I don't like styling with the xo curl comb at all. I've mentioned that I like it for degangling only. Also I spoke about my protein moisture balance videos in this video itself.
Can i go with leave in cream and defining gel from fix my curls products,as a beginner i am so confused and i bit concerned about the texture, i dont my hair to be sticky after using all these products

I have low density, medium porosity 2A-2C hair.
I used this product for 2 weeks and lost my curl pattern. Tried to use less and even used it after clarifying my hair, but it just was not working for me. I finally decided to do a protein treatment and got some of my curl pattern back.
Anyhow, thankfully I only bought the travel pack so I now use this as a wash off conditioner. 🙈

I would ask you to not use it as a normal conditioner for now. Save the product that you have (cause it's expensive)
Wait for a week for my protein-moisture video and then try again.
After that if you feel like it still doesn't work, please leave a comment here. It will help other low porosity girls. Then we can for sure say that the product is way too heavy for low porosity hair, probably owing to the tucuma butter in it. ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Hey Michelle. I just started my CGM journey 2 months ago. I have low porosity fine wavy hair. Before cg, the only thing that could tame my frizzy hair was coconut oil on the lengths of my hair. So i never used to completely wash out oil from my hair. Now in CGM, I am using Bella Vita shampoo and conditioner with this fix my curls cream and their flax seed for styling. I do a upside down styling. My hair is okay on the wash day. Next day my hair is a mess, lots of frizz, hair's all standing up. I have noticed that when i oil my hair lengths before shampoo, the frizz is still better next day. If i dont apply oil, it's a mess next day. Am i missing something or doing wrong? N also coconut oil doesn't suit me in winters, it flares my sinuses. Could you suggest something that won't hurt my sinus in winters?
Okay i had a horrible experience with Bella Vita, wouldnt recommend any their products.
The FMC curl quenching hair butter gives you lots of day 2 frizz.
I would request you to switch to something else.

I don't think one is better than the other. One is lighter and one is heavier. One has protein and one doesn't.

Michelle, how would you advise someone pick between the Fix My Curls Curl Quenching Hair Butter and the Curl Up Curl Defining Cream? I've thus far tried the Ashba Leave-In Conditioner and the Ashba Moisture Milk, and feel I need even more moisture for my hair that really struggles to retain moisture by the second day.

Hi Michelle. I used the FMC hair butter and followed it with the fmc gelly. U know my hair took sooooo long to dry and there was no crunch. It was just weird. Any ideas?

Did I apply too much? But the hair butter was good. It kept my hair soft and hydrated.

@@khatijasyed7256 it does give out a gel caste,and a crunch. maybeb you are touching your hair too much or not putting enough of the gel. no caste can also be the reason of using way too much water or very less water.
since i am washing my hair everyday bcz of my dandruff i am not doing any styling process ,according to my dermatologist it's gonna take 1-2 months to recover,i am just feeling bads for my hair😭😭😭😭😭
I feel your pain Anupama! But dandruff is a serious condition and it's better to listen to your doctor advice! Any kind of oil (that isn't antimicrobial) or butter from your leave in conditioner will just feed the fungus and allow it to grow further. It's better not to style for the time being.

Always start with moisture.
You can introduce protein after a couple of months.
I don't want to make my hair more curly as I have wavy hair . Will these products make my hair more curly?

Btw when I was checking the review section of this product on Flipkart I saw many people complaining about that they are facing hair fall with this product 😶... Do it really causes hair fall?
Haircare is very subjective. I've never faced hairfall with any product but there will always be people who use the product too close to their scalp or cause massive backdrip while styling, which in turn will clog the scalp.This could be a factor in hairfall.
Sometimes certain ingredients may also cause allergic reactions and result in inflammation and/or hair fall.
No matter which product you talk about, there's always a select few who won't take well to it.

What is more important to use in our routine.... 🤔🤔curl cream or a leave in🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔or both......i have 3a type medium to low porosity hair.....and right now i use the fmc leave in conditioner.... And giovani gel......should i also add a curl cream?
If your hair is low to medium porosity, I would suggest a leave in conditioner.
If you feel like your hair needs more moisture then only add a curl cream and layer your products.

The product gives you a cast but if you want a strong cast you'll need to use a gel

Hey!! I love your curls❤️ i have used fmc protein leave in and it was very light for my hair. So i bought this moisture one. Can i use their protein and moisture leave in together and then gel?
Hey! So the FMC protein leave in is the only protein leave in option we have in india. You can definitely mix the two but be cautious with the ratio of both. Go with a 1:4 (protein: moisture) ratio to start with and then build based on what your hair needs.

Yes ofcourse. Any gel with any leave in. But watch my video comparing the enliven gel to the curl up gel. If you're okay with the cons of the product then and only then go for it

Does it smell as much as Arata cream??
Because I can't bear Arata cream's fragrance.
The arata has a more natural fragrance imo. This fragrance is stronger in my opinion. It smells like a strong floral perfume. Some* consumers love that in hair products.
If you have severe migraine issues and tend to get triggered by smell, I would be cautious.
Maybe start with the travel size.
FMC had reached out to me saying that they are making changes to the fragrance in current batches. Hopefully this issue has been resolved?

Hi. The order is right. I don't think your hair will need so much though.
It will get weighed down.
Pick up the northwish leave in or the ashba leave in.
The FMC leave in cream is a protein leave in so I wouldn't suggest if for you.
Omit the arata hair cream from your routine. You don't to layer your products imo.
Shampoo
Condition
Wash off
Leave in + in
Gel / mousse
That's it.
Dc once every few weeks if required with a heat cap.

Okay so can anyone tell me if I start CGM how many times a week do I need to wash and condition my hair??? I usually wash my hair 2times a week ... Bt CGM is a pretty lengthy and time taking process.. and if I just wash my hair once a week Won't it stink due to sweat... It's hot in India and we sweat ...
You don't have to go one week before washing per say. I only do it because currently we're in lockdown and I am mostly at home + I have massive hair damage. Once my gigs pick up I'm sure I will wash and style more frequently.
See if you can wash your hair once every 4 - 5 days. Your scalp will reset and that stickiness goes away soon.
In between you can do a full refresh
Or a light refresh with mousse (like I showed in my post workout refresh video). You could also do a pin curl refresh like showed in another video.
Feel free to customise based on your comfort.

the frizz in my case appeared as soon as I completed the steps and air-dried my hair..
It takes time to complete the transition process of CGM. Doesn't happen so quick which is why patience is key.
But yes the product does give me extra frizzy hair.

Yes ofcourse.
Do a rake and scrunch. Don't comb.
Or do the bowl method, no combing involved.
Emulsify the product in your hand with a little bit of water and make sure there's no pilling. Apply with praying hands.
