Please give me some revision tips for DT other than flashcards. This subject is killing me it's the worst... especially the theory. (Also that wasn't really a question so sorry about that lol) but can you please try and 'answer' the statement rather for me.
Plz remember me when you grow big on RUclips ! Your RUclips channel is so so good since you put so much effort and I absolutely love your determination . In sha Allah, you'll do amazing in your GCSEs . Thank you :)
Cheers, my last week of mocks are about to start. This ting been going on for 4 weeks man absolutely insane but yh I think good apart from the potential u in physics
Hope your mocks are going well, I felt knackered after only two weeks. Physics though..😬, not a strong subject for me either, I guess we’ll both have to work on it
Update with DT for me- I just got my results back for my mock exam. I'm not upset with the score. However, I am quite upset with the grade. I got 64/100 which I belive to be a decent score. However, somehow its only a grade 5. For the amount of time we get to actually revise theory in lesson I find it beyond a joke that AQA are this harsh on DT grade boundaries, Not happy at all. Rant over.
@@NoumanSami Yeah, as much as people say AQA is much easier than Edexcel... the AQA grade boundaries are beyond half witted (for DT at least) they're an absolute joke. I'm pretty sure edexcel grade boundaries are a lot lower.
i havent really made many reasources and im still making them ( im makiing flashcards) ive only done half of chemistry paper 2 and some physics so what do you recommend i do?
I’d say because time is running out slowly, to focus on the topics you find difficult first and make Flashcards for them and then just ignore the ones you find easy / do them last so you still have time for practise if worst comes to worst
It’s good for both, I’d say the practise questions would probably not be as accurate as there would be things that isn’t in trilogy but mostly, it should be the same.
@@NoumanSami so could I still do some of the practice questions ( not space physics)or should I just leave those out completely because in triple science I assume that even in the topics that we cover they might cover it in more detail ?
Hope you will reply to me but is physics and maths tutor good for foundation as well? I don't want to go onto the detailed notes and learn stuff i don't need to learn like higher content
PMT generally is a great resource, but I understand that it doesn’t separate foundation and higher tier which is a bit of a problem. I’d say still to use it if you can but whenever you’re unsure whether you need to know something, just have the specification alongside and check if it’s for foundation or higher. I don’t think the practise questions will be of much use so instead I’d recommend the CGP practise workbook for foundation, they’re really good. Hope that answers the question!
When doing past papers shall I now only answer questions based on the major focus on the exams? For e.g if I’m doing a 2018 biology paper 2 I skip out most the Inheritance bit as not much of it is on there
I’d say answer all the questions apart from the stuff that is definitely not assessed in the exam and so there isn’t point answering practical questions that on practicals that won’t come up
@@NoumanSami hi, I use the physics and maths tutor Flashcards to learn content. Do you think that and past papers is enough to get me top grades in science
It should be, if that’s what you’ve done for topic tests and you’re doing well at them then yeah it’s a good way of revising. As well as past papers, try perhaps workbooks such as the CGP or Collins ones so you can get as much practise as possible
I personally didn’t use it but I don’t recommend paying for software for revision as there are so many free resources already available, paying for workbooks though I can understand because they are a lifesaver
I would but I deleted all of them after the exams, and tbh they wouldn’t have been of much use as I had many missing spaces due to advanced information removing certain topics

Can anybody suggest websites other than PMT where I can find exam questions by topic (especially for the sciences?)
hey whats a good website for notes for a level caie

64 is a five!! What!? The grade boundaries was so low for our mocks that 64 was an 8…or 7 I can’t remember but still that’s beyond stupid

Oh ok that sort of explains it but even then, I’m completely shocked that you got a 5, that’s definitely not what you deserve
