No mucking about here.. All the learning curve on display so we can pick up tricks too... Invaluable solutions to problems that no one wants to think they'll have. 👍🏻
Thank you mate! There's always a solution to a problem even if you don't have the best/correct equipment ha ha we both like to solve a problem! But we will invest in a porta power 😉
Another fabulous video. Those seam seal.lines were perfect. And I was surprised about the secret switch puzzle and multiple covers hiding the seatbelt bolts. Interior is definately transformotioned.
Thank you mate, I think liam thought he was Picasso ha ha 😂 yeah id never would have guessed that's how it came out! And the interior is lovely on this car!
@@TransformotionVR it is a lovely interior. And the colour is still beautiful.Maybe Liam should do some more Seam Seal Art and frame it. He could make some money on the side from art lovers with that.
Good work guys, really enjoying the series! The right balance of content and banter to make it very entertaining! I wouldn’t dare ever try an interior, looks like a nightmare!! Keep it up guys and looking forward to the next episode!👍
Well done Lads, keep them coming and remember 'you make the profit off the purchase price' so buy them low...P.s. Where's the footage of that Orange Pick Up Matt showed us last week? That looked great.
Car is coming along nicely. It’s really interesting to see a wreck being put back together. Nice job. I must admit after the BMW I was wincing with the airbag installation 🤣
Thank you mate, we wince every time we touch them now ha ha 😂 nah that was just a giddy moment, we just need to remember to take our time and disconnect the battery
Thank you! And thanks for taking the time to comment on each video, that means a lot! I recognise the name and skoda badge ha ha and our seam sealer looks better than factory ha ha 😂
You're both doing a grand job there lads.👍 I reckon after watching all the finicky stuff you had to do this episode a brain surgeon has nothing on you two. 😂
Great video coming along well now 👍interiors what a pain 😆I know how you both feel speaking from experience just a giant puzzle working it all out and how it fits, all looking good tho
@@TransformotionVR no worries 👍yes it’s a nice interior I have to say,vw and Audi group interiors are a pain the tolerances in the trims don’t give anything compared to some other manufacturers lol
@@TransformotionVR I usually manage to misplace a few metal clips 😆 yes I was going to comment about the headlight switch I remembered I had to change one in my mk 4 golf many years ago
Absolute nightmare if you don't know the trick isn't it ha ha yeah we normally have a screw or 2 left at the end ha ha the m4 had non left!! Everyone went back in! 😬🤣
Yeah basically the old airbag had an extra earthing point where as the new one didn't, so we just had an earth wire spare, spoke to them and they said it'll be fine as long as the airbag light goes off
@@TransformotionVRyep 4 screws and straight out on the newer VWs. Older ones are even easier just get 2 radio keys stick it in the holes comes straight out
I think my concern is the DAB aerial installation more than anything plus I want a reversing camera (more wiring?). It's a 2014 Caddy. I'm not even remotely a DIY mechanic so what someone else might deem to be an 'easy' job simply isn't for me.
Thank you mate! That mean a lot yano!! Im glad you're enjoying it. Any suggestions on a future build? We're actully though of doing a bike somwhere along the line
Yeah a bike rebuild would be cool. Also, you guys could do with some mic’s, the ones you attach to your shirt/jacket. Make life easier for you, and easier for us viewers to hear what you’re talking about. You have a great channel here!
Belter video boys keep them coming, gives me something to watch after work! Also, would you be up for doing a bike rebuild or maybe a 4x4 overland build?
Yeah, I mean I'd do any good classic bike, I do love 2 strokes too, like an RGV250 or a RD350LC, somthing along them lines, even a cr250 red rocket or somthing like that
Evening Boys, I love wot your doing, BUT moving forward, your limited with tools and capacity, . , a Portor Press and panelbeating tools would have saved you both time , IF it's to progress as a business then you need larger premises and to keep costs down possibly a korack or access to one for a pull, just my opinion, keep it up, i love it,😊😁
Hi, your definitely right mate, we'll build up tools as we're going, a porta power would have been lovely! But unfortunately we're not in a position financially to get a bigger premises yet. What's a korack? Is it like a jig? Thanks for watching mate 👍
Another great video guys! Cant wait to see the rest of them, i am considering buying this car once they are all up. I've seen it up for sale now. I'm after a little diesel run around.
Thank you mate, there should only be 1 more video on this build, if youre interested when that's out let us know and we'll send you our email address 👍
You chaps fascinate me. I have been driving for over 35 years. In that time I have hardly opened the bonnet let alone done anything like you are doing. Can I ask you a question? Today I had some new tyres put on. They say after 50 miles I need the wheel nuts checked. Do I need to go back to where I had the new tyres? Or can any garage do that? It might seem like a stupid question to you, but as I say I don't know anything about mechanics.
Thanks mate, yeah any garage can do it but if the tyre garage torqued them up to spec they shouldn't need doing unless you've had them powder coated, best playing it sage tho 😉
oh gosh, how would you call soneone who is trying to do custom parts when factory ones are available? in my... region... we call these guys "farmers" not because thy grow something but because they do something absolutely odd and unnecessary.
I dont know what you'd call them tbh but we bought a part, turned out to be wrong and we tried to make it work....when it didn't we bought a new one, it didn't take long to find out so no harm no foul
