Do they? Lol
Trying to figure out who Broshmo chit his pants more? -- Gibbs at RB last year with Detroit or QB Penix this year with Atlanta?
Thank you for all your work another draft. It's one of the best times of the year for all of us and you get us excited early. Very impressive that you can break down 6th round picks lol. Well done and thank you!
The Lions took Vaki, and I didn't get it till i seen a safety taking snaps and running the ball. Dan just got him his new fake special teams player. A Brad Holmes draft always confuses people and ends up with Andy Dufrene flopping out of the sewer into the pond. All we needed was Corner, and we got two good ones almost like getting the last powerstone. I didn't do any homework but in my head i thought, you know Brad thinks were going to get some compensatory picks next year for sure, and you can always trade future picks to get todays picks.
The Lions drafts usually look better, but that's because this year we were drafting at 29. To get the best corner in the draft, our biggest need, thanks to all the offensive players going first over defense, and only giving a 3rd round pick to get Terrion Arnold instead of staying pat and getting Kool Aid, is well worth it. I'm going to be real to, I like Rakestraw over Cooper Dejean. Coop was the doll of the ball, I'm not ready to call him Weddle yet. Arnold and Rakestraw with Carleton Davis and Amik Robertson, is crazy that we are bringing the same team with a little more experience and now we have these corners, when Vildor and Sutton were our starters last year, and all we had. LFG
Love that Olde English D!
I had to chime in. Brad Holmes......when will the league learn! Howie theres a new sheriff in town! And that tackle you said was a 6th/7th round pick had half the league at his pro day!
No the lions gave away 1 of the 4ths they had still have a 4th. & Possibly getting a starting LT for a 3rd round pick is a easy yes!!
I totally get why some people would scratch their heads at it. But Brad Holmes proves those head scratchers wrong EVERY year. That “unknown” Canadian tackle had half the league in for top 30 visits and had a ton of attention from front offices. I don’t think GMs thought of him as a 6th-7th rnd flier if they spent all that time and assets checking him out at his pro-days etc.
Every pick for the Lions was an A+ except for that one thing. Lions overdrafted last year, but it still proved accurate. They can miss on one 4th round pick and take a chance like that and still have the best draft.
@@meowmeow7900how did the Lions overdraft last year….
Broshom you’re the 🐐!!!
Best draft coverage channel out there!
Mad props for putting out videos like this and responding to all the negative comments, bro.
It seems like every fan wants to see their team's draft graded an A+ and the other 3 teams in their division get low grades. You've probably watched more tape than the whole comment section combined. You preface with "just one man's opinion on the internet guys." Yet some watchers still bring the hate smh. Why are they watching??
I've watched a dozen plus grade videos today (some of which had my team's draft graded higher) and yours was the best.
Thanks bro!!!
Excellent work this year! I’ve enjoyed the coverage from start to finish. First year buying the spreadsheet and can CONFIDENTLY say will be
re-newing
it's not half bad!!! I looking to how I can optimize it for next draft cycle.
Great video bro
Great job this draft season Bro
Thank you Broshmo for my Giants A I loved the draft and was pretty happy with it. Wished we got a QB but I didn’t want to sell the house either to get one and leave the Rookie with no help. I’m just happy my GM tried and when he saw it wasn’t going to happen he didn’t panic and went BPA throughout the draft.
IM A WASHINGTON FAN AND IDK REMEMBER THE LAST TIME PPL PRAISED US AND OUR MOVES. FIRE VIDEO BRO 🔥
I agree so far
Don’t forget that conditions 3rd that can turn into a 2nd for that reddick trade to the jets. Howie is a 🐐
His last 3 drafts have been great
That pick is in 2026
Eagles draft was great but Howie’s best move was their newest enrollment to Stoutland University the Mecca of pass protecta UDFA Anim Dankwah who everyone will know in a few years as the eagles pro bowl RT
Always appreciate the draft content. What’s the plans for during the season? Maybe film studies of future prospects? Maybe your picks each week for the nfl (matchups that you like; I think this would be an easy video). Always look forward to the content brother. Have a blessed week
Thanks! Film studies would get demonetized so probably not, but I'll be doing my deep dive on the 2025 class and have summer rankings for that and I'll have deep dives for every NFL team going into the 2024 season.
The Lions picking Manu is to replace a tackle in a couple of years but is a project and has great upside for the future. The guy is a mauler and has good pass protection and will be good besides the fact 11 teams brought him in for a visit. If any team can be patient with his progress its the Lion's as they have 2 great tackles.
I don't disagree but leveraging next year's picks didn't sit right with me
As a panthers fan the C is appropriate. For the Falcons, the party I was watching through was saying that Atlanta was just auto drafting haha
I think the Panthers draft is closer to a B, maybe a B-. It wasn’t super sexy, but we got players that will make the team better now and in the future. I didn’t like Trevin Wallace at first, but since Payton Wilson is missing his ACL, I understand it and I think he has a very high ceiling.
Yeah like to said it isn't sexy but good. Just feels like a very average class.
eagles also just picked up becton. So he will be there swing tackle
I got this funny feeling inside (I'm actually singing these words out loud as a type) that there's gonna be a GM job posting on LinkedIn for the Falcons sometime in the next several months.
Lions still have 7 draft picks next year. We have a pick in every round other then the 3rd rd and two 7th rounders. We are likely to get a comp 3rd or 4th rounder. Didn’t give up the future for any of these guys like it seems.
It's not "giving away the future" I didn't like. It was throwing away a valuable future pick that could have been better used on a reach. Manu has a ton of upside and if he hits it will be huge, but if he doesn't which is more likely then it's a waste of resources.
Despite that I still have the Lions the benefit of doubt when it came to my final grade.
As a Rams fan
I think we did good this draft
I also liked the saints picks. probably the best draft on paper they have had that I’ve seen since I became a fan in 2019.
I personally feel we got a a lot of good depth and potential starters
@@staticboyj.r. I do too especially with our later picks. kool aid was good depth and would allow us to not feel forced to pay Adebo / walk away from Lattimore after his contract
@@michaelcdarby couldn’t agree more I love our last 5 especially Spencer Rattler and the Dt and Last o-lineman cause I see lots of potential here
@@staticboyj.r. rattler grew on me after some time. Not sure about the O-line in the 7th because it sounds like he’s just becoming a O-linemen from a D-linemen
@@michaelcdarby i’m a be perfectly honest with you. It was kind of up in the air between him and Michael Pratt for who I wanted. I honestly thought the Raiders were going to grab him, but when he fell and I saw the notification that we got him, I kind of felt so relieved because I wanted him from the jump, but I didn’t think we were going to get him
Green Bay definitely had "their guys" in this draft. I did have some questions about how Gute handled the draft, but he got their guys. I did wish they couldve handled this draft more like Philly or SF, but he filled some real holes. What do you think of their 3rd round RB?
He has huge potential, but struggled with fumbles, drops, and pass protection during college
Best draft from my saints, this is the draft we needed to reset our team
Not to be negative but you need to rebuild your team has been floating in the teens for a long time not bad enough and not good enough
You guys are always average need to get better players
i agree mught be the best since 2017
Definitely the toughest thing to swallow for the vikes draft is the loss of draft capital. It'll be easier to stomach once we see JJ and Turner get starts and be productive, but it definitely hurt us to have such large gaps between our picks and will hurt next season. A consolation for that though is I could easily see Kwesi recouping a few day 2 and 3 picks next year in trade downs on draft day.
Broshmo, theres a new Draft Dawg in town, Howie better watch his back. His name is Brad "Villain" Holmes! He's the one giving the Master Class Now!
Lol no chance
I think the opportunity cost of Arizona having 4 3rd rd picks, and getting the guys they used them on makes this a C+
I'm just happy falcons at least went defense after the first
🦅🦅🦅🔥🔥🔥
Let's also not forget the Eagles have Paris Campbell, Isaiah Rogers and can only hope Sydney Brown comes back healthy as well. Go Birds! Love the content as always. Stay blessed chat.
You too buddy
Broshmo do you think eagles will have problems stopping the run if they only have 2 6'0 230 pound linebackers ? Is that too small?
Devin White
The Draft is the wrong place to get bigger LBs usually so I'm not worried about it draft wise, but we'll see how I feel after I do their deep dive.
@@Broshmo thanks
Jordan Davis
Hawks fan. This draft went nothing like my mocks, but I'm still happy. I largely agree with you, but I'm more positive about AJ Barner than you are. We've already got two good receiving TE's. We need a TE that can block. It might be that outside analyst undervalued TE's that can block. Reiman went earlier than expected too. Thanks for all the draft coverage. I've really enjoyed it.
Fair enough. Thanks!!!
Yeah Beebe is going to play Center from all reports. I like that they can move Beebe to LG if Guyton struggles and they have to move Tyler Smith back to LT. C.Beebe is definitely my favorite pick.
Id go B for panthers draft, i know technically we look at the players but picking up that 2nd for next year is huge. Their trade ups were great. I know people question Legette over some of the others that were available but hey they got in the first round for peanuts and now have option for 5th year option. Brooks trade up was needed because the cowboys and bengals wanted brooks so they gave two 5ths to ensure they have a potential 3 down back for the future (as i get RB is a luxury pick), but panthers want to run the ball this year, and they needed another solid back since hubbard is in final year of contract and sanders might get cut himself. Not a fan of Wallace pick just because its a bit of a unknown but i get it when i see comps to Luvu who produced in Evero's system. And Sanders is a great value pick and everyone one of those 3 offensive players have very sticky hands and all that helps Bryce Young.
I knew the draft people on RUclips were going to ding Gutenkunst for a few reaches at non premium positions, but the fact is the Packers are very deep at those premium positions. No WR out of the 1st round is making the team and that goes for TE and Edge as well with the news that Enegbare's knee might not have an ACL tear after all. Lafleur said Stokes was looking healthy at OTAs so maybe they're going to let him and Valentine battle it out. I think Williams, Olidipo, and Bullard are heat seeking missiles. Name the team that is deeper, younger, and more talented.
I also think you are able to reach a bit when you have 11 picks in the draft. Remember more often than not it's a lottery on who will work out well in the NFL from college. Also from what has been said the reason for 3 safety picks is to increase competition in the room. Competition in the WR room last year is what led to such accelerated growth in those players.
Sure you can reach on players when you have multiple picks but I'd rather not see those reaches in the third or fourth round.
@@Broshmo But you know that the talent drop-off at those positions was significant if they had waited on value. When Jones and Wilson went down leaving the Packers with Dillon their offense ground to a halt. They need a dynamic threat in the backfield to make their play action roll out game work. And I haven't studied the LB but I always give Gutie the benefit.
I was fine with the RB, but even if the LB and safety class falls off in the 5th-7th rounds he took players I had projected to go in those rounds rather than players ahead of them in the same position group.
@@Broshmo From a true value perspective I'd concur. Kind of surprised he didn't bail picks out to next year.
Vikings definitely trading down next year to add some extra picks maybe even multiple times
Sure, but they'll have at least one Compensatory 3rd, and who knows whether there will be any compensation for the tampering. I could see a couple of players like Mullens, Pat Jones II traded away for some late picks too. Kwesi is always looking ahead so is probably planning to go big in FA next year with all the likely cap space. Next year's draft class is not shaping up as strong as this years so maybe he invested those future picks because they had more value this year.
It’s clear my panthers were very much just getting help for Bryce this draft. Next year I think they’ll target o-line and d
A+ for falcons???
Idk
I give it an A + S + S = Falcons Draft: ASS
Trying to figure out who Broshmo chit his pants more? -- Gibbs at RB last year with Detroit or QB Penix this year with Atlanta?
Some bears fans are expecting Kiran being our starter this year…
They say he is basically Braxton, but with better physical attributes
Glad to see the punter pick for the bears didn’t bring our grade down 😂
It was a good pick. If anything it added some points lol
I'm a little higher on the Packers than a B, maybe a a B+ for me, but I 100% get giving them a B. Main difference is Evan Williams. He was my #79 overall player, so getting him at 111 was great value for me. I think i audibily said "what the fuck" when they grabbed Hopper though. I liked doubling up on LB, but i had Hopper similiar to you (191). There were 3-4 LBs I wouldve prefered over him and realistically would rather them added a LB on Day 3. I mean TJ Tampa was still on the board when they made the hopper pick 😢
I wanted Tampa Bay to draft Kneeland but I can take braswell
What do you think of Kneeland for the cowboys?
He’s gonna be a stud and replace Lawrence eventually. Need to get some depth anyways.
I loved Kneeland this whole draft cycle
Tbf Kyren Williams missed the whole season 2 years ago and then last year he missed 6-8 games m(IR) even though he still hit over 1,000 yds
Falcons get a clean F like that draft was so bad it could actually get an S for Sabotage.
After giving Cousins $200 Mil guaranteed I thought for sure they were going to draft Rome Odunze. They didn’t even make the Bears trade up one slot for him. Like Atlanta could have just started Heinicke if they knew they were drafting Pennix.
I give the Vikings draft an A+. They’ll get more picks next year but I don’t care since my grade is based on the 2024 draft lmao. I will take the Vikings draft over the falcons 7 days a week. But still, I appreciate the content.
Most people had Johnny Newton as a 1st. Excellent value but trading with the eagles and passing on Kool-Aid was bad business by Adam peters
My Lions finally fixed the secondary, i was surprised that they picked up Rakestraw in the 2nd but this was a good draft. I agree giving up a 3rd to move up to the 4rh but now looking at Manu, I think be can develop into at least a really good backup swing tackle that we really need and possibly a futire replacement for Decker. I think your always a little hard on Lions drafts for sone reason but just look at how far theyve come in 3 seasons. Im probably biased but i give this draft a B+ and the only reason its not an A is giving up a 3rd next year moving up to 4th this year but Bras gers his guys and i think they are really high on manu but hes more for the future, not this year. This year we fixed the backfield and i think Lions are a serious SB contender and thats with me trying to take my bias out of it cause with my buas, we fixed what kept us out if it last year but ae aere so close
So we agree with a B grade though? I don't do pluses or minuses aside from A+ so we would agree on the draft class?
I'm not even going to waste my time with the "trade future picks" theory. Brad has proven he knows how to draft and has access to information we dont.
Why are you wasting your time watching the video then?
I told you the card didn’t need to trade the 4th pick to address the needs
I hardly had them trade out in my mocks
Idc what howie roseman does , the rings are the way to prove these “mega picks” work
what are mega picks?
Ehhh.. injuries/refs have a role to play. Howie continually fields the most talented team every season
That everyone says hes great at making trades and deals and talent etc but until I see CV the eagles winning championships, these moves are for nothing
Only one winning right now is the Chiefs. Doesn't mean the rest of the league doesn't draft well
@@Broshmo again, the league drafts great , especially this year besides the Penix Pick, but I believe the attention should be more towards the Chiefs GM and the way he does things because he has the formula to keep helping Mahommes win rings
I’m enjoying your analysis, but you gotta adjust your grading scale. It doesn’t make sense to say B=above average, but then give almost every team a B or higher. Unless you think this is one of the greatest classes in history…
I had 288 draftable prospects in this class. It was extremely hard to get this class wrong. Most teams got B's because they made good picks within their projected range while also attacking positions of need.
Howie Roseman Is just ridiculous
Yeah, but everyone raved about the Jordan Davis, Cam Jurgens, Nakobe Dean draft and they only played about 300 snaps between them in year 1, and still haven't done much after year 2.
Bear Down! You can also add Sweat, Allen, and an Offensive Lineman for the picks Poles traded. We may have 5 HOF players with this draft, and, yes, I'm including the punter.
I only grade what happen within the draft. Traded picks during Free Agency or the season are graded in other videos.
Fair enough! Thank you for responding.@@Broshmo
funny how your ok with cardinals taking darius robinson at the end of the first because he’s a “top 50 player” for you but dawg the falcons for trading up for ruke. why didn’t you cry about the cardinals possibly being able to trade down for darius robinson?
1. Positional value
2. The Falcons traded a third to move up which was ridiculous.
3. Ruke wasn't in my Top 50 and Darius was.
4. I assume you are a mad Falcons fan projecting.
You forgot the steelers
Read the title of the video
Eagles go crazy in the draft every year just to sell lol
BEAR DOWN
CORRECTION: GUMMY BEAR DOWN
🤣
Atlanta is an easy A they take the 2nd best qb. The money doesn't matter obviously. Cousins isn't going to make it through the season healthy he was always a stop gap.
That's stupid
You dont know anything about the quarterback position and obviously you never played sports specifically football 😮 your rankings are stupid and just wrong😢
Start your own channel then. Probably do better than mine 🙄
Himmey Roseman does it again.
Falcons get an A++ for taking Penix!! QB is the most important position and very vulnerable to injury. Having 2 great QB's on hand is very wise. I expect Penix to be playing by midseason, while the immobile, injured Cousins warms the bench in street clothes. Penix would have been taken by the vikes, bronks or raiders, so they couldnt trade back. Penix is awesome. He threw for 4500 yds 2 seasons in a row. Only Mahomes has ever done that. You are a Penix hater for some reason, and foolishly expected him to be a second rd pick. The Falcons get a D for spendiing too much on Cousins and giving him the wrong contract. They get an A+++ for drafting Penix.
I'm not a hater. I just had him as QB6. If you are going to draft Penix then don't spend on Kirk, but they did so they shouldn't have drafted him.
First 🕺🏿
Actually, eagles gave up pick 50 and 53 to move up to 40.So the trade value was wrong on your part
still doesn't change the grade
@@Broshmo I understand that but what you're saying is incorrect is all i'm pointing out
Cool👍
You went Seahawks then the Eagles you skipped over the Steelers

Bro yall going hard on the Falcons. Yall don't know how long KC is going to last. You don't know what the tampering punishment is going to be.
1. Why give KC two years guaranteed?
2. Why ship away this year's draft capital and not next year's especially if you are going to lose draft picks next year.
It's not a harsh take.
@@Broshmoagreed. Fontenot had me scratching my head all weekend

Let them have their draft win, they don’t remember what playoff wins feel like.
You can't give any grades out now. Only speculate. The chatter about CW is W.O.K.E. fantasy football at it's best.
Don't watch a Draft Grade video if you think it doesn't matter
After seeing Mahomes was graded a C- when he was drafted these draft grades mean nothing lmaoo.
Right? Every single year my Lions GM, Brad Holmes, does some weird head scratching stuff that gets widely criticized or at least raises eyebrows, and every year the “experts” end up praising those same moves as being “genius”. 😂 It’s a joke.
