Eluveitie is ace, one of my favorite band ever.
Speaking about growling women people always suggest Jinger. She’s good but one who is often overlooked is Adrienne Cowan. She covered for the Eluveitie tour when the singer Chrigel couldn’t make it to the US for family issues.
I suggest you give a look at her band, Seven Spires, and especially the song Gods of Debauchery. You’ll be pleasantly surprised!

Folk metal hasn't been as enjoyable to me the way it was when I was younger, but this violin solo is killing it! Eluveitie was the first folk metal band I really heard, around 2007 or 2008ish. I really liked their acoustic album Evocation I when it came out, the songs on it have something super mysterious about them. I read in an interview how they adapted old inscriptions from stones for lyrics, and I am a historian by education, so obviously I love that 😂 in case you want something a bit different but still folky, def check out any song off that record.

If a historian approves, how can I not check it out? Thank as always for your support

Eluveitie is such a great band with so many brilliant songs: Exile Of The Gods / Rebirth / Aidus / Inis Mona / The Call Of The Mountain / A Rose For Epona / Lvgvs / Ategnatos
    Other bands with medieval instruments:
Feuerschwanz: Ding / Warriors of the world united / Memento Mori / Meister Der Minne / SGFRD Dragonslayer / Bastard Von Asgard / Berzerkermode / Das Elfde Gebot / I see Fire, / Hier kommt Alex, / Gimme Gimme Gimme! / Blinding Lights / Im Bauch des Wals
d'Artgagnan: Westwind / Tanz In Den MAi / C'est La Vie (English version) / Felsenfest / Feuer & Flamme / Glücksritter / Farewell (feat. Patty Gurdy) / Chanson de Roland / Wallenstein
Saltatio Mortis: My Mother Told Me / The Dragonborn Comes / Alive Now / Odins Raben / Loki / Für Immer Jung / Rose im Winter / Epitaph To A Friend / Wo Sind Die Clowns / Nachts Weinen Die Soldaten / Rattenfänger
And as a bonus, one that will tie your tongue into knots ... Skálmöld & Sinfóníuhljómsveit Íslands - Kvaðning (Live)

To this, I’ll add a band I’ve just dico red two days ago: From North. The traditional instruments are recorded, not live, but Damn! That Swedish band is awesome. Very much a mix between Eluveitie and Wardruna.

I'm always looking forward to this track during live shows. One of the best songs to experience live ever. I can't really explain it, but as soon as I hear the first seconds of that intro, it makes me feel something I can't even find words for to describe. As you said, it's fun. It's heavy yet melodic, the violin solo is golden and the lyrics combined with Chrigel's voice are just so powerful. I could totally believe that he's the king :D Probably my favourite song with the old line-up (Anna Murphy on hurdy-gurdy and vocals, Merlin Sutter on drums and Ivo Henzi on guitar - now all part of prog metal/rock band Cellar Darling).
Btw, do you have an Instagram account? I haven't found a link. I see many reaction channels posting these little snippets of their reactions, teasing new videos over there and just interacting with supporters in a different way. Some bands also share these on their socials so it might lead some new people over to your channel. Especially now that you've started with the interviews.

That is awesome about the song. As far as social media goes, I don’t have anything set up for this channel. I agree, I do need to create some social media accounts. I will create an instagram account in your honor : )

It’s under MattsMoshPit. I think I figured out how to post. I always feel sketchy about hash tagging (either too little or too much). I guess I’ll figure that out in time.
