Puppet man was in Gt Yarmouth on a Saturday in the early 80s. He used to flick from there to Norwich. Great vlog as always.

You must remember the Wild West show. Where the mariner centre is in the 70s. As a child I used to climb the fence hanging there watching the cowboys having a shoot out. Should have gone on the snails with your helmet on🤣🤣🤣

The abandoned building used to be a go-karting track, used to go there when I was younger so sad to see. Looks like it was auctioned off earlier this year.

That was a great vlog, Great Yarmouth is looking really good, that was a pleasant surprise! But you missed out the market, no Yarmouth market!!! Great Yarmouth always gets such bad press but I think it has a lot of charm and the beach is simply great.

Gt Yarmouth have certainly made some improvements, fair play.
They do the Wednesday summer fireworks every Wednesday on the sea front 26th July - 30th August, might be worth a re-visit in the evening and you can watch some fireworks too buddy and film the night life.

Once spent a week in Great Yarmouth with the lads in a Caravan ,all of us 17/18 yr olds ..Cant remember a thing about the place 🤦♂🤣Mate ,when i was knee high to a grass hopper with my Late mum and her ''friend '' Let's leave it at that 😄Holidaying in Torquay ..You will never guess who we missed by one day on the Pier showing the next evening , because we was due to come home the day before .Morecambe and bloody Wise ...I remember my Mum being absolutely gutted missing them .I think the Pier Entertainment should always stay in the UK .Fantastic for the Kids also, Seaside holidays as a kid were magical and the Highlight for me was the Donkeys on Weymouth beach, i could almost smell the shi*e on the sand now but i loved it 😄. @@thedeadhorse no problem brother, give them a try, nice nutty taste to them, but just eat caps, the stalks very chewy, one of the best mushrooms to eat. London restaurants charge a small fortune for them. You'll find them on most grassland open spaces.

Well done on showing Great Yarmouth off, too often it gets knocked, but the place has a lot going for it. Britannia is facing inland to Nelsons birthplace, Burnham Thorpe. That's why. Pub on the Prom has good memories for me,

Loving the Vlog on Gt Yarmouth Sean ,walked along the beach front a few times plenty to see ,lots of food and Slot Machines 🎰 to extract your money 💰 I feel for the people with a couple of kids ,even the bouncy castle 🏰 cost a fiver for I think 🤔 for only 30 mins ,they are doing lots of developments going on ,the Winter Gardens is being done up as well,I think you need to get the Lambretta fixed buddy before it dies on you LOL ,anyway take care stay safe 😎👍🙏👀💰

Great Yarmouth is looking good mate.. remember walking up and down Regent Rd in the 60's with my Grandma & Mum..at that time there were some beautiful shops and arcades which sold class bits & pieces but we were poor so only window shopping for us...maybe today we could afford a few bits of tat..😂
Remember the piers, Hippodrome and Windmill theatres and the Winter gardens which has seen better days...hope they find the money to restore it to its former self.

Never seen so much fkking Sand on a beach that goes for hundred yards, great beach town but surprised not very busy, I bet in the 50s, 60s, 70s,80s this beach town was packed in the summer, love the arcade, as a teenager went to local pinball arcade to play space invaders, pinball, air hockey etc etc ,miss the simple old days, if I like u went to areas frequented as a youngster, or early adult I'd be depressed, I n Ottawa Canada, my teenage years were at the Byward Market area of Ottawa, downtown, one of oldest areas of the city, no bars or clubs or restaurants are left there anymore from my youth to young adult, 1978 to 1988, maybe 2 places, fkkk shame
