George I have seen a video or two videos of Selman saying he's not interested in marriage he made it clear then, that it is his own sacrifice for effective work for the kingdom. I trust George can fish out that video one way or the other.

Hmm I am still seeing a conversation on this topic of "Selman and Sandra" even in 2023! Wow. I knew Selman personally. I knew Sandra personally. She attended God Life Assembly, founded by Pastor Chintok. Pastor Chintok even spoke on it back around 2015, she was a member of his band I think. I attended God Life Assembly in Zaria briefly too. I think it's only logical if Selman personally addresses this, at least for the sake of the young generation attending Koinonia. I've attended the Koinonia Abuja as well and it's generally a congregation of young people.
Selman has made an unprecedented impact in the younger generation of the Christian Faith. He has, and that's worthy of note. But I think it would be good if he addresses this, why? Because he's an example to many.
Wow, 2015 and this is 2023... 8yrs. Only God knows, but it is of essence that the 2 involved find time and address it, even in passing... just for the Gospel of Christ which he says he preaches.

My POV: Marriage is expedient but not a necessity. It’s a choice. I don’t judge anyone. If he doesn’t want to marry, so be it. Take the Word and be going. Why are people putting pressure on AJS to marry? Is it compulsory for anyone to get married? We all have choices & human beings should learn to respect people's decisions!
He has every right to stay single and even I see nothing wrong with that. That being said, not addressing matters like this will almost always push the public to make up ther own assumptions about the men of God. Had he addressed them, things wouldn't have gotten this far.
People will only react to your response and draw conclusions, and his response to this issue was silence, it may be for the best who knows really??? But the publics reaction cannot be helped, especially when you have men like takim going for your skin😂

@Unstoppablegoddess726 As a leader of a church you must lead by example, If AJS is a true "servant of God" and is not celibate, it is advisable to get married, to avoid having sex outside marriage, so as not to experience the wrath of God, which can be passed onto the congregation, such as GOD presence disappears from the Church entirely including congregation's prayers goes unanswered by God.

A lot of religious folks have lost their reasoning faculties when dealing with religious beliefs. Dr Damina is very intelligent and people who attack always fail because they come with a religious mind to argue with him. Consequently their religious arguments fall short

If they are dating, then when times come's, they will make it know. I think this Beautiful Lady in question is a responsible Woman Just as AP J. SE. AP. J. SE is. Joshua selman should just release her. Even if they are not datng, because it is painfully clear that selwoman is waiting in hopes pf being wedded by JS one day, and considering that she's beautiful, theres no way no guy has approached her.

I personally didn't think much of this, but someone said something that stuck with me, which is that the congregation does not lie. We could say nothing is going on, but the fact that the congregation had the audacity to address her as selwoman says a lot about the type of relationship that both selwoman and JS have caltivated. And for the accusations that she has assumed the role of the mama of the house, my goodness! It is amazing the things that people say on social media.

The things that people will say to disparage another man of God. Did the lady confirm anywhere that she is in a relationship with apostle Selman? Apostle Selman has been interviewed several times and asked about his relationship status. He has always maintained that he is single. This 'apostle' who has gone on social media to rant, what exactly is his motive? If he was that concerned would social media be the place to go? @@GloriousPraiz It's envy and jealousy. Apostle Selman have been doing what Apostle Takim couldn't do. All the while Apostle Takim was in Abuja(before he relocated to Kenya), no one knew about him, All of a sudden Apostle Selman came to Abuja, and in the first service, over 10,000 people attended.
Apostle Selman also was invited for a program in Kenya about one or two years ago where Apostle Takim have been all this while, and a lot of people came to the programme Apostle Selman was invited to. It's since that program Apostle Takim have been always attacking Apostle Selman and waiting for his downfall. But God will shame him and Keep his servant from falling.

The funny thing in all of this is that the rumour is not even that he was caught in immorality. It is that he has supposedly been engaged to someone for "ten years". Which in itself is not a crime. But is a very tactical and clever way of playing with the minds of the public. And insinuating that he is "probably" committing fornication with said lady. Can you guys really not see what the propagators of this rumour are aiming for?
Let's even assume he is actually engaged to this lady, what then? Whose business is it? So he should now come out and start recounting every detail of his personal life in order to prove that he is not sleeping around? Who does that help? Will that even stop the rumour mongers from pushing their agenda? The Lord will vindicate his own. And everyone that claims to name the name of God, yet is pushing the agenda of darkness will eventually be exposed.

I agree with you, this one issue has nothing to do with Apostle Selmans s teaching . For people to say he needs to come out and address the rumor and clear the air, I personally I don’t see the need. He owes no-one an explanation . Whoever or wherever they found those pictures and made it an issue , that’s their own problem. One can choose to listen to Apostle Selman s great teaching or concentrate with rumors . You cant bury the TRUTH they once tried to and truth came out on the third day (JESUS CHRIST)

i think people are making unnecessary assumptions and conclusions. None of those two people ever said they are dating or in any kind of relationship. there are alot of maybes here. maybe theyre dating,maybe God call her to be a part of his ministry and not necessary in the sense many are assuming, maybe shes a relative,maybe shes a friend,maybe they are already married and they are working based on instructions from God. "Silence means consent" has no Biblical background ,so the fact that they are both silent about the rumors doesnt mean that its true or they like it. Everyone will account for their wrong assumptions and none of those two can be blamed because they never gave you any tangible evidence to do so.

I think instead of Pastors making comments on social media and “dropping words’ in church. They should speak to him in person. It’s like they are gossiping.
I saw an interview he did, where he stated that some people get it wrong. He might be close to a person because of what they have gone through and he is just there for that person.

He posted in his facebook page 8th december 2019 as he wished sandra areh a happy birthday that she is the only apple of apostle selman eyes that every other damsel is a counterfeit!! He continued to call her Selwoman and that he looked forward to the apostolic union following year in 2020. Ejimi was then working in Koinonia ministry. .... from 2020 to date he is no longer at Koinonia even when the ministry opened the Abuja branch in 2021. He unfollowed the Koinonia social media pages. This means that apostle Selman discontinued his friendship with him from then. .... obviously Ejimi was wrong as the said wedding never happened to date and apostle selman even stated in 2020 interview that he was single..... Sandra lost her father many years ago before she even went to ABU university Zaria in 2010 where she found Koinonia church which she joined hence meeting apostle as she served in the ministry. Koinonia church began in 2006 as ENI while apostle ministry in Zaria began as early as 2002 when he himself was ABU university Zaria student. ..... Sandra lost her mother in 2020. ...... One thing i know about apostle is that he will leave anything and anyone that will disconnect him from his purpose and destiny. That includes Sandra if it reaches to that stage. He has said severally in his preaching that LOVE your calling / destiny / purpose too much. Don't let anyone / anything detour you from it. .... his last preaching last year 2023 he guided people to evaluate and edit their relationships!! That includes deleting some of them .......

I am curious...If a man, like Joshua continues to get bigger and well known how many of us will attack him and his character? Will he be not be tempted by other ungodly preachers and high priests? We must seek wisdom first by any means necessary. Nothing is hidden from GOD. Apostle Selman is too busy to reply anyone. If you are not comfortable with him, just hate him and move. He only owes his explanation to GOD who knows the Truth. If you feel he is not worthy to be a man of GOD, i beg nobody force anybody to believe am. Just move on to your other Real men of GOD and leave Apostle Selman for those who are okay with him.
I was upset when Apostle Takim first came up and made those allegations and assumptions when it has not been confirmed that JS and The lady were fornicating or even dating for ten years but later when I thought about it i thought to myself that this rumor that this two are dating has been circulating for over two years and non of them has come out to debunk it at least if not for anything, for the fact that as a lady time is not on her side and she cant keep waiting for one man to be serious or propose. At the end of the day it is left to them to either say they are dating or debunk it.
I honestly hate how Nigerians put pressure on people regarding marriage. People don't even know his went to a catolic secondary school with hopes of Becoming a reverend father. What if this man doesnt want to bring a woman into the ecthic life of Being a pastor like Apostle Paul? What if he has not found someone he really likes or what if he is not even attracted to women and doesnt want to marry a woman and make her suffer rejection?

Why dating a woman for that long if he knows he won't marry the woman. If they are not dating why has he not told his followers or tell her to instruct everyone not to call her selwoman? Sometimes people refuse to reason because it's about particular people.

This new does not sound good to the body of Christ. If Apostle has not officially presented a woman as his fiancée, he must not take a picture with any woman in the word. It's not a sin, but a wisdom to avoid people glossing on him.
He must not put a stain in his calling and put ambiguity around his marital or celibate life.
The bible says, everything, we do must glorify Jesus and this implies our exposure to the opposite sex when we are not engaged or married yet.
I am not married yet, however I don't let any man camps around me more than 6 months. After that, I sincerely tell them to make their way out off my life. I don't pose any picture with a man and post it on social media, it's is a wisdom and protect myself against unnecessary distraction.
Why Apostle cannot say frankly to the believers that what is his current marital status or who is this lady for him. He always escape the subject and never answer directly. He was questioned about it in one of the church opened question. He did not answer to the question. If it were a white preacher man, he will straight answer to the question and edify the body of Christ.
I always say, if he says he is not engage and has no woman in life, he will still elevate the name of Jesus. Because the weakness of today church is that many live in fornication, not married and live together. Therefore, his decision to serve God at his age and keep his body holy will help many who cajole sexual sin outside wedlock in church to truly repent themselves and give their body as living sacrifice till mariage.

Apostle Paul had a lot to say about marriage in the scripture yet he wasn't married. @BRG what you are failing to note here is his teaching in the scriptures wasn't based on human convictions. So I don't think it's right for you to say that since Apostle Joshua isn't married, he should have anything to say about marriage. His teachings are from a Biblical point of view not from a personal. You are right but someone who has experience and revelation give more life than someone who has revelation alone. Apostle Paul spoke about marriage as a single man but the bible is quiet about is past. He could have be married before opting for the single life. So all his teaching could have been base of experience and revelation. Therefore, people concern about JS teaching about marriage should not be totally rejected.

Most times dating has no committment towards marriage. In dating two people are testing the waters to see if a relationship will work. Courtship is different. In courtship, the two people having already heard from God about their marital destinies, begin courtship under the supervision of the church or/and their parents in preparation towards the wedding. These are not dictonary definitions but how most church circles define it based on scripture.The reason why the church is against dating is cos there is more room for immoral intimate engagements before the blessing of the parents and the priestly pronuncements.

However, if i were to differentiate them, i would say that dating is when two person are going out most times without marriage in mind, hence both parents may or may not be involved, while courtship is when two persons are going out mainly with the intention of getting married and both parents fully involved.

This are some of the things we've seen in the past where people criticise others because they assume other people are doing what they themselves are doing secretly. He's just an attention seeker, and he's getting the attention he wants, and very soon he himself will be scrutinized and people will find errors, as anyone looking for errors will always find it.
