Well done Bruce! I love this video. You looked and sounded like you had a lot of fun making it. Thanks for all the detailed information about your kit. There are a number of items I am interested in. I always appreciate your recommendations.

Interesting gear video. Can tell you've spent years refining what you like to bring. One suggestion for you or others watching the video: Instead of placing your inflatable pad at the bottom of your pack, first put in your sleeping quilt and then the pad. This way, if you happen to set the pack down on something "pokey," you won't puncture your pad.

I enjoy your videos so much. I have the smaller Suluk stakes and think they are leagues ahead of any other 6" UL stakes. I have had my eyes on the eye-wateringly-expensive larger Suluk stakes for a while but my wallet has been hesitating - I wonder what you make of them a year and hundreds of miles later?

Glad you like them!... and the NEW Suluk 46 stakes were excellent. I used them the second half of the AT and other places... perhaps 50 nights. Are they great... yes... are they worth it?... depends on your wallet! :)

Sleeping bag? Or did I miss it? What is your average weight after you add food and water? Great video!
