Another great thing about Puljujarvi is he's also a rare PTO success story. If he can keep up his play into the actual season it makes the Pens lower lines look much better.

If Puljujärvi could finally realize at least some of his potential at last, that could be huge for the Penguins.
It's what I liked about the All Or Nothing series for Toronto. They didn't really censor anything. Really shows you how people on the ice talk.
I can't wait to see Nylander Lose it on Marner in game 4 and the Oilers reaction after game 3 and the contrast from winning game 6 and losing game 7. Those locker room scenes will be epic.

Man i really hope Puljujarvi is able to have a great season with the penguins, really wishing him the best. Loved him on the Oilers just sad he had to deal with so many injuries holding him back.
I wasn't a huge fan of Puljujarvi in Edmonton, in terms of performance. That being said, I didn't dislike the guy or anything either. I hope he finds some sort of stride in Pittsburgh, and helps push them forward a bit.
He seems like a good kid, and was certainly lost for a bit there, in where his game was. Best of luck, Jesse. 🍻
It's good to hear it straight from Sullivan, because Sullivan can make infuriating roster decisions sometimes. There are often times where someone's play, good or bad, seems to have no impact on who plays and who doesn't. So it'd be great if Puljujarvi can play his way into a prominent role. The Pens could use a bonus like that.

I really hope Jesse has a break out year this year for the Pittsburgh Penguins! He deserves it after all of the speed bumps he’s had in his career.
The refs and linesmen cursing surprises my friends that are new to hockey more than the players swearing. I can't imagine hockey without cursing sometimes heck and darn just don't express how you feel accurately.

Just by name alone I wish the Kings would pick up Fjallby, just the Fiala to Fjallby sounds funny.
Both as a human being and a Pens fan, it'd be nice to see Puljujarvi have a good season. And someone else to keep an eye on in in Pittsburgh is 2024 2nd rounder *Harrison Brunicke.* He's looked really good. It's rare for 18 year old defenseman to play in the NHL. But if he keeps playing the way he is, he could force some tough decisions about the roster. At least enough to get him a 9 game tryout, before going back to Kamloops.
PTO's are practically over and I can't believe nobody has shown interest in Alexander Nylander, who finally unblocked at the NHL level after he was traded to Colombus from the Pens. He scored 15 points in 23 games (11 goals) in the last part of the season when sure, it didn't matter for Columbus, but it mattered for him, he proved he could be a top six guy, something Pittsburgh never really tried, like with Sam Poulin, they've been letting the few young prospects they have sit in the AHL and rot and when called up, play limited minutes on the third line at best and no special units. I'd be sad for Alex if his career was inevitably only possible by going back to Europe. As for Sam Poulin, I haven't heard his name in the Pittsburgh pre-season games and I don't think he was injured. Now that's a guy with huge talent that I "know" through 2 links of separation I guess who I'd be sad if things never happen for him, especially after being one of those guys whom had major stress issues because of covid (not that he caught it, but it scared the hell outta him, like a lot of people, making them rather useless, like Drouin for a while in Montreal). Canadian players cannot just "go back" to Canada and play in a league there, I guess you can try and offer AHL teams your services, but at that point, unless you like long boring bus rides and definitely not plan on having a family until you're 35, can work for some, 75k salary, all food and hotels paid for, I expected a lot outta him since I've seen him play live so much back in the qmjhl days, some people lost their way in that dang pandemic.

I can't afford the Jersey collection but I would love to have a bunch of them. I buy shot glasses from places I traveled. Going to be in Denver for a Colorado Ave's one in a week. Then in Houston to get a Dallas Stars glass. I was thinking, housten texans, houston rockets, houston astros, nope, screw it Dallas Stars is the only Texas team I like. So its the wrong city. Have to rebuy my Nashville one. It went into the garbage disposal by someone that doesnt wash dishes. Lottery goal is to visit every NHL arena at least once. Then I can also afford jerseys. Maybe. Inflation is making 100 million not seem like that much anymore after taxes.

I feel like hockey players get kind of romanticized when it comes to swearing/regular competitive athlete behavior. Some fans really take all the media training at face value and act as though hockey players are more virtuous than players of other sports.
