Don't care about what everybody is saying, it looks dope. And everybody telling to leave the stock wheels on, go buy your own xj 220, and do whatever you want to it because then it's YOUR car.
I'm a Ford guy too, but you must give props where props are due! That C-10 is nice. Love the Jaguar XJ220, and the HRE's but I would've went with a different wheel design, personally...
Great video! Question regarding the tire comments at 5:00. People are always saying you can never get tires for this Jag and because of that you cant safely drive them. Do people just use that as a cheap excuse? Because if you can afford the 90s icon, then clearly it's possible to put aftermarket wheels and tires on the Jag. It may not be the stock size, but its pretty close. Thanks in advance! Would love to hear your thoughts on this.
@@WheelsBoutiquethanks for the reply. I live about 15 minutes away from Don law racing in the UK so it's not unusual to see a XJ220S rumble through our sleepy little town.
Anyone else catch the "572" badge on that SIIIIICK C-10? I'm not sure Trofeo R's can even handle that much twist. BTW the Jag is OK looking, I think the wheels you fitted don't quite fill the wheel wells enough. Maybe it needs more tire or a different offset. Sick wheels just don't translate to the car as well as I had hoped.
The Xj220 only got 1/2 the engine that it should have had, the quad turbo V12 should have been fitted in place of the V6, but it was too long. I actually got a ride in a ex Tom Walkinshaw Racing XJ40 saloon that had the development quad turbo V12 in it and that could get upto the 180mph mark on the German autobahns, before becoming twichy due to the XJ40's aerodynamic shape. If the quad turbo V12 had have made it into the production car it would have have around the Bugatti Veyron's level of performance, someone needs to build a XJ220 with that quad turbo V12 in it.
Man I never see so many trash talk about wheels it will not cut value down just because of wheel do u realize owner kept oem rims cause one day if want sell it he can put it back on beside I think it look awesome
Why would u balance those wheels with plastic stickers still on the tires ? Won’t make a big difference I agree , but why take that chance to throw it off ? I would always take all stickers and plastics off any tires before it’s balanced , just why take that chance .
Faites chier à toucher à tout...c est comme changer la couleur d une f40 ou rajouter de lunettes de soleil à la Joconde...une oeuvre d art ont l admire, ont y touche pas....
This car just got a value cut. If you own a referenced car\item of any decade and you modify it: real aficionados and historians will look at you like a clown. Just mentally repeat and think about the title: A near 30 year old car getting new rims (exclamation mark).
I love HRE but you just don’t f with a XJ220! The OEM’s are iconic
Agreed
But if your to put any other wheels on a xj220
its those!
@@sbkpeace.24 yeah that's right. The design does fit that of the XJ220
Yeah iconic so its best to preserve them if the car will be driven regularly. But he has got real nerve in order to customize a xj220
Putting aftermarket wheels on an XJ220 is like putting an aftermarket spoiler on a Countach.
Idk the original wheels weren't the best looking imo.
To each their own right? I think the new shoes look killer!
I knew as soon as the music started this wasn,t going to end well for that XJ220):
That's an awesome look I had posters of the XJ220 when I was a kid. Definitely in my top 5 of all time.
Those wheels are super dope. And the Jag looks so clean perfect setup
Good choice 👍👍👍👍
220 are underrated. Cool 90s supercar.
Don't care about what everybody is saying, it looks dope. And everybody telling to leave the stock wheels on, go buy your own xj 220, and do whatever you want to it because then it's YOUR car.
melangeken Amen 🙌🏼
Damn, that Chervolet. 😈😈👍

That Jag looks sick with those new retro wheels, I get it’s a classic, but it looks great
Dammmm that XJ220 looks just amazing
Clean and kept it classic. Great job!
You can't say no to this tastefully done mod. They do look superb. Keep the "modest looking" originals in the basement but these are waaaay better.
Just found the channel and I love it. Didn’t know you were local as well.
Wheels look good on the XJ220!

Daaaamn my future work place at it’s finest! 👍👍😎😎
It looks pretty good. It goes with the car. It isn't too big at all. The purest and the ones who can't afford it need to sit down and hush.
Ngl I clicked on the vid to thumbs down it, but I can't. Those wheels are hot 🔥😍😍
XJ looks sick! HRE or FORGELINE for me all day.
Awesome. Love the floor looks like art
I would have stayed stock.
@WB 🖤🖤🖤
That HRE935 is my favorite... had an eye on it for an idea with the next toy!!!
#StayTuned
That xj220 is sweet
Not a fan of the XJ220 , but shit good choice on the HRE wheels. It completely transformed this jag . 👍🏼👍🏼
Used stock wheels cost about 12.000€. How much are these? I would polish the lip of the OEM for a different look
I've always liked the lines of the Jaguar Xj220, hated the wheels. The HRE wheels are perfect!!! They look amazing.
Have you still got the big Jag? Looks amazing. Please fix the brakes.
We sold it some time back. We miss it dearly; was a head turner.

Beneno does it again 🔥

The OEM wheels look so much better. You made it worse....
🔥🔥🔥🔥
Props to Wheelsboutique but thumbs down to the owner of this car. This is like touching up a mona lisa with a rattle can.

Just got a sub 👍
dam the beats in your vids are always fire, you guys should really post links to the music you use.

To to clean

Maria evo girl?
Can someone tell me the name of the grey rims in the back ?!

Alexis Aguirre hre r101
Mmm🤔
Diego Corradini agreed
I'm guessing he put those on to lower his property tax? Instantly lowers value of car.
I dont think you could ever put a better looking wheel on an XJ220 if you wanted aftermarket. Although, I personally would prefer the stock wheels.
Looks like a 2020
from factory you have 345mm
Image a liberty walk RWB xj220 😷
You the type of guy to put chrome green wheels on a purple car and call it “tHe jOkER” lmao headass
It would be blasphemy. Such a rare collector car.
Dude those rim suck.. 😔☹️
Nope...
Il take that xj220 over any ferrari ..jaguar outdid themselves as well as ferrari with that one .
Looks weird, wheels seems small, wrong tyre size ?
Real life Forza Horizon.
That jaguar need to be keep with OEM.. those looks hideous on that car. Maybe in a 90 big Mercedes or bmw but not on a legend like that jag..
Faites chier à toucher à tout...c est comme changer la couleur d une f40 ou rajouter de lunettes de soleil à la Joconde...une oeuvre d art ont l admire, ont y touche pas....
Don’t you guys need to do the brakes on the Jag? That video where you got pulled over...you could barely stop. 🥴

The original wheels look better in my opinion but each to their own. No disrespect intended.
XJ220 = 90's NSX|Beautiful design, but grossly under-powered :(
Seems wrong fitment. Too much tyre stretch.
Bello il disegno ma il colore è troppo scuro rispetto alla carrozzeria.
Stick the original wheels on it and leave it alone
Just horrid...
Horrible
Those HRE’s are too vulgar for that car. The XJ220 needs discrete class if you know what I mean.
is this a joke?
Looks like absolute dog shit personally. I had a model of the 220 back in the day. I agree with others, the stock wheels MAKE that car.
Looks terrible
That’s horrible🤢
👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻
Those wheels are bad and you should feel bad.
What's a JagWar???
I thought that car was a JagUar
People are allowed to have accents.
