If you're really liking Persona 5's music but want a taste of the style from the other games I really suggest listening to some songs from Persona Q2 its a ds game that's a crossover between 3, 4, and 5 so it has all 3 singers from those games together. A specific one that's really good is "Road Less Travelled"
The song is abou the new final boss motive it's supposed to be a heartbreaking boss fight that the final boss is not a bad guy when you hear the lyrics

You should really check out from persona 1: “let butterflies spread until the dawn”, from persona 2: “unbreakable tie” and from persona 3: “burn my dread”.
I sort of want the combo of Your Affection and Heartbeat, Heartbreak from P4. Much more JPop but the two songs tell a story of a relation ship starting and ending. No idea if you would like it, as they are pop as hell, and are the simple town music, but is one of the best examples of Persona lyrics answering each other. Anyway...these vids are life giving...
