btw: In Le Mans Ultimate (LMU), steering resistance coefficient and saturation settings affect the force feedback (FFB) behavior, specifically the weight and dynamic range of the steering feel. Here’s a breakdown: Steering Resistance Coefficient This setting adjusts the level of resistance felt when turning the wheel. It simulates how heavy or light the steering feels by adding friction or damping forces to the wheel. Higher values result in heavier steering, giving a stronger sensation of the car’s resistance to turning. Lower values make the steering feel lighter and easier to turn, which may suit long stints to reduce fatigue. Saturation Saturation determines the maximum output of the FFB signal. It effectively compresses or limits the strength of the forces. Higher saturation makes forces feel more pronounced, but it may cause clipping (where subtle details are lost because the force exceeds the wheel's capability). Lower saturation allows for finer detail but at the cost of less overall strength.
Thank you for this comparison. It is always interesting for simracers :) There is one very interesting thing in the latest LMU. And it is ABS force feedback effect on the wheel, which is ridiculous to me. It's something that is unusual in real cars, as well as on other sims. I have no idea why they implemented such thing. It is extremely annoying for me - and the only reason I don't play LMU. My experience is based on 720S, I didn't buy DLC because of that. David, can you take up the challenge and speak out about this issue?
Thank you for providing some legitimacy to those who have been complaining about the low speed force feedback. Some of us are getting of tired of being told by LMU zealots that our skills are lacking or the game is doing everything perfectly, or it's just our equipment. Hopefully feedback from a real 296 GT3 driver will move the needle for studio 396. They are so close. I have to ask about wheel oscillation and violent little jolts (quick FFB grab+release) going down the straight. How much of that is realistic?
If you’re struggling with the movement on the straights I would recommend turning down your FFB. In real life the steering is pretty light because of the power steering. But I do acknowledge it’s a difficult balance to get right in the game. In terms of overall FFB I have spoken with the guys at S397 about my feelings. Let’s see what happens there. ~ Dave
@@CoachDaveAcademy Sounds good. That's what I wanted to hear...although the thing I hate is that turning it down turns down ALL the FFB (including torque, not just the crazy bumpiness)
@@CoachDaveAcademy (Side note: If you can, try out your 296 in LMU with VR and headphones -- I use a Quest 3 jacked up high in the resolution department and the noise and the immersion are enough to give me chills...I can only imagine what it's like in real life...this is the closest I'll get).
Thanks, Dave!! Couple questions: do real LMGT3 cars allow different gear ratios like in the game? When do you think LMU will give brake hapatic feedback output for ABS in SimHub?
I need to check the rules. It used to be that the GTE card had two different gear ratio sets. We used both sets back in the day. For LMGT3 I don’t think that’s the case. Regarding brake haptics, I’m not sure, we all need to ask LMU devs that question. ~ Dave
@CoachDaveAcademy I nearly don't feel the peak of self-aligning torque of tyres in Ferrari 296 in Le Mans Ultimate using a direct drive wheel. It's very hard to perceive it and the feedback mostly feels even at the moment of peak and when you exceed that peak. In ACC in contrast to LMU it's very easy to perceive. I would be grateful if you can tell if you easily feel the self-aligning torque peak in the real Ferrari 296 GT3? Thank you.
I'd say that ACC has the closest FFB 'feel' compared to real life. But in ACC you are missing a bunch of feedback from braking and the tyre sliding across the surface. Still, it's the best of a bad bunch. None of them are perfect.
@6:18 I feel like the FFB for every car needs a look over. It feels like you get an initial resistance on turn-in, but then the steering goes numb. It’s hard to feel understeer or oversteer in my opinion. The McLaren 720s GT3 is really bad with that, as is the LMP2 cars in my opinion. It could be my settings, but I have heard other people say that as well, including James Baldwin. I have obviously never driven any of these cars in real life though, so my only reference is iRacing and ACC. To me, ACC is much worse, and I can’t figure out how to drive around it.
Do you think the LMU version of the gt3 is better than the iracing version? I played both and for me the LMU version feels more natural, but I think that the weight and the force feedback are better in iracing. What do you think?
For me iRacing has the weakest simulation of GT3s. You have to be way to gentle with braking and steering which is not true of real life. I think ACC is still the 🐐 but LMU has become really good. And it’s fun and new and fresh. ~ Dave
They spent more time refining the physics engine. The game requires less pitching and sliding compared to rF2. It’s not perfect, but it’s a big improvement. ~ Dave
Hey Dave, thank you for this amazing video! Would be ingeresting to see a video about position in the sim, do you know how much degree of tilt do you have in your seat? Thanks
What do you think about Automobilista 2? For me as an bloody amateur simracer, no game yet hat a better feel for weightshifting and force feedback. Would love to hear your professional view:)
I've been thinking about giving Delta a go for the racing lines and lap comparisons, are the GT3s included yet? If not when would they likely be in it? Thanks
you mention that the GT3s have more downforce compared to the LMGT3, but the only visual “difference” is often the Wing (or rather the end plate) as on the Mclaren and Ferrari. Is the downforce regulated through max wing angle in the rule book?
Never got the chance to race cars, did race karts during a career spanning 20 years starting at 1989. rFactor 2 has been my go to sim and while the physics may be too slidey for cars they did feel very natural for me that I had grown used to driving karts on low grip hard tires (racing on a budget) on low grip Greek tracks. iRacing? there's no feel of the limit, cars just snap out of control and I don't like turning in a million laps just to be able to keep the car on track. Next year the Virtual Endurance Championship will migrate from RF2 to LMU and I will migrate too with it. I found the comments on the FFB intriguing, driving the GT3s and some other cars in RF2 through some medium to high speed corners the cars sometimes feel absolutely sensational on certain tracks and corners, bringing back real life memories, this does not happen at the slow stuff. I remember driving the Palatov D4 on Croft in RF2 and at the last S of the track, the way the car gripped and changed direction was so reminiscent of my kart I was almost in tears from joy, I could just feel it like irl minus the g-forces and somehow the way it was translated through the wheel it kind of immitated the g-forces as well. I had to stop racing due to family and job obligations and simracing helped me maintain sanity and make the transition to family life without feeling I had lost much. Same for modern cars that are total shite, I bought a bike instead, I get my driving fix in RF2 nowadays and I'm a happy bunny, they can keep the electric steering and shove it... Cheers!
My biggest issue with lmu is will it be able to sustain enough people for consistent racing. That is my biggest reason for staying on iracing is the fact that I can race a full lobby whenever I want, where as with other sims it just isnt possible all the time
Well, if you try it, you won't come back to iRacing, at least not for anything above LMP3/GT4, And if you don't try it, how will servers be full? Are you scared of what?
If everyone waited to see if others will come in, nobody would ever play. Thankfully some people don't worry about what others are doing and just get in and race an awesome sim :).
It's a preference thing. The way my rig is setup means my seat position in-game is setup as a 'window into the world' of that sim. But on videos like this it makes it feel like you're sitting on the dashboard. There's a great explainer video on FOV that can be found on Chris Haye's RUclips channel. ~ Dave
@CoachDaveAcademy ... and if LMU wants to fix their car audio sounds they should engage the services of a sound engineer to sort it as should all the other sim producers and we'd get authentic sound as well as handling which would give total emersion.
How about the DAMAGES vs REAL LIFE DAMAGES ? It seems that ALL sims don’t care about realistic damage model where real life is really unforgiving regarding damages… Few damages points: Engine, transmission, bodywork,…. Wish damage model of sims get more attention !
I love the rF2 and LMU but the GT3 are undriveable for me with the ABS, it can't be that you can feel the ABS effect so extreme in the FFB that you can't brake properly into the curve because you can't feel the road, as you can see What about the ABS effect?
And I don't think my FFB is too strong either, since I only have 8NM. Is it correct that the GT3 has around 10-12nm in the real car? Then I find it strange that when trail breaking you only notice the ABS shaking Fanatec CSLDD
I’ve heard some people complain about the ABS FFB but I cannot say I experience the same problem (Fanatec DD+ and Simagic Alpha). I real life under combined braking and turning you absolutely feel a lot of ABS. But since I haven’t had any issues with the FFB in game, I am not sure if I’m missing something or if it is just a new experience for sim racers and it just takes time to get used to it. ~ Dave
@@CoachDaveAcademy OK, thanks for the answer, I think it's OK if you can feel the ABS but unfortunately it's so bad that I can't feel the road, I don't want to praise myself but without ABS I could be in the top 50 in the rankings, now I always drive in last place because I just can't feel it. Sorry, that's translated because I don't speak English. So that's just how it is and I won't buy the next GT3 and will try to drive the GTE or the LMP.. thank you very much for your answer 🙏🙏🙏
@@CoachDaveAcademy thanks a lot for clarifying this moment with ABS. I had a feeling that it had too strong force feedback on braking. But now as you clarify it is real I have no complains. I mostly had this feeling of very strong feedback jumping from ACC where you don't feel ABS at all. But here in LMU after 10 laps I stop feeling ABS at most because I start braking properly up to the limit of ABS. If it's real then it's real, no need to change anything, we just need to adapt our braking to real life from simplified simulation. But it's important that you as a real driver confirm that it's what is actually felt in the real 296. Thank you!
@@CoachDaveAcademyHello Dave. Is it perhaps possible for you to share your Simagic Alpha FFB settings? I would find it very interesting to test and drive your settings. Please. 😊 Maybe also the ingame settings. Maybe you can also say something about your FOV settings in the cockpit. Depending on how big your monitor or even triple monitors are. You also seem to be sitting about 70cm away from the monitor, right? Thank you very much and have a Merry Christmas. Greetings, Thomas.
From the outside the 296 sounds terrible. I was trackside as a photographer for IMSA, you can’t even hardly hear a 296, they make no good race car noises.
Someone tell me how to fix FOV. it's so off on my rig i can't play it. I measured and used a calculator. No matter what setting I use it looks terrible. I get 0 sense of speed
It's always about getting a balance between a mathematically perfect FOV and what 'feels right'. I don't follow the measurements, rather I adjust it to what I feel is best.
Hmmm. Not sure if audio alone is worth trying a game, lol Might consider if the handling at low speed is improved upon…but that is a pretty major component to handling and FFB. I have read and seen across multiple reviews since the update/LMGT3 add on, and to your point - the universal consensus is the low speed ‘feels’, or lack thereof.
I call that nitpicking. No sim is subject to this level of nitpicking, whilst iRacing has had for TWO YEARS a sad-sack and wholly unrealistic representation of the GTP class (LMDh) and only now that they completely &%$#$ the joint, people start to realise the scam around that iRacing mantra of 'the most realistic'.
@@valter_vava74you can call it whatever you want, makes no difference to me. People ‘nitpick’ everything…but I digress, can I have an opinion? GT3’s are new the LMU…I am sure they will improve over time, but until then I feel there are better GT3 candidates in the market, namely that of ACC and AMS2.
Let's not forget, LMU is still in early access. It will be interesting to see how the 1.0 version feels. So far, I really enjoy LMU. Very informative video, thank you!
I think what these sims get wrong (that iRacing implemented) is the audio in the car/helmet. LMU sounds like ur in a convertible just like every other “sim” vs iRacing which has the choice of multiple different helmets and ear plugs
@@CoachDaveAcademy Sound -> bottom left. I’m not at computer right now but it’s by the XA2 compressor drop down. You can select multiple different types of in car . I think it’s just called in car sound . You’ll see it
Oh I have to agree, it's nice to hear the engine, but it makes a LOT more sense to hear the muffle! I don't like playing iracing without the ear muffs!
Played my first full multiclass at Monza in the LMGT3 Mclaren today. I've played Iracing for years, but I have to say, this is the first time in a long time I felt I was properly fighting the car - in a good way. Although I definitely agree with the FFB issue in low speed; the 1st corner chicane is very uncomfortable. Otherwise it's a joy to throw the car around and know if I clip the gravel I'm not getting a 1x! Great review.
My problem with the LMGT3 in LMU is that the ABS responds far too early and too strongly. I find that completely unrealistic. I found the ABS in rF2 much better
@@CoachDaveAcademy Wheels locking when braking at 50%? Switch off ABS and see when the wheels lock. I would understand that if I pressed the brake all the way down, but not like that. I prefer to drive cars without ABS, I don't want to deal with the shocks in the wheel
We are involved in all top sim racing titles to varying degrees. ACC, iRacing, AC Evo, LMU, Gran Turismo. I've definitely got a bias towards sim racing being big, and I want them all to succeed. In any case I do have some words to say about how this game needs to improve its physics and FFB. ~ Dave
Do your setups appear with your logo in the other sims though? Are you saying your financial interests aren't directly linked and therefore greater in this title? Fine if your selling it, but at least say your selling it.
its a shame the optimization is so bad, i've played this game for a bit but had to return it because it could barely get 60 fps in low graphics on a good pc, other than that, FFB, graphics, handling and gameplay is amazing, i hope they will fix the performance issues
That’s a big shame. Luckily I’ve had no issues since this new update. And I do believe that even more major optimisations are coming, so maybe give it another go in the coming months. ~ Dave
@ryanmazumder4535 rx 6700xt i5 12th gen, 32 gb ddr4 ram, its a pretty good mid range pc that can get a smooth gameplay on any AAA game in 1440p, except for this one, there is a chance i had some setting turned on that messed with the game because i had some freezing issues on F1 24 which disabling said setting fixed, but it was a bit different, LMU was straight up running at like 30 fps, not 60 with occasional lags like on F1 24
So now I know why the ferrari sounds good but the mclaren sounds bad. Perhaps they can get extra data for the mclaren like they got from the ferrari at some point.
McLaren aren't very giving when it comes to audio details... That or they dont have the data to share. iRacing McLaren in cockpit sound is just as bad.
No, this is my own take. We support multiple sims through SimGrid and Coach Dave. Everything from GT7 to iRacing and now LMU. We could make a video about almost any sim and get accused of being biased. But that’s not the case :) ~ Dave
@ too old to invest in youtubers yes but still the most realistic. You will be surprised yesterday I commented that LMU lake lowspeed ffb details and you also said the same thing….no sim ffb is as details as ac1(on entry, mid and corner exit, details when you’ve trailbraked bad and most importantly tire before you lockup and when you lock up), most sims including LMU when you lockup its over in that corner which is not realistic while ac1 you can feel the level of lockup and slightly release the brake accordingly. And what interesting is that ac1 has abs vibrations(ffb) and people make it as if LMU came with it🤦🏿♂️. Ac1 is theee benchmark…..
Yea but there’s a difference between being realistic and FFB. Just because a vibration is happening through the wheel does not mean it’s the right vibration for the right moment etc. AC was the best of its time but I do feel like we have progressed significantly since then. Am looking forward to AC Evo, I think it will be a huge step forward. ~ Dave
@ I respect you and what you have done for sim racing community but these days only money talks no wonder you dont have ac setups😅…it is hard to believe youtubers, I trust my intuitive feel….as I mentioned no sim does tire feedback((lockups(before, when happens and when to release brakes without completely messing up the corner) as detailed as ac))….the only way I can believe hypercars in LMU feels better than ac is when LMU has paid me😂😂.
Interesting that the Ferrari sound is so close to real life because James Baldwin said the McLaren doesn't really sound at all like the actual car that he's driven.
at all is a stretch,he said that its the best representation in any sim game to date while acknowledging the subtle shortcomings, its pretty good, but yes, things can always be better :)
@@CoachDaveAcademy must be. Personally I think ACC has the best implementation of the Macca onboard audio. The offboard in LMU is really good but ACC's audio for the Macca is unmatched IMO.

Thanks for amazing information and feedback much appreciated and Im looking forward to getting my hands on the sim :-) I been racing Iracing for 2 and half years and sim racing for almost 4years now
Great review, thanks.
they should bring much more into details options for ffb like it was before ❤
now I end up opening controller folder and corrected inside the value of coefficient and saturation
btw: In Le Mans Ultimate (LMU), steering resistance coefficient and saturation settings affect the force feedback (FFB) behavior, specifically the weight and dynamic range of the steering feel. Here’s a breakdown:
Steering Resistance Coefficient
This setting adjusts the level of resistance felt when turning the wheel.
Saturation
Saturation determines the maximum output of the FFB signal. It effectively compresses or limits the strength of the forces.
Higher saturation makes forces feel more pronounced, but it may cause clipping (where subtle details are lost because the force exceeds the wheel's capability).
Lower saturation allows for finer detail but at the cost of less overall strength.
Outstanding vid 👍
Much appreciated 🙏
Thank you for this comparison. It is always interesting for simracers :)
There is one very interesting thing in the latest LMU.
I'm enjoying LMU now with the GT3 release. Just missing my Porsche 992 😢
Hopefully it makes an appearance soon!
@@CoachDaveAcademy thanks a lot for clarification!
Does hopping between sims improve your skills or make you worse across all of them? I’m in iRacing at the moment and I struggled going back to ACC.
I don’t think so. Each one requires different driving styles, with their own quirks. To be fast in one sim requires dedication to that sim. ~ Dave
I’m sure their team are looking at it. Let’s see what the next update brings ~ Dave
~ Dave
thx for the reply, keep up the good work💪
yeah I see what you saying but I can't stand the braking in ACC. It feels so of, you just have to smash it😅
Where can I find the presented real life POV clips?
I love the sound of them and I want to listen them too
I’ll consider publishing them on my Personal channel: RUclips.com/davidperel
@@CoachDaveAcademy Thank you! I look forward when you will publishing them
Thanks for the valuable insights.
Why is LMU better than Rf2 handling wise?
They spent more time refining the physics engine. The game requires less pitching and sliding compared to rF2. It’s not perfect, but it’s a big improvement. ~ Dave
Hey Dave, thank you for this amazing video! Would be ingeresting to see a video about position in the sim, do you know how much degree of tilt do you have in your seat? Thanks
No idea mate. We adjust the seat at the start of the season and never think of it again. ~ Dave
@CoachDaveAcademy Thank you
What do you think about Automobilista 2? For me as an bloody amateur simracer, no game yet hat a better feel for weightshifting and force feedback.
Would love to hear your professional view:)
Will be giving it a proper go in about a weeks time ~ Dave
I've been thinking about giving Delta a go for the racing lines and lap comparisons, are the GT3s included yet? If not when would they likely be in it? Thanks
Yep, LMGT3 setups and reference laps are ready in Delta :) give it a go! ~ Dave
you mention that the GT3s have more downforce compared to the LMGT3, but the only visual “difference” is often the Wing (or rather the end plate) as on the Mclaren and Ferrari.
Is the downforce regulated through max wing angle in the rule book?
The body work is different between each car. Different front hood, splitter, mirrors, rear wing. ~ Dave
@ that makes sense, thank you 🙂 gonna play a little spot the difference now xD
Cheers!
In the big braking zones in this game ... are u braking up to 100 percent and allowing abs to take over for a bit ?
Yes, like in real life you brake at maximum force on the initial press and the reduce pressure as your approach your turn in point.
Hi David, can you take a look at the default cambers in LMU and why are they running such low values by default? Is it a tyre model issue?
Likely related to the camber values we have to run according to the rules. They are very limited in real life. ~ Dave
Thank you coach 🤝🫡love it❤️🏎️
My biggest issue with lmu is will it be able to sustain enough people for consistent racing.
That is my biggest reason for staying on iracing is the fact that I can race a full lobby whenever I want, where as with other sims it just isnt possible all the time
Well, if you try it, you won't come back to iRacing, at least not for anything above LMP3/GT4,
And if you don't try it, how will servers be full?
Are you scared of what?
It’s doing well so far :)
If everyone waited to see if others will come in, nobody would ever play. Thankfully some people don't worry about what others are doing and just get in and race an awesome sim :).
Racing in a car that feels more intuitive gives a bigger smile on my face 😁
I'd rather wait a bit longer for a race I'll enjoy a lot more.
Can anyone explain me why everything with the Field of view in sims seems so odd? Like super zoomed in? Doesn't it feel weird while driving?
It's a preference thing. The way my rig is setup means my seat position in-game is setup as a 'window into the world' of that sim. But on videos like this it makes it feel like you're sitting on the dashboard. There's a great explainer video on FOV that can be found on Chris Haye's RUclips channel. ~ Dave
@@CoachDaveAcademy Thank you for answer! Much appreciate!
The locked steering wheel is tripping me out! 😅
Really interesting!
For some reason all the games never get the interior exactly the same like the digital mirror and delta screen in the 296.(for every car actually.)
It’s because they’re different in each 296 you drive. Depends on the specs the team/driver asked for when ordering their car.
@CoachDaveAcademy Never noticed that before.
The only thing they have got wrong is the rev range and the shifting lights timing. You should be fastest shifting at full red, not at double yellow.
In real life we shift on the first red light in the 296 ;)
@CoachDaveAcademy wait a minute
That's intersting. Looks like s397 knew what they were doing.
“When I first drove a beta version…”
It’s still in beta 😂
I mean a beta version of this DLC :)
ASM2 or LMU? for my 1st racing game.
You can’t go wrong with either choice.
When track guides?
Planned for the new year 👊
I can’t help but pick up the South African accent here, are you from South Africa by any chance? 😅
Grew up in Cape Town bru!
Convinced me to give it a shot.
Mega! It’s worth a try.
Had no idea that LMGT3s were slower.
I'm your new racing Wikipedia ~ Dave
LMU sound for a ferrari is missing a lot of low mid range frequencies. LMU sound does not have enough bass.
All the sims are missing bass, but LMU is still the best when it comes to the sound of the 296. ~ Dave
@CoachDaveAcademy ... and if LMU wants to fix their car audio sounds they should engage the services of a sound engineer to sort it as should all the other sim producers and we'd get authentic sound as well as handling which would give total emersion.
when the selling point is the audio and not the racing on the track lol
There are many positives about the game, but this video is about similarities to the real life 296 :) ~ Dave
How about the DAMAGES vs REAL LIFE DAMAGES ? It seems that ALL sims don’t care about realistic damage model where real life is really unforgiving regarding damages…
Few damages points: Engine, transmission, bodywork,….
Wish damage model of sims get more attention !
But no one likes a realistic damage model. Especially in online play.
In any case the best sim for damage is definitely iRacing.
yes agreed low speed ffb no info on grip etc most of my spins is low speed and when I forgot to drive it correcly 😂
btw my favourite car in Iracing
Please. 😊
Maybe also the ingame settings.
Bring back the 458 GTE!
Hmmm. Not sure if audio alone is worth trying a game, lol
Might consider if the handling at low speed is improved upon…but that is a pretty major component to handling and FFB. I have read and seen across multiple reviews since the update/LMGT3 add on, and to your point - the universal consensus is the low speed ‘feels’, or lack thereof.
Did you watch the whole video? He said it’s s become his go-to sim as of late. That’s definitely a positive review.
@@aquaxbatyes I did. I am not saying it is a bad game…but I will say that for me based on all I have read and seen, ACC will remain my go to. 🤷♂️
LMUGT3 is absolutely fun for me!
Especially at Interlagos, Sebring or Portimao!
Portimao is my fav :)
@@CoachDaveAcademy Yeah, Rollercoaster fun. But difficult to master!

Is it better than iracing for you ?
For GT3 yes. But I’ve never been a fan of the GT3 in iRacing. I play iR a lot but mostly in Mazdas and Formula Ford.

I'm still thinking of getting into LMU.
Don't think. Do it!
It’s worth a try!
I love this games ❤
I think what these sims get wrong (that iRacing implemented) is the audio in the car/helmet.
LMU sounds like ur in a convertible just like every other “sim” vs iRacing which has the choice of multiple different helmets and ear plugs
Really? Where are those settings in iRacing?
@@CoachDaveAcademy Sound -> bottom left.
It’s a lot of fun. Especially because you can play with the car more compared to GT3 in iRacing. Thanks for watching and commenting! ~ Dave
My problem with the LMGT3 in LMU is that the ABS responds far too early and too strongly. I find that completely unrealistic. I found the ABS in rF2 much better
You've driven a LMGT3?
This is more realistic than rF2 🙏 ~ Dave
@@CoachDaveAcademy Wheels locking when braking at 50%? Switch off ABS and see when the wheels lock. I would understand that if I pressed the brake all the way down, but not like that. I prefer to drive cars without ABS, I don't want to deal with the shocks in the wheel
turn down the brake pressure in the setup menu
Have you done one of these videos for iRacing with the 296?
I haven’t, I have been off RUclips for a long time. Will maybe do an iRacing 296 video when they release their new tyre model for the GT3’s.
Isn't there a chance of bias here? Have CDA not got a financial interest in LMU?
We are involved in all top sim racing titles to varying degrees. ACC, iRacing, AC Evo, LMU, Gran Turismo. I've definitely got a bias towards sim racing being big, and I want them all to succeed. In any case I do have some words to say about how this game needs to improve its physics and FFB. ~ Dave
Do your setups appear with your logo in the other sims though? Are you saying your financial interests aren't directly linked and therefore greater in this title?
Fine if your selling it, but at least say your selling it.
OK you convinced me to buy DLC 😂👍
The GT3's are extremely fun to drive nontheless
😍
its a shame the optimization is so bad, i've played this game for a bit but had to return it because it could barely get 60 fps in low graphics on a good pc, other than that, FFB, graphics, handling and gameplay is amazing, i hope they will fix the performance issues
That’s a big shame. Luckily I’ve had no issues since this new update. And I do believe that even more major optimisations are coming, so maybe give it another go in the coming months. ~ Dave
What specs are you using? I'm using a fairly old spec PC and it was actually something else in my PC that was making LMU struggle.
@ incredibly weird, i am running a gtx1070 and an i5 11400. Can you check your CPU usage at idle?
@ryanmazumder4535 i dont have LMU rn and in other games everythings fine
"pun intended" 😂
So now I know why the ferrari sounds good but the mclaren sounds bad. Perhaps they can get extra data for the mclaren like they got from the ferrari at some point.
Credit to Ferrari for the level of detail they went to.
McLaren aren't very giving when it comes to audio details... That or they dont have the data to share. iRacing McLaren in cockpit sound is just as bad.
Is this video sponsored by lmu in any way?
well they make setups for LMU so probably promoting that but still good to hear another opinion
No, this is my own take. We support multiple sims through SimGrid and Coach Dave. Everything from GT7 to iRacing and now LMU. We could make a video about almost any sim and get accused of being biased. But that’s not the case :) ~ Dave

So ac1 is the most realistic then😅cold tyre is deadly plus ffb is still mind blowing
Haha no! AC is too old now 😅 only Gamer Muscle (a legend) thinks it’s realistic 😂
@@CoachDaveAcademy I am sure Kuno has invested in ac evo massively I understand why youtubers hyped it so much.
I think they need to listen to guys like you not some 15 year old kid that races on a controller talking about how bad the ffb and physics are.
They do. They also use James Baldwin for feedback on realism. ~ Dave
Sounds like LM series operators are wankers if you have to sandbag GT3 so they don’t aren’t faster than theirs..
Priority is prototypes in the ACO organised series. ~ Dave
Interesting that the Ferrari sound is so close to real life because James Baldwin said the McLaren doesn't really sound at all like the actual car that he's driven.
Likely because of the source material they had at their disposal. ~ Dave
