Repost because i forgot 2 scenes in the last video and it was bugging me. Anyways, I always edit these two so i figured i'd make an updated scenepack with the new scenes from season 5! All in English dub! I might do more of these for different ships/characters :)

To think that a simple concept as a Lego show could be so unbelieveably spectacular from a perspective of writing , animating , voice acting and music designing is just proving that simple things don’t have to be simple , this show is my heart ❤️

I loved how Macaque got really worried about Wukong, when he got the crown put on him again. Also, I loved how Macaque ran towards Wukong to help him, when he saw and heard him screaming in pain. Macaque cares and loves Wukong so much with all his heart and soul. If he lost Wukong, he wouldn't be able to forgive or live with himself. Wukong is the most important person in his life. He means the entire world to him. He always has been, he always will be.

In the original Journey to the West, Macaque (Or the “six eared” macaque) was disguised as a perfect duplicate of Monkey king, right down to the crown. If that specific detail carried over, then I imagine it’s a hint to the fact that Macaque knows exactly how annoying and painful it is to have the crown.

Hey so did anyone else realise his masky-mark thing is lighter in his scene with Wukong under the tree (10:50) but in every other sense it’s a deep red? And in the brotherhood scene in episode two it’s only a little lighter and barely different.

In the journey to the west the six eared macaque impersonated Sun Wukong and Sun Wukong killed him for that.
yeah this show isn't a 1 to 1 direct adaptation but we do see a brief moment of them fighting in the scroll and then Monkey King goes 'don't make me do this!' which is likely how macaque died the first time before the LBD revived him
We don't have context for that fight but it is possible that a version of what happened in JTTW occurred.....but i'm just guessing at this point

also the fact that MK, self-proclaimed biggest fan of the monkey King doesn't know how he became king of the monkeys is hilarious since most fans did research XD (And yes, I'm one of those fans who jumped at the chance to do research)

The studio that animated LEGO: Monkie Kid got switched to wild brain which is both getting to know the style and I think they used puppets for most of the animation

I personally like shadowpeach. However, we cant say its canon just because the director liked ship fanart of it. Until they come out and say that its canon, itll still just be a popular ship.
