Boy is just pampering us always. He never failed to capture our attention. He is just truly captivating! I can listen to his voice non-stop. The no. of times I would listen on loop.
ชอบมาก อยากให้จัดงาน สัญญาว่าจะตามไปฟัง
Each and every time your voice gives me the shivers and shakes that release so many maudlin and nostalgic memories. I wish I had the right words to express what goes through me when just about any of your songs play, but this one just makes my chest tighten and floats me back decades to when I first met Hubby, the uncertainty and hesitancy and also that feeling that he was just special. whew. It's amazing how I went from that to where I am now. How does a midwestern American girl find herself on the other side of the world living a regency life. It wasn't always easy, but there were so many more good days than there were bad. Was it destiny. I don't know, because most of me is overly practical. But a part of me knows that Hubby and I are both lucky, that each of us made life better for the other, that we both wanted the other to be the best versions of ourselves. It is still a work in progress, just like life is supposed to be.
Those are the things I think as I listen to this song for the umpteenth time. With my family yelling in the background. Was this my destiny to be surrounded by love and chaos. If so how the hell did I luck out to have someone who would hold my hand for 4 decades. Destiny? Luck? I don't care, I am just grateful.. Just as I am grateful for your voice that lets me tap into my emotions and memories.
After listening to the video on loop while do various tasks, I decided to take the time to watch it as well. I like the play of the changing lighting and mirrors against the blackness of the musicians and back up sings. When the focus changes from the individual musicians and the black darkness to you in the light and white. It makes me think that the person who is saying the words you are singing is going from the darkness of loneliness to having someone who brightens their life. I'm probably reading too much into the theatre of the video, but since you change staging for the different songs, I am assuming you are also trying to make the audience feel in different ways.
While this jacket isn't my favorite, (I'm not a big fan of the motifs) the texture and color are fantastic. Especially on some of the close-ups the light bounces off the jacket in golden tones. Mixed with the white top and pants it just gives an angelic look. The angelic look with your voice then just enhances the thought that "you are my destiny" is preordained by a higher consciousness. Again, I'm probably overthinking, but whomever did the set/lighting/costume designing they really have a synergistic effect.
So I'll stop spouting my unsolicited opinions, at least for this video. As always I wish you joy and good health. Blessings on you and yours.
