What can I say ? They are simply IT. Total originals.
First the visuals -- the clothing is so hip, so fresh, so sophisticated and worn with quiet confidence -- all with just that little twist that makes unbeatably cool. Is this Key's handiwork ..?
Then the voices and the blending of them to perfection. Standouts on their own yet coming together seamlessly.
But I really really love the choreography and am longing for some fancam so the fancy editing doesn't remove the flow of the entire dance. But holy cow. So expressive and fluid and modern and unlike anything else around. There's sadness here and real emotion and s story being told. I've only watched it once and I was so awed by the whole thing that I don't quite know I what is going on. It's beautiful and haunting. I hate to say some of the background dancers looked like Jonghyun and that made my heart skip s beat and it did not feel good. Did they choose them on purpose to look like him ..?
They all looked so handsome and like mature artists. They are embracing their 10 year anniversary -- not trying to "stay relevant" but resetting the bar so others have to reach for THEM. Legendary.
I hope they're proud. Jonghyun who always wanted to stretch his boundaries and grow would be beside himself with joy for them. Bravo, les artistes!!

I'm so proud of them and this performance was very emotional. When they leaned on each other and lifted themselves up all together from those chairs I burst into tears. The choreography feels so meaningful. These guys have been through a lot and they are picking themselves up and moving forward. The song is beautiful too. I love them so much. Been here since 2008 and I'm never leaving. SHINee fighting!💙

The choreography is beautiful. It's like watching their story but in the form of dance. Especially the chair part where it suddenly goes dark. It's like they are plunged into darkness during their hardship and when a member falls, the other picks them up. And when they stand, they stand together holding each other up and it's bright again. It has a sense of solidarity. Whatever happens, through the good times and the bad, we can get through it together. I'm so proud of SHINee ❤️
Additional: Another thing I noticed, which may or may not be intentional. Taemin has his arm around Onew which could be the maknae leaning on the the leader. It could also be providing comfort because he looks at Onew as he picks him up. Onew is looking down most of the time but eventually looks up at Taemin (you can see it better if you watch the Taemin focus fan cam). Also Minho is the only one looking up as they stand, when everybody is looking down. Minho is known for being SHINee's heart aid and is always there to comfort them when they are crying and takes the time to take care of the busiest member. He is probably seen as their pillar of support during hard times.

Sandra Fernandez I think SM did wonderful this time round, they promoted SHINee's 10th Anniversary starting a hashtag with a special emoji that they made, which I'm sure would have been expensive, provided this beautiful MV for them, and in general promoted their comeback pretty well. I think the reason they came back is to do something special for their 10th anniversary, for their fans and for Jonghyun.

Wishful Thinking I agree!! .. Im not a long time shinee fan but I’ve always been aware of them and really do appreciate the group they are absolute kings. In my personal opinion I feel like when something tragic happens the best way to express sometime is through art. It would be sad if SHINEe took so much time in dwelling on such an unfortunate situation and let it eat at them but you can only do that for so long.. a lot of people are sad about it but it takes a lot of strength to make something beautiful out of tragedy. regardless if it was SM doing some weird stuff i think its atleast good and a fresh start in this new chapter for them. “the story of light”. Jonghyuns legacy will forever live and 5hinee will always live .
