Wow...this is godlike. Seeing M2K go Marth against Peaches, and play him on FD kinda makes me sad seeing him pretty much always going Shiek for those instances, and Fox on PS. Obviously he's a complete Marth master, so he can use other characters for matches he deems them to be advantageous, but I can't help thinking that since he doesn't practice at home anymore, maybe his Marth has lost a bit of luster. It can't help that PP's beating him in Marth dittos now, but...I think he should use him more, and make it even more perfect.
***** i would say that his marth is not as technically efficient l/deathly precise in tight situations against top level competition as it used to be for reasons. The level of competition is harder at more top level, more parity in character MUs such as Yoshi, pickachu, doc, etc. I would imagine m2k's marth would look as clean as it did in the older scenes of this video if he would actually watch his old vids from SCC 2007, Pound 3, OC3, MLG Long Island, Viva la Smashaclysm, Pound 2. I defintely have noticed that jason's marth playstyle has gotten stale. Even his movement has gotten kinda stale compared to PP's marth which is as smooth as anything. He did look good vs leffen but he did not sustain it throughout the weekend and refuses to go Marth on BF and dreamland

You should press away from the ledge to avoid going into an instant fast fall. If you fast fall the Dair, you most likely won't be able to get back to the ledge safely.
You can FF the Dair but you need to jump quickly (Within 5 frames or so) if you want to waveland back. Remember when trying to edgeguard with a Dair, You want to DI away from them generally. So FF, Jump, and Dair, and DI up-left diagonally. With Marth you don't want to do it too early so you can L-cancel in case you miss.

So when you're on the ledge, pressing down (so you fall off) & instantly jumping will allow you to perform aerials like that, it's very useful!
