Don't think I'd ever heard that tune before, certainly not played by flutes. very impressive indeed

Well I aint from the Shankill & cant speak for folk that live there though I have always found it to be a close knit and friendly community when visiting. I expect the Falls rd & Ardoyne areas are the same.
I dont care what religion someone is so long as they treat folk with respect.

Foggy Dew = Moreloch Shore a Scottish tune.
I would of thought you'd be glad of Protestants playing traditional Irish tunes especialy the UVF band.
Did Gerry Addams not attend Ervines funeral? Did Gusty Spence not find a former IRA commanders fore fathers WWI grave at the Somme?

Keith Moon, Maybe you've smoked too much wacky. Donegal was very much a part of Ulster and had many new settlers from Scotland known as Ulster Scots. Before that it was just a bog land with few inhabitants. And Gall means foreign or stranger, not english. The name Gallagher comes from Gall and cobhair (help) put together translates as foreign assistance. Which is what we were, We helped you get off yer arse and find the spuds that you were too lazy to dig up, cos it was raining.

Just sounds like your alienating a section of Irish society who have there own culture....
I personally like this 'remix' of Shamrock shore.
