I praise God that I am still currently working on the front lines in TWO hospitals full of broken people that I have the opportunity to minister to. I make it a point to ask my patients if they have a church home. Today, one of my patients told me that he is an atheist. I asked him to please reconsider. I said to him, "What if you are wrong and Jesus comes back and you are left behind when all of God's people are taken?" He was obstinate and said that he is not wrong. I asked him to take heed to what is happening in this world right now. He said, "God is not doing his job." I asked him what will happen to him when he dies. He said, "I will be in a hole in the ground." I asked him if I could pray for him, "He said, feel free to, but you are wasting your time." Church family, I ask you to join me in prayer for this person's soul as well as the souls of all that are not saved. I also pray that the Holy Spirit fill the temples of all God's children and work through them to help them minister effectively and BOLDLY to the people that God puts in our path to minister to. I was struggling to find the right words for this man and trust that the Holy Spirit will overtake me and give me the words to minister to people that I need to speak to so God's Kingdom can be elevated.
