Your channel is simply awesome, i'm in love with Stone playing, and i made tremendous progress watching all you vids. Keep going ! And please, could you more "2 guitars versions" ? It's like magic to my eyes and ears :)
Thank you very much for this! You told me that you were going to do it and you did. I appreciate it greatly and like always you did a great job! Keep up the great work!
Not sure if this will make it easier to play or not, but the F chord in the intro can be played as a barre chord on the fifth fret instead of only fretting the third string at the fifth fret. (hight to low: 565785). Pretty sure that's how they play it.
Man, I love your channel. I learned to play by ear and it was always cool to find out whether I got it right of not. This was before the internet and RUclips. Learning that way I did was a beautiful thang because it was a test of endurance and commitment. There really were no shortcuts then. Playing 4-6 hours a day, wearing out cassette tapes, tape recorders, strings, frets...yeah. Now there are all sorts of methods to make the most of playing and practicing and it’s a very good thing because many will attempt it due to your videos. So, you and this other cat who does DMB tutorials are the best I’ve seen. Y’all are doing a great service. GRATITUDE!
branded72 thanks man I really appreciate you taking the time to post such a great comment. I was the same, listening back over records and tapes, watching crappy grainy VHS videos! Those were the days 😀 I still spend ages doing the same thing now just with better quality media haha. For some of mikes parts you wouldn’t believe how many times I listen to like a few seconds of his playing trying to hear the notes and then if he’s picked it or if it’s a slide etc! I love the challenge though 🤘😀🤘
Crappy grainy VHS - LOL! My unplugged tape is so warn out you can see thru it:). Trying to figure out what shape of chord Stone was holding, thinking "what a hell is that?!" most of the time. Pausing the tape, frame by frame rewinding...Jesus! And when Single Video Theory came out! "You can't get to an e-bow?" What the hell is an e-bow?! Them kids today don't know what we went thru-.)
blejavac HAHAHA!!! I almost forgot about wearing out 2 copies of Crossroads on VHS! I finally, well mostly, nailed the “cuttiin’ heads” finale, but it took forever. Wore out a VHS player with that one too. Aaahhhh...those were the days. “What the hell is an e-bow”? LOL! Ah man, how right you are.
I've been playing acoustic guitar for a long time and now I'm back to electric guitar and I'm starting with Pearl Jam, I spend the day watching your videos, they are very didactic, congratulations. I have an element XP digital pedalboard, would you have a tip for me to adjust the sound of the guys?
Glad you’re enjoying the videos Bruno! I’m not familiar with that pedal but just had a quick look at the user guide and it’s got amp simulators so if none of the presets sound similar just go with the Marshall JCM800 one and it also has a Tube Screamer preset so chuck that in the chain too, add some reverb and that’ll pretty much nail their Ten sound 🤘😀
I learned to play this music listening to it, by ear (no internet at the time) ... today, when I saw the second part of the chorus that goes to G F and D, I thought ... umm that's why this sounded bad to me .. thanks a lot for the enlightenment.
It's an Edwards (Japanese) LP copy :-) Used to belong to AC/DCs guitar tech to any customisations were done by him (Bareknuckle in the bridge i think and he covered over the headstock with a Gibson decal and then went over that too! Cracking guitars though
And ahhh .... What is this? ... Ahhh this is state of love and trust.. Busted down the pretext......

randidil1981 awesome, it’s an amazing song, not too tricky but verse parts are a weird rhythm until you get your head around them 🤘
