@TheCommanderGuys Im more of a combo player with commanders like Anje, Estrid, and Mirko Vosk. Syr Gwyn was my first attempt on an agro voltron deck. So far it went through a bunch of iterations and now it has become dangerously strong. So my friends are running the transforming Ixalan land that removes her from combat.
I have a vito deck that doesnt run exquisite blood because you lose points in my league for using a infinity combo. I played a massacre wurm and accidentally killed myself and everybody else lol
I can't completely speak for Devin, but I think his mindset was to save two creatures back as blockers to survive another round--since he didn't know about Embercleave. But yeah, normally the correct path forward will be to swing for the fences.
That was just an honest mistake on Danny's part. I can promise you he's been given many a hard time about it though :D Sorry for the confusion that inevitably caused!
I love how clear the board is. Excellent video team!
Thank you very much! You are definitely an inspiration to the two of us, so it is nice to hear that from you!
I'm hearing andrew's voice while reading the comment 🤣
Man, that victory out of nowhere, mannnn, that made my day.... excellent game and video btw
I'm glad to hear it! When I saw the Hail Mary victory in this one, I new we had a winner of a game.

I LOVE your "player select" music. These videos are so high quality.
Thank you! It took some time to settle on a theme, but I think we're finally there!
I love your choice of effects!! Stand master, FF, and the life counters. So awesome. Great narration too. Clear and concise.
Thank you, very much! I do my damndest to pick appropriate choices, so the appreciation is appreciated :D
The deck intros are SO COOL!
Thank you! After a lot of hemming and hawing, I think we've finally found an intro set-up we like!
Grayson is definitely a grumgrully lol good video guys
Yeah! And thanks Rocco, I hope you're doing well with all the craziness in the world!
@@matttheeditor8258 you guys are da bomb, yet it's crazy over here but soon maybe I'll be able to make a guest appearance loool
I really love how smooth the gameplay and board! Keep it up guys, I cannot believe i just found this hidden gem
The ending be hitting hard
Thank you!
Great game as always
Also; that Facebook imitation had me dying
Thank you! Not to toot my own horn, but I thought it was a pretty good joke. :D
First video I've seen, but I like the visual and cohesion. Also that player/deck profile!
Thank you very much! It's taken us awhile to settle on a format we like, but I think we're finally 95% there!
Oh man that was such a nice game :D

i discovered your channel recently, currently binging. your explanations and display effects are very clear. reminds me of mtg muddstah. loving it.
Sees the stat indicator for each deck
Is that a JoJo reference?
yare yare
That ending was amazing. XD
Thank you! I agree completely!
Lessons learned: respect the Vito 😬🙌🏽😂
Yeah, it was really great to see!
14:46 that’s embereth shieldbreaker showcase if I’m not mistaken
Wow, that's definitely Embereth Shieldbreaker, I guess I just had a brain skip for that, my apologies!
I wish I could play some Commander with cool guys like you, but the world seems to be closed off entirely. Hopefully things get better soon.

Love the new deck intros
Thank you! I'm pretty proud of them at this point!
I like the JOJO and smash brothers references
Thank you very much!
Hahahaha wow what a way to win that was a great game guys.
I think the ending definitely helped make this game! Thank you very much!
That ending though
Oh yeah, it's one of the main reasons this game ended up on the channel! :D
Just found your channel today. Got my sub. Great work!
Welcome aboard! Thank you! :D
Fantastic ending!
Thank you very much!
Who knew a game without blue would be more interesting kek
We try to feature a mix of everything, because we definitely know the stigma around blue!
@@matttheeditor8258 yeah lol, name one person who enjoys getting counterspelled hahaha blue will blue
Great video.
Thank you! :D
Just shows how strong sacrifice decks can be 😂
Excellent game play 🙄🙄🙄🙄
Thank you, very much!
That laugh was annoying but so very awesome. That was about how I felt when he did what he did
I tried to cut the volume on his laugh a little bit because of how loud it was, but I definitely think the moment was worth keeping!
Did he equip his commander while it had a lightning greaves on it?
If this is in reference to around 11:40 , Danny actually shuffled around the Greaves to his Valiant Knight to equip, and since there were no interactions from the table, I summarized it! Sorry for any confusion!
Casting finale with Nikya out?
I double checked and Nikya ending up dying to the second resolution of Fleshbag Marauder, so Devin was good to go on Finale!
@@TheCommanderGuys my bad sorry ^^

Why didnt Devin attack with everything after the Finale??? If you going to cast with X +10 you should try to win the game...
I can't completely speak for Devin, but I think his mindset was to save two creatures back as blockers to survive another round--since he didn't know about Embercleave. But yeah, normally the correct path forward will be to swing for the fences.
Idk why he runs not a single creature for trample, in a deck that literally wants almost only creatures
so syr gwyn gets protection from red from sword of sinew and steel... how can he equip embercleave ? CHEATER ! ... but else the video was funny
