Something I did on last holiday and was so so handy was taking 1 or 2 adapters and then an extension lead with 4/5 plug sockets then so we didn't need as many adapters as sometimes some hotel rooms don't have many!

Defo go the year after they are doing SO much work at the mo! If you can drive as that is a lot cheaper. As long as he's not 5 I think that you can take them in school time so try and go not in the holidays! x
