Thank you. I cut those pistols myself. They were cut from reclaimed London stocks and we had about 20-30% breakages, a nightmare but worth it. Appreciate the comment 👍🏻
@@chilternconstruction5364 I have been quoted £1,450 for just six SQM of brick slips. This is almost unaffordable because I'm wrapping the entire building in slips. Is it cheaper to buy physical bricks at £1.10 per brick and cut them myself. How many brick slips can be cut from a single brick?
@@LR52VUU That sounds a lot. You can get 2 slips from each brick if they have a good face both sides. It's mind numbingly boring cutting them but I can imagine you'd save a lot especially with standard bond. We got less coverage with Flemish bond because we could also only get 2 headers from a single brick.
Brilliant work! I've got a lot of respect for the guy who cut those external corners. Solid job!

Hi, a really nice job, to see what builders are capable of , keep up the good work .
really good job, I wish to use this brick slip on an old house here in Manchester with external insulation work
Beautiful! Excellent job! Are they called London brick slips? What colour mortar did you use? And what’s the mortar joint did you apply?
Where did you get the machine for cutting the brick slips? Also what did you use to stick them?
plus how long was the job? i was thinking to doo the same thing on my garage
how much would it cost for something like this
How much did it cost to hire the brick saw? Did you cut the bricks all in the same day?
I bought it from rubi, it's handy for block cutting and all sorts. All in all it was about two days of solid cutting

Nice job! What kind of glue did you use for brick on isolation? Do you know the brand name?
We used keraquick rapid tile adhesive by mapei as recommended by brictec, the guys who supply our backer boards.
Any suggestions to where I can purchase reclamed grey bricks mate thanks
Hi Mukesh. I don't know where you can buy them but they can be made, if you can find full bricks that match then they can be cut.
Great work but pretty stupid working off the top third of a step ladder, clearly over the top handrail. Young kid, no clue of the danger!!!
Wild 😂😂
