Named after Luna Park Coney Island, couple of American lads had come over and built it, amazing.
The good ol days the best days
Hasn't changed in over a hundred years.
When I first went it was only just over 40 years old but even to a four year old it seemed, while quite thrilling, a little tired.
My mate Richard was there at the opening.!
It looked old back then,
That high-wire walking is scary stuff, that wouldn't happen now.
Looked Surreal
My late wife's grandfather is supposed to have ridden a motorbike, together with his brother, around one of the tracks as a publicity stunt.
Them rides are probably safer and more well maintained then todays rides
Why is there a lot of adults there instead of kids?
Because 100+ years ago they were built for adults.
They were kids. People just looked older back then.
If only we had a time machine
