Great in depth review Brian ; really enjoy the in depth comparison of the previous retros. Waiting on my shock drop pair myself but have seen my younger bro's early pair in hand he got for basically retail. I do like quite a bit about the new retro , especially seeing the BC3 on the updated improved shape / cut on AJ3s we've been getting in recent years. The overall shape , thinner cut of the elephant print both really good ; i personally somewhat prefer the appearance of the leather and appearance / how defined the elephant print was on the 2018 pair over this next retro. But other than that those two details (just in my opinion) a lot of other tweaks on the 2024 version do seem to be improvements. Can't wait to get them on feet. JB does seem to be doing better of late with the changes they are making on numerous models. Nothing better than seeing a retro looking closer and closer to the OGs. Keep these reviews coming , thoroughly enjoy them.

Picked up my 14s,then got my 9s, and skip the fear 4s, and prepaid for these can't wait, my favorite shoe of all time is the white cement 3, never had the black cement 3s but im so excited to get them in my collection, it's OG colorway retro's from now on collection is getting bigger so nothing but og from hear on out , time to start wearing everything i got my New Year's resolution 💯🙏🏻🔥✔️

I’m for sure going for these on the 23rd! I’ve wanted these since I had the white cements in ‘94. Loved those shoes, miss them badly. I wanted the black cements back then but they didn’t have my size at the store so got the white cements.

Got my Shock Drop pair delivered early yesterday. Def a great retro , if that black lines of the elephant print were a little darker / more defined would have been 10 / 10 but overall a very good retro. Reminds me of the MB4s , though these BC3s somewhat better quality than those imo ; quality pretty good and closer than ever to the OGs.
Barrios vs Ramos and Serrano vs Katie (even tho the decision was bootie) were better fights. Got a double up on "accident" from the shock drop. Hope they're good pairs. Good review.

Between the '18 and '24 overall I think the 2018 is a better quality, and with the more padded ankle and tongue, is a more comfortable rendition. The 2018 also has the best elephant printing. Not only that its darker, the actual pattern itself is the most coherent looking; the most like the print on the box.

I dont understand how they made the elephant print on the Fire Red 3s nice and narrow making the shoe look sleek. Even the Laser Orange 3s and other pairs but with these on some pairs it seems they've gone back to the 2018 shape on the toe box 🤷🏼♂️

Brian I keep going back and forth if I’d rather have 24 or 18 pair. I gave my brother the last pair with the jump man on the back and I had to re size my collection after my left foot got smaller (being off of it for a year after surgery did that, crazy I know) so I was waiting on the black cement. I keep going back and forth and it’s killing me. Advice for a fellow og niketalk alum? I like the leather by the looks of it much better on 18 pair, but cut on 24 better.
I didn’t know that could happen after surgery! That surprised me! Personally, I like the 2024 more. I like the materials used. The shape. It reminds me more of the OG. Although it’s not perfect, I do think JB did a good job. If your into soft leather, 2024. 2018 leather is still nice, slightly more stiff, and way more tumbled.

You’re right. The elephant print has been inconsistent on a lot of pairs. I don’t mind it on my pair. However, the shoes I used in the video I will be taking back since it’s a size 9.5 and need a 10.5. So I will check out the elephant print on those pairs

I dont understand how they made the elephant print on the Fire Red 3s nice and narrow making the shoe look sleek. Even the Laser Orange 3s and other pairs but with these on some pairs it seems they've gone back to the 2018 shape on the toe box 🤷🏼♂️

Brian I keep going back and forth if I’d rather have 24 or 18 pair. I gave my brother the last pair with the jump man on the back and I had to re size my collection after my left foot got smaller (being off of it for a year after surgery did that, crazy I know) so I was waiting on the black cement. I keep going back and forth and it’s killing me. Advice for a fellow og niketalk alum? I like the leather by the looks of it much better on 18 pair, but cut on 24 better.

I didn’t know that could happen after surgery! That surprised me! Personally, I like the 2024 more. I like the materials used. The shape. It reminds me more of the OG. Although it’s not perfect, I do think JB did a good job. If your into soft leather, 2024. 2018 leather is still nice, slightly more stiff, and way more tumbled.

It’s fkn crazy how inconsistent the elephant print is on these 2024 BC3s. I’ve seen some that look great and some looking awful. Don’t mean to rain on ur parade bro, but I’m waiting on my pair to come in from the shock drop and if mine comes in with the elephant print looking as bleak as it is on ur pair(especially on the heel mudguard), I’m sending them back. Nike needs to do better, especially if they’re charging people $220
