Dressing modestly is a big one for me.
seasons of singleness is hard, I am 34, and still single, each year is becoming more difficult. I knew God has purpose for me during this particular season , I left my home country to 2018 to do my PhD degree, this past years, I clearly experience up and downs, time of hitting my valley , rejection for courtship, difficulties with my PhD studies, fighting against temptation, the list goes on and on. Last Novermer, I got my doctor degree and now worked as research fellow. In retrospect , he is indeed faithful and delivered me over all these storms. Sometimes, I don't know how long it will take me to remain single , I keep praying for my future partner, hopefully God will lift both of us when time is right. Please praying for me! thanks !
I had a friend get married at 36 and he is very happy! Stay faithful to the Lord above all and someone will come into your life if it is meant to be. Everyone’s timing is different. Praying for ya!

Great words of wisdom. I believe in finding the right girl who is in the same interests like me and who is respectful to myself and those close to me. Love the blooper scene! You guys seem really mature as-well. Lots of great points here. To add; I think with the father-daughter relationship, not every girl has a father in her life or a father that respects God. Therefore he may not honour his wife or his family. So many times her father may tell his daughter to do wrong things. But it's still important that she doesn't verbally disrespect her father but rather choose to follow God in all things and pray for her father. In this case the man may not be able to see how she's like with family but he can see how she's like with strangers and people in general. Jesus says if you love father more than God, you are not worthy of the kingdom. I know there's families where fortunately every member is saved, but for the daughter who is the only saved one in the family, a man of God should righteously judge that situation and if he prefers a girl who has both parents and that's important to him, then he should pursue her but if he doesn't mind what her past is or where she's coming from (family wise) then he should accept her with his whole heart as the Lord God accepts her. After all, love is a choice, whoever we choose to love, we should love according to God's will for us.❤

Wow words can’t explain how good this video was. See how she treats her dad/male figures in her life was such a bullseye 🎯 tip. My ex treated me terribly and she had no respect for her dad. There really is a connection. Awesome vid thank you!

But I have a question about [women are not allowed to speak in the church.] What do you mean by that, because it is known that this verse was said by Paul to the Corinthian church because of an issue that sparked controversy in that church and was not set by law for all churches. I hope I have not offended Understanding, but I want you to explain to me what you believed exactly.
Hi Rei! Thank you for the compliment! As far as what we mentioned regarding women not being able to speak in church, we’re referring to women preaching. 1 Timothy 2:11-12 says, “A woman must quietly receive instruction with entire submissiveness. But I do not allow a woman to teach or to exercise authority over a man, but to remain quiet” (NASB). What Paul was meaning here is that women are not permitted to become pastors and exercise authority over the men. We believe that women can speak & lead in other settings (i.e. small groups, teaching women and children, etc) but that the preaching should be left to the men! We hope this answers your question. Adultery is a sin regardless. Sex before marriage is a sin, however adultery is having sexual relations with someone WHO ISN'T YOUR WIFE.

If you're sixteen, I would definitly wait and hold back. She might be the one, but you're not ready at your age for the long term commitment. Seek to just be friends with each other, mainting good boundaries so you don't sin, and pray pray pray. If she's the one, God will eventually bring you two together in the future and if she's not, then you will have avoided much heart ache by not letting your feelings rule you! I’m 18 now and I’ve been thinking about different girls being ”the one” since I came to know Christ at 15yo.

Hi there! We just mean women becoming pastors or being placed in a pastoral position that exercising authority over men! Women weren’t meant to be pastors/preachers, so that is what we mean by speakers in the church! Hope this helps!
