Yeah, I actually checked in with Spencer recently because he has had some terrible luck with mana-screw lately. Let this serve a cautionary tale to keep an eye on how tacky your sleeves have become, lol! :D
you probably dont care at all but does anyone know of a trick to log back into an instagram account? I somehow forgot my login password. I appreciate any tricks you can give me!
Green Storm Stompy is a thing! Makes me consider switching Goreclaw from the 99 to the commander of my current much-fun green stompy deck just to see... Easy and enjoyable to watch; thanks!
This is definitely one of Michael's pet decks, and I'm glad he finally got a chance to show it off on the channel! I'm sure he'll be glad to hear he's converted someone else over to Goreclaw! :D
Man a board wipe was really needed this game. After getting smacked so many times by mono green decks I love seeing their face when they go all out and then you just Fog.
Oh yeah, that was my impression of the game as well. Unfortunately neither Danny nor Spencer drew one, and Devin certainly wasn't going to use the one he had on board before Michael's turn started! :D
I can try and get in a few more games with Spencer's Damia deck if it is still together, but I can't necessarily make any promises! He's the type of player who will have a deck for a week, and then scrap it to start a different Commander!
So that's actually an editing omission on my part. In order to keep the flow of the game moving I left out the part where Michael counted out his cards before revealing them all to the table. Sorry for any confusion that may have caused! :D
I was like “Oh this is a good game let’s see if the can stop Devin.” Then Michael played Selvala. Then her untapped with her and I started mentally shuffling up
Oh yeah! That turn around win is a large part of why this game was selected. Devin definitely seems relatively unmanageable, but man, does Michael pull out the win here! :D
Oof, that Aven Mindcensor on the Circuitous Route was just mean. 😢 Spencer was arguably the most behind and then stayed that way the whole game. That was just salt on the wound.
Yeah, that's definitely one I talked with Devin about after the game. Sometimes it's not a matter of whether or not you can make a play, but whether or not you should, lol.
I tend to agree with you myself on Cycling as a mechanic. It feels like a Draft mechanic which is missing a few pieces to be interesting in Commander. Unfortunately, I don't think either Commander 2020 or Ikoria really added the pieces it is missing though.
Storm will never ever be a fun deck to play against. That was just painful toward the end. Seriously, I'd never feel comfortable playing against that deck. Is there a way to stop a Storm deck from going off?
Love how everyone has a big splashy play this game.
And then there’s Damia

I run goreclaw and I feel that it's the best mono-green big stompy commander.

The stand power chart in the intro gets me
I'm glad to hear it! It took us a while to figure out what to do with the intro, but I'm pretty happy with where it is at!
That.. that was a lot of mana haha
Oh yeah! :D Things definitely got a little out of hand towards the end of that game.
Production value is getting real good here! Keep up the good work :)
Thank you very much! I'm definitely doing my best to up things by my lonesome on the editing side, but I'm learning as I go! :D

This is the most underrated EDH channel! Love you guys!
Sweet game. Would've been nice to see the Damia player go off some, deck sounded pretty interesting.

@@TheCommanderGuys understandable, I just scrapped 20 decks over the last month
The Thalia animation was so funny. Also i love your channel ❤️
Thank you very much! :D I'm glad you enjoyed the Thalia bit!
With oracle in play you have to reveal what you draw every time :) btw always a pleasure seeing a monog deck

@@TheCommanderGuys no problem for me guys, I'll probably do the same lol
Holy .... that's a GG guys!
Yeah, it definitely came out of nowhere! And funnily enough, Michael was looking to concede to Devin as he started his turn. :D
Yay for mono-green!
Thanks! :D

Thank you very much! That's good to hear! :D
Danny also missed his champion of the parish trigger turn 3
Would love to.have the money for selavai and growing rites
Selvala just got a reprint, if you can get one now it'll probably be the cheapest it gets
@@mgarratt101 not as cheap as you think it is

Favorite commander/ mechanic in commander?
Noted for the QnA! But as a spoiler for my thoughts [Matt], I've played one/both of my personal favorite Commander(s) on the channel already! :D
Mono green storm
Im a Danny and I have a silvar and trynn deck...
I get that people like drawing cards but I’ve never understood the appeal of cycling decks
Yea if he had gotten Damia out and ramped a little early he probably would have been able to do things this game.
I tend to agree with you myself on Cycling as a mechanic. It feels like a Draft mechanic which is missing a few pieces to be interesting in Commander. Unfortunately, I don't think either Commander 2020 or Ikoria really added the pieces it is missing though.
I just feel like there’s way more efficient ways to draw more cards and have less “bad” cards in a deck

Deafening silence, mindbreak trap, Thalia, rule of law, kambal, rurik tarr...
Lol it's big green Mana, hardly storm.
@@amethystwyvern I love this type of deck, I have SO MANY of them HAHA
