That mod has always been one of my personal favorites since the day V1 came out, and while V1 is still quite outdated, I’d say it aged WAY better than Mario’s Madness V1, for example.

Yup. Creator of the song (Hazy Is Dead) had altercations with some (not all) members of the MM team, and they all collectively decided that Thalassophobia is going to be removed from the mod. (There’s also a chance it’ll get remastered, but idk for sure)
I’m happy The End V2 made the song even better than it was before both versions of The End are S+ for me. I’m honestly excited for the hotfix. Hopefully the same thing is for No Hope because I heard that song is being remade and I will see if I love it more than how much I loved the original No Hope.

Okay, I overreacted because I actually am excited to see the remake for No Hope, especially because it has my boy Redtv53. Which, as you established in your FNF Classified video, can not make a bad FNF song. Also, I agree that Speedrunner Mario (aka the Mario from TerminalMontage in "Scuttlebug") does feel out of place. But how about we appreciate the fact he actually made it into a mod and didn't get scrapped. OH YEAH! He was actually going to be in Mario's Madness (V2), but he got scrapped. His song in the mod would've been called "Speedrunning."
Through all your rankings there’s one thing i respect and agree with, every v2 version is better then v1, its like when someone says “apparition v1 is better and v2 is bad” for exactly it’s like the people remember kinda how the v1 songs sound but didn’t actually listen to them and last did a year or 2 ago, the v1 songs are mostly fine, but v2’s are objectively better

The Best things with this mod to me which I don't see most other creepypasta's mods do to such a degree is respecting the source material for established creeptpasta characters. Case in point with MX. When he falls into a pit he jumps out moments later and continues to give chase. If this was any other mod they would've most likely have MX fall into the pit and that would be the song's ending which would not be in line with the source material of Mario '85.

I have to disagree about Demise and it's Underground bit. The sudden shift of MX's vocals to a new set just gives a more intense and crazy feel to him. And it's what made Demise one of my favorites. The old version actually sounds bad to me as well. It just doesn't meld well. The current version meanwhile sounds like he's channeling the screams of his victims with his singing. And that makes it better to me.
It sounds like nails on a chalkboard. Story telling should never go over how the music sounds. Plus without the music there is no intensity. The old version is worse overall but the underground section is better in the old. It actually gives off an intense feeling way better than the new version. The new version sounds utterly ridiculous. It’s not intense at all. It’s not catchy. It’s not even fitting because BF sounds normal and good while MX just sounds straight up bad since his chromatic isn’t even tuned properly which is the least they could have done. It just throws off the tone completely and the transition makes it feel even rougher given how it just goes from that straight back into instant spam notes. Demise overall is a decent but flawed song. If the underground part didn’t sound like something from Dave and Bambi maybe I would actually like it. 😒

Yes, I know iKenny wasn't happy with how it turned out, but that does not mean all of us didn't like how it turned out. Promotion got a, well, promotion. You love to see it. Might as well leave a couple notes about my probably bad takes. Race Traitors v2 is awkward for me because while the v2 vocals are SIGNIFICANTLY better on the ears, the original had this badshit manic energy that suited Racist Mario, the v2 vocals just don’t have that, leaving the song feeling kinda empty in my opinion. Oh yeah, and I prefer the old instrumental to Apparition. It was pretty much a fan made Mario 64 song. If you slipped it into a Mario 64 Rom hack as a boss theme I don’t think a whole lot of people would realize it’s from FNF. The V2 Instrumental just kinda feels more generic to me.
As someone who has listened to Mario 64 music a lot while editing old videos…no. The Old Apparition doesn’t fit that style at all. The charm is practically non existent. The only thing I, and many others think of, when listening to that instrumental is a cliche Halloween haunted house song. And given Mario 64 actually HAS a haunted mansion theme, that feels even less true since the 2 songs are very different. As for your opinion or Race Traitors I can sorta see what you mean but I still heavily disagree. The instrumental feels more frantic with all the Mario Kart sounds being used and the vocals do still sound like he’s screaming in road rage. So I disagree but I can sorta see where you are coming from on that point. Also V2 of Apparition slaps on its own which is better than sounding like a boring old haunted house theme. Especially given how this is a rythm game so the music should be more of a bop.
Race traitors V1 is better MUSICALLY V2 is good but the screams are way more fitting for Racist Mario Am I the only Race Traitors V1 fan who likes the song not because it is funny but because it sounds good Also he is my favourite character.

I have to disagree about Demise and it's Underground bit. The sudden shift of MX's vocals to a new set just gives a more intense and crazy feel to him. And it's what made Demise one of my favorites. The old version actually sounds bad to me as well. It just doesn't meld well.
The current version meanwhile sounds like he's channeling the screams of his victims with his singing. And that makes it better to me.
It sounds like nails on a chalkboard.
Story telling should never go over how the music sounds. Plus without the music there is no intensity. The old version is worse overall but the underground section is better in the old. It actually gives off an intense feeling way better than the new version.
The new version sounds utterly ridiculous. It’s not intense at all. It’s not catchy. It’s not even fitting because BF sounds normal and good while MX just sounds straight up bad since his chromatic isn’t even tuned properly which is the least they could have done. It just throws off the tone completely and the transition makes it feel even rougher given how it just goes from that straight back into instant spam notes.
Demise overall is a decent but flawed song. If the underground part didn’t sound like something from Dave and Bambi maybe I would actually like it. 😒

@Imsad-nu5xq Nooooo!!!!! The original was already S tier for me! Why did he have to make a second one? It was fine the way it was. Yes, I know iKenny wasn't happy with how it turned out, but that does not mean all of us didn't like how it turned out. I'm genuinely baffled and not happy that he redid a song that was already s tier for me. I get that the new version does sound good, but in my opinion, Kenny shouldn't have and did not have to redo this one. Because it doesn't mean most people are going to stop hating the end, so just because he is happy with it now, does not mean no more hate on the end.
If you wanna know why people probably won't stop hating the end with the remake, it's because from what I've heard, he didn't change costume's vocals. And what is the main criticism people who do not like the end have against it? Costume's vocals.

Promotion got a, well, promotion. You love to see it. Might as well leave a couple notes about my probably bad takes.
Race Traitors v2 is awkward for me because while the v2 vocals are SIGNIFICANTLY better on the ears, the original had this badshit manic energy that suited Racist Mario, the v2 vocals just don’t have that, leaving the song feeling kinda empty in my opinion.
Oh yeah, and I prefer the old instrumental to Apparition. It was pretty much a fan made Mario 64 song. If you slipped it into a Mario 64 Rom hack as a boss theme I don’t think a whole lot of people would realize it’s from FNF. The V2 Instrumental just kinda feels more generic to me.
As someone who has listened to Mario 64 music a lot while editing old videos…no. The Old Apparition doesn’t fit that style at all. The charm is practically non existent. The only thing I, and many others think of, when listening to that instrumental is a cliche Halloween haunted house song. And given Mario 64 actually HAS a haunted mansion theme, that feels even less true since the 2 songs are very different.
As for your opinion or Race Traitors I can sorta see what you mean but I still heavily disagree. The instrumental feels more frantic with all the Mario Kart sounds being used and the vocals do still sound like he’s screaming in road rage. So I disagree but I can sorta see where you are coming from on that point.
Also V2 of Apparition slaps on its own which is better than sounding like a boring old haunted house theme. Especially given how this is a rythm game so the music should be more of a bop.

Factually incorrect. The V2 chromatic actually comes from the original animation and not sampled Mario game screams. V2 is actually tuned to the song.
