Unless we're talking about the game over screens. My three favorite game over screens in the mod are Dark Forest, Last Course, and Bad Day. (Just seeing Super Bad Mario destroy the mic as well as Bf's Balls is just hilarious to me.)

@AmberB-side oh don't worry. I don't like it as much as others. Now don't get me wrong, I like the inclusion, but I have no personal connection with the rom hack, but it's B tier for me, it's good. But the screaming definitely gets stale, and I don't like screaming ever since I watched scream when I was 8 or 10 years old, so a little personal fear of that movie has decreased my love of the song, but it still isn't bad, so my bias against screaming doesn't fully translate to Dark forest.
6:41 My fav part of PowerDown. This slaps so damn hard and BF’s panicked voice works as well as it did in Paranoia and Dictator (specifically the ending before Secret History Mario finishes the song and explodes them.)

I also realized that not only did we agree on the worst song. Our second and third least favorite songs are the same. But honestly while in my opinion I would chose V2 race traitors over v1 because at least Racist Mario had a chromatic that is from the original animation, and not just him screaming from Sunshine, it doesn’t work too well, and I don’t care for Racist Mario, he can burn in hell. And Demise…… look I already know I’m not going to get happy comments about this, but MX’s vocals…….. WHAT THE FUCK DID THEY DO TO THEM!?

I don't really like unbeatable, but the ending is kinda epic, which saves it from being close to so cool
1:22 Neo Knight also used this as an example of how MX's voice doesn't work well with spammy songs! And that is a good example. It feels like Mario.exe's voice in v1, except way better, but still not good at all. I'm actually thinking about moving this to the bottom 3 instead of Apparition. Beacuse relistening to Apparition, it's slightly better than Demise in my opinion. I understand if anyone likes it, it just doesn't hit just as good of C tier as Apparition and It's a me as of right now for me.

Why is everyone complaining about demise being "too fast?" Its literally the 5th final song in the entire mod?

My favorite thing about big mods like this is that no one has the same opinions, as example: you think Demise is the 3rd worst while it’s my favorite song in the mod, i like seeing what everyone’s opinions are.
No Hope's placement is fair. For a Power Star Mario song they didn't really give it their all, which is why I prefer the Zeon take.

I like V2 golden land. It's A tier for me.
My ranking:
So cool: its very bland
Like extremely boring
Its not bad but it doesnt compare to ANY other MM song
Race traitors: the original wouldve been way higher but it was made so kuch worse by removing the original vocals
No hope: ive grown to like this song more but i still dont like it as much as the other songs
I think the vocals actually sound great but i just personally dont care for the style the song went for
I hate you: ima have a riot outside my house for this but i hate you is overrated
It has some good parts and was definitely made better in v2 but theres still a lot of parts that just dont fit the feel of the song
Also the lava mechanic was underutalized
Golden land: already said why i dont like this song in another comment but basically, its extremely short and easy, the overall vibe is just kinda meh, and it was barely changed at all from V1
The biggest change was removing the poison mushrooms which made it even easier
Apparition: a lot of the v1 songs are low
Apparition is pretty decent but theres nothing really putstanding to me
Its a me: its the first song which means its gotta be simple
It has a lot of good things going for it but its dragged down by being repetitive and uninteresting until the end
The V1 probably would've been lower than IHY cuz it's way more repetitive so the V2 is Definitely better
Dark forest: good song but its so short
Thats not necisserily a bad thing but I feel like there was a ton of missed potential
Promotion: great song but it feels longer than it is, i dint have much bad to say about it, the other songs just have higher standards
Nourishing Blood: funny meme song, fun to listen to but doesnt have the impact of most songs on this list
Bad day: great song, very nostalgic
It does feel a tiny bit repetitive to me thought
I like the mechanics but it really just doesnt compare
Abandoned: i like this song a lot, sucks that the water mechanic doesnt work on certain framerstes but the songs good The luaghs are perfect transitions
Obly bad thing i have to say is that the instrumental felt really repetitive
The end: carried by the instrumental
The vocals are pretty meh but the instrumental gets it really high
No party: pretty good but aside from the mechanic the song itself is nothing too special, wish they added parts od the luagh from the scrapped V1 of the song

Dictator: pretty fire all things considered
Wish mario had the goodbye old friends line but not really much more i could ask for
Day out: great song, there is actually nothing bad i can say
But there are somgs that manage to he even better
Last course: the vocals here are perfect
The wwy they slide is amazing

Theres so many great parts that it becomes tough competition but there are better songs

Theres a wealth of mechanics but how it was designed drags it down
Being such a ling song placed right after an 8 minute finale makes it feel like a drag when playong the mod
And a 10 minute song isnt nornally something i listen to on a daily basis when i want a quick banger
Thalassophobia: the instrumental alone gets it this high
The vocals are amazing too and i love the overall vibe of the song
All stars: do i really have to say anything? Its fire
But i dont think its as hype as people make it out to be
I'm a firm believer that just because it's a finale song doesn't mean its the best, and there are a lot of songs that still manage to beat it

The song itself is amazing and there are genuinely parts where you dont even need an instrumental

Overdue: the pico vocals already add so much, but all the small ligtle references and different sections of the song make it fun to replay anyday
The best song for me is easily Alone:
It takes the cake for me
The raw emotion is enough to make you shed a tear
It never feels repetitive or drawn out
Its easy but not too easy so its relaxing to play
The ghost bf vocals add just that little extra oomph
Luigis humming is on point
And the mario part
Just the pinnacle of perfection
Not bad at all.

So far only mod I've made a ranking for where the finale is top 3 is gorefield because cataclysm is actually one of the best

Don’t really like golden land v2 because of a few things. It lost its intensity. Yeah yeah I know, you probably heard that before, but I mean it. And it’s not just the song that lost it. The 2nd form sprites, while good, just feel a little… too smooth if that makes sense? Also those sprites do not give away the feeling of a second form to me. The old golden land’s sprites were obviously 2nd form sprites because of the way that gb shapeshifts. But the new one kinda just looks like something that anyone could mimic, especially the idle. And lastly, the background, oh my god, the background. I have no idea what they were thinking. Like seriously, it glitches out so little compared to the original that I actually though for the first 10 seconds that it was just static black. Also no mechanic kinda weighs the song down too.

I tried filming it for a new video today but I kept getting around 14 misses and that got me to the point I just closed the game in the middle of recording Smth that didn't happen to so cool or race traitors (I am really contemplating finding it imo my least favorite song in the mod)
But As I said about Thalassophobia it's not that I hate it but like unbeatable is long yes but it also has tricky and not tricky parts and multiple characters so it stays fast as a long song
Thalassophobia is not super fast in its 4 minutes all the way doesn't mean I hate it not at all but it's only there cause of the process of elimination nothing else
Edit: alone is higher because of the lyrics duet with mario. If it didn't have that it would have been a bit lower but still not terribly low (except if you asked me a month or 2 ago then I'd say it's number 3)

@@thechargedfoxie456yt2 Actually golden land got changed a bit. Specifically GB’s vocals, they are a bit quieter like the instrumental, which honestly kinda works because apparently in V1 there were several parts where you couldn’t hear BF because GB and the instrumental were loud.

there is a slight problem in the choice that they made for showcasing the reason why demise is "bad", since that is not his normal chromatic, but rather him shouting at the top of his voice. next think you'll know this person will be thinking that the scream in quasar is still k.o.u's chromatic.

Fun fact I think before the idea of Ultra M and Omega GB was going to be the Big Bad of the mod.
Well I think that is what was said and if you look at the main week of v1 the second song was golden land so that kind of seals the deal
For me, there not a single D tier song in this mod (yes even So Cool and I dare to say it) and *maybe* no C tier as well but that's not sure. For me, it shows how much the devs worked hard on this mod, since it's a perfect mod for me

Honestly, I love the new race traitors. The original was goofy which was funny but i like v2 more since it sounds better and the vocals instead of being charles its the actual vocals of the person who did racist marios voice (well i think that's the case if not then whoever did it has a great racist mario impression)

IDK why SO many people dislike Race Traitors V2 because of newer vocals, V1 sounded bland and boring as hell, V2 extended it and it was honestly annoying to hear Mario screaming noises as the whole song as a “secret song”.

Unfortunately Unbeatable is great, but for me it's very overrated. And Bowser's vocals suck. His vocals are basically saying "You cannot beat us" but more beatboxing, and for me it was not good. All-stars could be considered overrated but honestly I would rather listen to All-Stars personally, but that's just my opinion.

@@claytonstacy4407 The reason I find it hard finding what's better between v1 and v2 Race Traitors is because I weirdly specifically enjoy BFs sections more than Mario's in some ways, and they don't change as much as Mario's between v1 and v2.
The v2 extension isn't anything special to me so it doesn't add many points.
