Glad to know that I have done everything right so far, and am probably ahead of the game. As a buyer of a new construction home from out of state, I find not being there so frustrating to see the progress. It is difficult to wait to hear if the projected closing date will be set in stone, especially when thinking about finding home insurance, setting up an inspection from a 3rd party, or even when purchasing furniture and setting a delivery date. Thankfully, everything I have looked into can have the date moved if necessary. It is definitely a process that is more difficult for the impatient planner… it’s me, I’m the impatient mega planner!
