Rubadub's synth geezer, Aleks, takes a quick look at the Basimilus Iteritas Alter, an insanely powerful eurorack drum voice module from Noise Engineering. Видеоклипы
Wow. Came here for a date with BIA, but went home with Pamela.
"That's a merry f---ing racket, innit?" = Instant subscribe!
Thank you! Demoing the multi-sound aspect sold me on it. Very helpful video.
great demo! Thanks for demonstrating not only what the features are but why they're useful and how to access them
You have sold me on the New Workout... loving your videos and style.
i have one and its ridiculously useful. its never left my rack. not only a crazy good clock trigger/gate module but also random generator, AD or ADSR, digital oscillator, lfo, and a few more things, too. I use it in so many ways in basically all of my patches.
Honestly PNWO is the real star of the show :)
Preeeaaaach! I have both, v stoked after watching this video lol
Good demonstration of the BIA. Lot's of interesting noise under those knobs!
Thanks!
Ohhww yeahh. I need one!!! Thanks for the video!
I was considering Pamela's New Workout and a Basimilus Iteritas Alter in my setup when I finally get a proper Eurorack case. This video convinced me to get them as my very first modules.
Great way to get started!
I did just buy one, thank you!
You had me sold with that STACHe! that my friend is incredible work! MONEY
Seems like a nice module!
Top demo!
Thanks!
That was, indeed, a Merry Fucking Racket! Thanks Aleks
Ha! Thanks!
Ha! Thanks!
When it comes to synths, anything "batshit mental" should be at the top of anyone's wishlist...
hey! thanks for the video.
did you use Pams new internal offset option or envelops to get this result ? my question being : would Tempi be enough to get results from the Basilimus ?
What outputs are you using on Pam's?
Cool. But I'm not getting that out of mine, I've been modulating with LFO's only tho' .could we have some patch details please?
this is stepped modulation, try that
What modulations do you send here from Pam? Lfo's or just gates?
Rubadub Music & Technology thanks for the info
Hey Alex, any idea when you will have this back in stock. I'd like to keep my dollars local :)
Aleks you wear that moustache... Like a Boss
Damn finest basimilus drum video
Could I achieve similar results with a stillson hammer mk2?
Cheers
Yes you can, it’s what I do :)
What’s the mixer/out down the middle of the case?
The make noise 1u cv bus. Found as a part of this case. www.makenoisemusic.com/cases/7u-metal-cv-bus-case-matte-black
nice
I need Pam now, Alter
Pump et UP! Pump et UP!
Pam outputs only trigger?
no it does a LOT more :)
"Each output is now able to provide not just clocked triggers but also rhythmic waveforms with many parameters controllable directly and via assigning to external CV control"
Can I please ask what is the maths doing in this patch ?
Great fucking jam tho !
Is this the micro machines guy?
Maybe I'll give Pamela a workout as it seems the tickling she gives the BIA is fundamental to the 'merry racket'. Thanks.
Other clock generators would work equally well. Noise Engineering Zularic or Numeric Repititor and Make Noise Tempi would all be good fits. Pam's is amazing VFM though!
Mutable Grids also works FANTASTIC with the bia... throw in some S&H for randomness on the fold CV and merry rackets ensue :)
Both of these modules are mandatory for my system for sure. You patched into MATHS as well, how are you using it here?
Using it to invert one of the channels on PNW to give the snare sound on BIA.
What's Maths doing? i am 1millisecond away from buying but don't have Maths (yet!) - will AD envelopes from my 4ms PEG get similar polytimbral results?
Bought BIA last night. Bargain price from your fine establishment. Keep up the great vids!
And A Maths from You Guys - keeping the Scottish Economy Alive through Eurocrack
I like bald guy mustache. Very nice!
3:25 fuck this thing.
подари....
Almost as good as actually seeing Pamela work out on Baywatch.
Scottish people are the best
Based on what you just patched it sounds like a basic drum machine...no way am i buying this shite..
