1:31 Ironically,Wukong did nothing wrong this season and Li Jing is the one instigating the ruckus in Diyu. Wouldn't be the first time he falsely accused Wukong and harmed him.
Look, if I had a nickel for every male lego monkie kid character that has long hair, has his hair tied in someway, has fire powers, anger issues, is or was a young menace, had daddy issues at some point in their life and are both depicted as children in the ✨Journey To The West✨ I'd have 2 nickels it isn't much but its weird that it happened twice
And here's the funny/annoying thing: because most of the time they're children with fire powers, the way they're depicted in medias can make them be mistaken as each other.Cause Nezha's twin buns (and clothes) doesn't seem to be just a Nezha thing,it's a kids/toddler thing. Most of the time, they both wear that red undergarment thing, and there's some depictions of Red Son with an armillary sash,to further the confusion.I can see that aging them up has it's advantages. (Personally,anyways..)
Man i Love how Ne Zha stood up to Li Jing like a badass it makes me so proud 1:11 and Finally Li Jing Listen to his son and him saying he is proud of nezha makes me cry 2:02
0:28 YOU GOT DEMOTED 😭🤣 (jokes aside I felt bad for Nezha and then the last part where the talk because the world was about to end redeemed Li Jing for me)
ngl the trailer had me thinking that nezha was gonna be a "main" character this season and i lowkey feel robbed... not saying that this season was bad but i feel like it could've been a lot better imo
Wait... isn't Nezha supposed to be a Chaos Demon born of the Demon Pill? How in the Nine Hells did he become the Celestial Realm's guard dog? And why is he just rolling over for Daddy Nezha rather than standing up to him?
Uhh idk how you missed the part where he became a deity, but it's literally a big part of the stories where he came from...? Like both in Investiture of Gods and Journey to the West. And he's literally worshipped too. Also in the original story,Li Jing can just use the burning Pagoda if he tries anything weird.
@@claudius3359 did he? I've never had the chance to read his story in its entirety. Closest I got was during High School when my Mythology class touched on Chinese Myth and Legend

He has daddy issues in Chinese folklore lol

In actuality, his dad was the whole reason he made very bad life choices. Both in lmk and actual mythology
