They just can't resist the brushpile jigs . You got some nice crappie and a few just extra to put in the pan. Awesome fun Rod. To many small crappie will stunt s lake fast.
Enjoyed the video! Our weather has kept my boat covered for a month, hopefully the weather breaks soon. Meanwhile I get my fishing fix from you! Thanks for sharing!
Help the lake e yes, they are biting on the monkey milk. That black thick 10 inch crappy is nice then that 10 inch white one and more fat black 11 inch. Great action out there, that last one was fat too. God bless Rod
@@andreanngeise3738 I can't tell the difference in flavor, the black crappie seem to have a firmer meat than the white that's about the only difference I can tell.
@RodsFishingAdventures thank you for letting me know that. I have yet to catch a crappie so haven't tried either yet but hope to some time this year. We need to get out John boat fixed up and maybe i can catch some
Good stuff, Rod and Happy New Year in 2025!🎣🐟💯

I have never been on a lake that was over populated with Crappie! Great looking bait and a great way to catch 'em brother! Thanks for sharing!
@@The_Next_Cast that lake is loaded it's nothing to catch 100 to 150 in a day but 90% of them are 6 inches or less. Thanks for watching
@@RodsFishingAdventures Wow! I couldn't imagine catching that many Crappie in a day! We just don't have those numbers in our lakes where I live!
Tearing them crappie up once again!
Feeling that thump with only a little line out looks like a fun time.

Nice video I wish there were some lakes around here that were over populated with crappie. Most of them are overpopulated with fisherman.😂
Lol that one can get pretty crowded in the summer but most of them are bass fishing it has some really nice bass in it

Those 9 inch crappie make some good sandwiches or fish tacos!

Which do you prefer the flavor of, the white crappie or the black?

Do they always want you to keep them all in that lake or just in 2024?
All the time, thanks
