    I was lucky enough to see them in the early 70s. One of my favourite bands of all time. This was the first song of theirs I ever heard and loved it immediately. Neil was just an amazing composer. RIP Viv and Neil.

      Great song. The Viv you see here became Paul McCartney in late 1966. Hence the Sgt Pepper era….

      ​@@andrewpopowycz4458lol. Somebody read memoirs of Billy Shears. That book mixed pieces of the truth with disinformation. There was more than one Paul but it wasn't Vivian Stanshall.

      No, but the Beatles loved them and Paul McCartney was a big fan. That’s why Paul put them in the magical mystery tour video. They are the band that sings “death cab for cutie”

    This is so great, I only discovered this a few ago , 1967 , probably the greatest year in pop music. Looks like this was recorded during the filming of Magical mystery tour, it should have been in the film , for me it's better than death cab for cutie.

      If you believe the theory, Billy Shears replaced Paul at the end of 1966 and Vivian was already in his band at that time. Billy Shears couldn't have been both Paul and Vivian at the same time. Especially since they were both in the same movie.

    They were on a national rock show doing "Trouser Press." Most of the audience looked confused. The 2 or 3 overly enthusiastic planted gals reacted randomly as told. Looked really strange.

    With all the insanity going on in the world 🌍 today. One needs a source of escape to relax and laugh. For me, I like watching thise crazy LGBQTMAI++++++++++ videos to enjoy a good laugh. This music 🎵🎶 does the same thing, it relaxes you. The only real comparable acts now is people like Wierd Al. In the 40's you had Spike Jones and the city slickers. In the 50-60's you had the brilliant talent of Tom Lehrer. And in the 70-80's there was Frank Zappa. Where is the 21st century musical comedy 🎵🎶 relief? God knows we need one.
