Hey there, thanks for watching and commenting. I’ve not had any rust issues like people would be talking about. The previous models of T60 had different recycled metal tolerances so, on occasion, had contaminates which would cause the rust under the paint panels. The T60 Max’s are much better and I haven’t had any rusted panels. I’ve had a bit of rust but I’ve stuck that in a video on the channel. @DiceyRicey cheers man for the response. Yeah, it seemed to be the earlier models and there was a court case in QLD about it. So I think LDV fixed the issue pretty quickly on newer models. Would you recommend a 2022/23 t60 max over a gvm cannon x?
If you like fit and finish go the cannon. If you like power, go the T60. That’s probably the best way to split the two. There’s currently more accessories on the market for the cannon too so if you like to modify go that way. Personally, I’m a fan of some power so went the T60 and would do again despite the cannons having many more Offroad desirable traits in their lineup. Remember “with a more powerful engine in you car you can get home at night more quickly. Which means you get to spend more time with your children. Which means they’re less likely to grow up as glue-sniffers.” - Jeremy Clarkson If you do go GWM look at the Tank 300 & Tank 500. Both of them eat the cannon and T60 for breakfast offroad. 😅
@DiceyRicey haha, love the quote. Cheers man, appreciate the feedback. I think the t60 luxe looks better inside than the cannon as well. But I'll check out the tanks.
Just shy of 14k. Yeah I’ve had a return of the squeaky flap I mentioned in the 10k review. Replacement parts ordered. And I’ve got a squeaky timing belt allegedly. Again, dealership ordering parts. As you can see, no problems running it though. Still doing what I ask of it. Just likes to squeak! 😅
@@ashcosmo3854 Yeah there’s some bangers out there! Especially on the FB pages I see some and go whoa! But I’ve been fine in mine and I’m pretty sure I’m driving it harder than most drove their stock vehicles. But anyway, congrats in advance! It’s always cool getting a new car. 👏
Great video Peter, was a pleasure going out with you. We’ll have to do it again soon.
Keen as Mustard for another run!!
Thanks for showing us some good spots too.
Bloody awesomeness mate 🍺🍺
Thanks! It’s even got subtitles for our mutual friend. 😉
Awesome video man! Can't wait for this weekend to finally test mine out when it's done 😁
Thank you and I’ll keep an eye out for the unveil video! 👏
@Dicey Ricey where is this btw? Is it Greenough river?
@@perthadventurefamilies pretty close. Just north, in the Southgates Beach & Dunes 🏖️
Just got a 2020 one,love it
Plenty of accessories for the 2020, got to love that! 😁
Some are saying about rust.
Have you had any issues of early rust signs at all?

@@rpurbrick87 Too easy! 🤙
Those tanks are weapons! I hope you enjoy the car buying experience and enjoy your eventual decision! 😁
How many K's you on now ? Had any issues ?

@@DiceyRicey Why they didn't use timing chains is beyond me. Belts are a grenade waiting to happen 🤑
@@ashcosmo3854 Haha, I’m no engineer so I’d only be guessing! Guess I’ll find out about LDV’s warranty should the grenade go off!! 🫨
