Cant wait for DEF 2 then DEF 3 . Oh we can make it better. Just need more money and more tax and a different colour government juice will fix it surely....
about as bad as diesel emissons in uk/ europe chase 1 get2 chase 2 get3 keep chasing.
Def sucks. Two different Volvo excavators we’ve had and two loaders have had so many def issues that shit them down. One loader only had 300 hours. Many peterbilt trucks we’ve had and Mack all had def issues that cost tens of thousands of dollars. The whole def bs is nothing but a money pit.
Great video Mike
And that's why i will never buy anything with def at minimum its getting deleted instantly thankfully new equipment is starting to come out without def again
I can't even pull my massey more than 50m because transmission isn't getting lubricated unless the engine is running. Learned it last summer.
mike where can i get that little sign on your dash? I need that.
He should have went to the opposite side of the trailer from which it was being pulled, then he would have landed in the center by the time it was fully on the trailer.
Hello from 🇫🇷. 👍👍👍 🤙
I rather be doing what your doing but I am working on my John deere 4020 trying to find a short in it
They should issue dollies to go under the wheels of those new-fangled tractors so you can move them around. :)
You never said why you don’t just delete the def. manufacturers warranty ?
I am assuming it’s the cold weather splitting the tanks?
Mike, what is the bushel capacity of the double grain hoppers behind the trucks? I'm from down here in Ohio USA. Enjoy watching all your fascinating videos.👍
About 97,000 lbs so about 1,600 bushels at 60lbs/bus. Gross vehicle weight is just under 140,000 lbs.
@@randykov road bans went on mar. 15 so less than that.
Great awesome video mike , at least u didn’t break the steering wheel off like Chet Larson did on the Deere combine lol 😂,
Have you ever had problems with coop diesel and water contamination?
Sucks. I know Kubota m6 have some burning wiring issues. All brands have some issue though. A 20 year old unit it’s acceptable. But 2yo no.
How much litres of fuel do you burn in a year?
How much is tractor diesel per litre there Mike?
It’s around 85 to 90 cents a litre here in Saskatchewan right now
@@predatorhero7120thanks! it's 95 cents here now, had to do a little maths...
Hey mike, little question here, why are you putting tracks on your tractors? Tires may gives you more traction on the ground?
dont always want traction tracks give traction with out compacting the ground more time is spent now on lifting and loosening the soil for the plants to grow
@@raypitts4880 im still learning thanks for your great explanation
Am I right in thinking the steering is hydraulic? If so, that would be rough on the components without it. 👎
just use the Burts they cant have def breakdowns
I haul for a living and this is exactly why none of my vehicles run or will run def
Mike, you should have titled this video Fendt vs John Deere tractor pull part 2
Was not def considered an environmental hazard? That tractor that was pulling is huge, what is it used for?
It's down to engineers design, and spec. Build the tractor... Then add the wiring to fit. Instead of keeping said wiring above the DEF. They build it to the shortest spec for the connection. Save a penny, waste a pound. (Save a cent, wsste a Dollar)
Mighr be time for a little magic box
Made our fastrac way better
No def problems now
Even solved the running out of def problem
Havrbt had to put any in for 4 yrs
i like it somebody defeating def. or is it death.
8:09 nice add placement hahah, end that part of the video on a cliff hanger 😅
