- I had such a great time and found such amazing things at the swap meet last month that I wanted to go again! You won't believe what I found just laying on a table... it was dated 1911! Thrift with me and find out exactly what it is......

Hello Everyone! Its Tiffany with Thrifting Vegas. I shop at thrift stores, estate sales, garage sales and discount stores for items I can resell for a profit on online platforms like eBay, Poshmark and Offer-Up.
Its monsoon season in Las Vegas, 102 degrees and humid, and I'm with my friends Danni @TheNICHELady Noah and Kari a Broadacres Market. Thank goodness Danni brough her wheely cart because I found quite a few things at the very first booth, and we all started finding some really amazing treasure. Thrift with me and learn what to bolo and what to leave on the shelf and why. Stay to see everything I purchased in my haul where my sweet cat Ziggy supervises from his Goodwill take home box. Tiffany, as a child I used to be in charge of licking the S&H Green stamps and the Gold Bond stamps and pasting them in the books for my mom. It was always exciting to go redeem the books for goodies! 💖🌹💍💎
Me and my 2 younger sisters would take turns. We loved doing that for Momma. I have a few items she actually bought with her filled stamp books. Such good memories.

Hi! I recall a very similar sales promotion in England called Green Shield Stamps. It ran from 1958 until 1991. My mother and grandmother bought household items with the stamp filled books. 😀💞
WOW! Here I am enjoying the video when suddenly I see Kari and my socks get knocked right off! Someone, quick, tell Kari how beautiful she looks today. Harper Valley PTA was filmed in Lebanon, OH. It’s the town in between where I grew up and where I live now.
I just love your swap meet! When I hear the words “Broadacres Market”, I know it’s going to be fun! And when you thrift with friends, it’s even better - Kari is always a favorite. She’s just such a good friend to everyone, always helping, and so funny besides! She was definitely on her mermaid vibe this day!! I love how you always enjoy your shopping, but the swap meet is so full of hidden treasures piled high, that you seem delighted with everything you see. It’s your super power!
You found some fun things - my favorites were the magnificent frog and the sweet abalone S&P set and the pearls are so pretty. I’m not usually a big fan of marbles and can take them or leave them, but I found myself cheering you on to grab them. I know they’re probably not anything super valuable, but those are something the prettiest marbles I’ve seen! Then there are the ice pop molds…🧟♀️
The trampoline park looked like a blast! Jake is fearless going down the slide and Miley is impressive with her gimnastics moves - no matter how hard I tried, the ability to do cartwheels, handstands, round offs, walkovers, handsprings completely eluded me. But Miley just does them instinctively for the joy of it. I’m envious!
Beautiful Bear! Going to sleep with his bone in his mouth for safekeeping! My guy tucks two under his head, crossed to make an X, for the world’s most uncomfortable pillow. And gorgeous Ziggy with his totally relaxed hanging arm! The only thing missing is Sweet Bandit. I miss him!🥰

Tiffany Hi 👋 I have been watching for your Sunday video. I love going to Swap Meets. I went to Rummage Sales Friday and Saturday. I had so much fun. I spent $22 Friday(Got over a thousand New in packages cell phone cases/screen protectors and tablet cases and protectors even Apple watch protectors and bands. It was only $13. I've already sold $30 worth. My family will go through and get what they want. And I will set some back for our Christmas game we play and I will donate some after we have our yard sale. We are waiting for it to go back to 80s and 90s summer temps. It's been over 100 with crazy humidity. I spent $25 Saturday . I found a Kate Spade bag,coach purse,juicy couture purse n wallet and a Dooney n Burke crossover purse. And clothes with tags. I had so much fun. Glad to see you with Danni, Kari n Noah. The food looked delicious too. Happy Thrifting. Bear is so Adorable. Ziggy and Bandit are as well❤❤❤

Hi Tiffany! This was so much fun. I always enjoy when you girls get together and thrift. But may I give you some insight about the little 1911 Army medallion? The USMA, or the United States Military Academy, is located in West Point, New York. And the rabies tag is not for a horse, but for their mascot, the Army mule. (Notice the long ears?) Our army was very dependent on the mules to pull cannons and wagons of supplies back in the day. At the top it says “Beat Navy,” because their arch rivals especially at their iconic football game every fall, is the USNA (United States Naval Academy, in Annapolis, Maryland.). As for me, who comes from generations of Navy and Marine Corps, I say, Go Navy, Beat Army!! 😁⚓️

Thank you for this information, Kim. I'm the daughter, niece, and granddaughter of West Point graduates and lived at West Point as a kid. I recognized the mule but couldn't read what the tag said but was so curious since I saw a lot of the mules when I lived there. That's funny about Beat Army. Sounds so foreign. We, of course, shouted "Beat Navy!!"
@@PatchworkUSA I lived in Annapolis and sponsored a Midshipman, and some of the antics the kids would do before the football game! 🤣 One time the Cadets from West Point travelled all the way down just to kidnap Bill the goat. I think they succeeded, too. Ha!

My mother and I, plus my sister's, would go yard sailing, garage sales, estate sales, goodwill, salvation army, flea markets and thrifting markets!! I was about 5 or 6 with my first memories of doing this! Now, I am 45 and still doing it with my sisters and friends!!
The little Mexican figure is called a Chockmul. I remember the name from my mezoamerican art class. This was in the 70's so I may have the spelling wrong.

@@tylerbean542 I watch Gino too, he was walking toward a purse and I was screaming get the purse. Luckily he did. It was selling for $200 and he got for a couple bucks, in good condition too. H wrote back, said he took it because it was pretty! It was a designer purse, white leather (I think) with hand-painted roses.

Well Tiffany, you had me looking up clothing styles for 1964, the year I was born. I really like that clothing, it was still dressy carryovers from the 50s, just updated. Very nice.

We have fun like this @ Junk Jaunt in Nebraska once a year! My sister, niece, crazy friend Amy & I. We make a scavenger hunt list, have matching t-shirts for a 3 day event!! So much fun with our finds, LOTS of laughs, pranks, & memories!! It's the last full weekend in Sept. in central NE!! 🎉😍😎 We help each other look for our hunted items too!! Thanks for sharing!!🙏

You make my day. I have been a thrifter for most of my life. I worked at goodwill. My kids say I’m banned from thrifting. So they bring goods to me from all of ther closets or all of there stylish friends. I now sell on Posh. And all of the platforms. But you keep my addiction at bay 🌹. Ps and such lovely friends

Oh BTW I just saw a crocheted table scarf? I guess it looked old. Do you ever buy & sell those. I have some great one I've bought over the yrs thrifting. I like to put them on my little tables etc for decorating.
